Diamonds in the Rough: Mod Application

Diamonds in the Rough is a shipping zine for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. However, unlike most shipping zines that focus on the usual popular pairings, Diamonds is intended to be an inclusive zine that encompasses ships that are considered to be rare (or crack in some cases). Additionally Diamonds will not be focusing on a particular part of the series, instead all of the parts will be allowed for the creation of art, merch, and writing.

Like many things in life, they have to come to an end.

 This includes this blog. Like I stated a week ago, this blog is going to be archived due to multiple reasons stated in my previous post. I am most likely going to go on a week long hiatus from drawing to help with this increasing hatred and unhappiness for my art as well. Probably followed by another week of just— trying to go back to the basics with art. 

Though this is the end of this blog, I will still be around on some social media if you would like to still support me.

Anyway, thank you once again for being there for me over these past weeks.

I decided that I'm going to archive this blog in the next couple of days. There's a possibility that I'll open a new blog it this one's stead but I'm still unsure.

I guess I wanted to talk about this since I have basically dropped off from the face of the Earth and more or less stopped posting. To be honest with you, part of it is a general drain from daily life. However, with the increasing hate that’s going around (admittedly part of it on my behalf a while ago), I really find it hard to focus on either of my blogs.

I really want to grin, bare it, and continue drawing since it’s my one true love. However, these death threats and other portions of callout culture is bringing me back to the days I was in the overwatch fandom. A time that my bisexual girlfriend at that time got so much hatred and death threats for a simple headcanon. 

Seeing this harassment isn’t something I condone or want. 

I don’t know if I really want to continue or just start a new.

I just don’t know where I want to go from here.

Golly gee Kaze where have you been and why haven’t you been updating on either of your ask blogs:

- I been having a difficult time with my summer courses (one that I had to drop because it was really taxing my mental health) and been trying to maintain my gpa

- I have been focusing on some other art that I wanted to draw that you can find on my art blog @kazedoodles on Instagram and Tumblr.

- I have started to moderate for a zine @behindpromare and been focusing on graphic design

Hopefully I’ll start to come back but atm I have little motivation to work on asks.

After a lot of thinking and talking with other people, I would like to apologize for unjust accusations that I made. Tensions were high, especially within this climate we find ourselves (Americans) in. I also deeply apologize for not informing people not to send death threats to the blogs mentioned as I never would promote violence or someone harming themselves. There is a difference between disagreeing and condemning someone for their actions and telling a person to kill themselves. 

I, however, will still believe that there still needs to be an understanding that an ideology like n*zism still effects people to this day. Especially when them, the kkk, and other white supremacist do still pose a threat to people’s lives. This as well as general antagonist behavior that was observe will not be tolerated.
