Hey guys! We’ve gotten a couple of asks about this, so I’m going to put the topic to rest.

 We are aware that the concept art for Janus is a little different compared to the others. We happen to have several artists helping us bring this blog to fruition and will therefore end up with different art styles throughout the story. We, personally, think the multiple stylistic choices of the artists helps to bring different background information to light, and allows for multiple visual angles of the story.

 We are aware that many of these asks stem from This One Right Here [Link], and are trying to clarify what the asker may have meant. Janus’s art is not “messed up,” it is a different style that was encouraged for the story.

 Please stop sending us asks about this.

Anon, I’m gonna assume this is just bad wording or that you’re uninformed. I don’t wanna think you’re tryin’ to be mean, since that’s probably not the case.

Janus has a skin condition called Vitigillo! Vitigillo is a condition in which the pigment is lost from areas of the skin, causing whitish patches, often with no clear cause.

So, he’s not “messed up”, just has a skin condition!
