s coups
- excels during bread week
- constantly checking the freezer to see if his mousse has set and asking how much time they have left
- gets grouchy when he doesn’t recognize what they have to bake for the technical

- frequently sitting on the ground while things are baking
- when noel or sandi come around he always makes them do things
- frequent shots of him stressfully piping but still looking flawless

- appears extremely calm and put together even when bake is a disaster
- always takes paul’s criticism with a serene smile. insults paul in the interview afterwards.
- classic flavors and very neat looking sponges that are dry on the inside.

- flips between complete disaster and genius
- extremely organized yet also nearly drops his tart
- biscuit sculpture is insanely intricate and baked to perfection
- does that awkward mingyu giggle when paul is just glaring at him from the end of his bench
minghao
- really beautiful bakes that seem more like art exhibitions
- level headed and has steady hands
- knows about all sorts of unconventional flavor combinations
- goes over to comfort a baker who is having a bad time
seungkwan
- great banter with the hosts and judges
- one of those bakers who are really health conscious e.g. making fat free cakes, or using the natural sugars from carrots to flavor his bake
- calls his mom when he gets star baker and cries
- running around and helping other people in the last 10 minutes.
vernon
- crazy looking bakes that paul takes issue with but somehow always nails the flavors
- seems to wing it and is not sure what he’s doing during every technical and nails it.
- great facial expressions when he’s trying to get the cake out of the pan

- young ambitious contestant who is extremely skilled and makes it pretty far
- witty and charming comments to the judges
- paul compliments him on his great flavors that always pack a punch
