“What if—” Steve doesn’t clear his throat this time. He swallows. And oh, Tony watches like it’s happening in slow motion, the tensing of tendons, the roll of Steve’s Adam's apple, the way his suprasternal notch collapses and fills as his esophagus works to, what, keep words down? Saliva? A moan? Steve blinks and the glassiness clears. The blush all but vanishes. “Never mind,” he mutters.

And that…that just won’t do.

Tony leans forward ever so slightly over the foot of the bed, further into Steve’s space by a fraction of an inch. Anyone else wouldn’t have noticed, but Steve does. He stares at Tony from up near the headboard, a plaintive expression deep behind his eyes, a problem that Tony can’t help but want to fix.

“Would you like my help, Steve?”

Steve gets caught attempting to take his first-ever dick pics. It's a struggle, he explains, because it brings up a whole host of lingering body image issues. Tony, very gallantly and not at all because he is in love with Steve, offers to take the photos for him.

Reasons why I love it: Superior Ironman is always a win in dark fic, especially coupled with old man Rogers. This fic portrays Tony's descent into his inhumane self so well, and oh my god, I just want to give Steve a hug. The writing is amazing, and I hope you go and give it a read for yourself.

Summary: Steve wished that he had understood what it meant to covet something so desperately that nothing was out of bounds to get it.

Reasons why I love it: Holy. Fucking. Shit. What a killer premise. Tony is completely deranged, and in a twisted way it makes so much sense that Steve decides to go along with it in the end. I love this fic so much, and I bet you will too, so please go and check it out!

Summary: After waking up from his coma, Tony has a lot of questions for Hydra Cap. And Steve has answers - but not the ones Tony was expecting.

Reasons why I love it: Their conversation is so well-written. I love the way it escalates and gets disrupted at the end, it really ratchets up the tension. And Hydra Cap's final words to Tony, sheesh, those hit deep. This fic is fantastic, and you should definitely read it!

Five down the lumbar, and then Steve's pawing at his sacrum, fingers fluttering until he reaches the center of Tony’s ass. "There you are," he says, spreading Tony's cheeks. Tony sees Steve's shiny boots until he crouches to the ground, and then all that’s left are those stupid green trousers that should be blue. There’s a puff of air on his hole, then a dry finger circles the rim. It presses in, slow. Tony should be used to this violation by now. But he’s not.

Reasons why I love it: This one is just beautifully awful. I love how the torture Steve inflicts is juxtaposed with his calm, almost kind demeanor. And oh my god, poor Tony still loving the Steve he used to know is the saddest thing ever. I love this one, so please go and check it out!

An Empty Hell by Diomedes

Pairing: Steve/Tony Rating: E Words: 9,668 Tags: Unhealthy Relationships, Body Horror, Open Ending

Summary: Tony was the one who got them stranded in this barren, strangely empty place so it was his responsibility to get them back home. The only problem was: he literally couldn't remember how to do that. The landscape was horrendously beautiful, like no Hell Tony could have ever hoped to deserve.

Reasons why I love it: This fic feels so poetic and sad. Before I even read the tags, the title made me think of Dante's Inferno, and I really love the inspiration that this fic took from it. The writing style is amazing, and the pictures Diomedes paints with their words are incredibly beautiful. In short, go and read this fic, because it's wonderful!

Steve and Clint dynamic in this era is so funny. 😂😂😂 Clint is the mischievous friend (or son, Idk) who wastes no chance to piss Steve off, but he cares about Steve in his own way. Sweet and funny at the same time, tbh.

Ok, but I need to talk about how being Captain America had make Steve suffer and feel like a symbol than a person many times, but at the same times he can't stop, because Captain America had became his identity and he can't separate that part of him from the "Steve Rogers" part.
