Rewrite The Stars

While outside was the raising sun, they had closed the curtains of Stolas bedroom.

A kaleidoscope of purples and violets, burning stars under the canopy of the way too big bed for the small Imp.

"I could create us stars, supernovas in sparks and galaxies".

A small spark circled around Blitzøs head, made him a bit dizzy.

"Whatever floats your boat", it was kinda cute, he just didn't want to admit it.

"We could name them" ,the soft voice of the Prince made him look at up to him. Stolas would always be pretty, even tousled and desperately in need of sleep, his features made him always look graceful.

Gorgeous.

He would, obviously, never tell him that.

"Ah, got any ideas already?", he played with a feather Stoals had plucked of himself as it was anyway, ready to fall out. Twirled it between his fingers, let the softness brush over his leg.

The stars sparked, tiny specks of any color, mostly red and blue, exploded over them. Blitzø had to admit that he was at least a bit in awe.

"Lovers".

Here's my answer to that:

No, for real.

I haven't had the motivation to draw THIS much for ages. The Supernatural fandom is nice and all but Helluva Boss and Hazbin has given me so many new ideas and characters to enjoy.

I could pull out an 6 hour power point presentation, out of my sleeve, about Dean Winchester and his deep rooted issues. I have been there when media queer baited a fandom to it's death. I've sold my kidney to meet these guys and it's still exiting but I'm in this for 17 years now.

17 whole years of fandom. Going crazy about the slightest hints and all.

And then Blitzø appeared on my screen, because we just watched Hazbin the day before and YouTube algorithm catched me and I WAS SOLD.

Everything about this series and it's lore and verse and relationships is FUN. I don't have to imagine things because THEY'RE ACTUALLY HAPPENING.

Yes, the show has problems too but they talk so openly about things I've wanted to hear for years. The main character of the show is a crazy bisexual (pansexual?), they don't talk around it, it's just a FACT.

Look I've seen Jensen Ackles bending his o shaped legs in weird directions to declare Dean Winchester nothing but a ladies man.

Blitzø fucks an aristocrats giant pretty Twink Owl in the first five minutes of the series lol

I know they're totally different genres but man, I'm so tired to have to read always between the lines.

I don't want to read between the lines atm. I want to enjoy the rainbow hellfire that's Helluva Boss and Hazbin.

And I would've never thought that I would have a conversation with myself about Supernatural and HB/HH, just because someone had the mood to give me a reason to.

For my first of two super fun DCRB24 collabs, I got paired with the amazing sunkenfox <3

When I put in this art prompt that would inevitably lead to both Destiel and JenMish content, I was a bit worried that no one would want to write it - especially because my Reverse Bang ideas are usually very specific. Sunkenfox took on the challenge and exceeded all my expectations though! Whenever I had suggestions or asked for little tweaks, they didn't hesitate to work them in somehow and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. It has (non-explicit but very in love) Cockles, Queen Danneel on board, our boys finally finding their way to each other, and maybe a few fandom shenanigans too ;)

I think the best way to fight this AI shit is just to support actual creators. The cat's out of the bag with AI; our data's going to be taken and used without our consent whether we like it or not, so maybe we should put efforts into holding up those who create their own stuff. Comment/interact on people's writings and art. Make it worth them posting; make it clear that what the people are interested in isn't generated stuff, but things that people have actually done themselves. It's a drop in the ocean, but showing creators that it's them that deserve the support at least serves to cut off a tiny bit of oxygen to these AI hogs - and make a difference to creatives who are trying against hope to share with a community.
