Reminiscing Summer🌞 : Summer is happy and playful.

Summer makes me remember all those childhood days and childish games.

Summer takes me down the memory lane of happy memories.

Summer makes me think of golden sunshine, bright blue skies, butterflies, cold water fights, and long days spent playing outside.

Bees and glees,

Sunflowers and squirrels,

Summer makes me think of yellows and mellows—happy faces with sappy smiles,

Summer feels like home. It takes me back to those carefree days of laughter and sunshine, where I felt safe and secure in my own skin.

Summer feels like a warm hug, a sense of joy and freedom.

Summer feels like a beautiful daydream .

Summertime is my favourite time of year. It reminds me of childhood; I want to live every year.

It hurts looking at you every day but not being able to hug you.

It hurts watching you speak but not being able to listen to you or your heartbeat.

It hurts watching you smile but not being able to touch those dimples that pop out when you smile, or not being the reason for your smile anymore.

It hurts watching you fix your hair but not being able to run my fingers through it.

It hurts watching you shake hands with your friends but not being able to intertwine your hands with mine.

It hurts watching you fall apart but not being able to hold you.

It hurts catching you gazing at me with longing but not being able to look into your eyes.

It hurts watching you move, but I'm not your way anymore.

How reading has changed me:

1. I come to understand who 'I' really am

2. I learn a lot about diverse topics

3. I learn how to apply the lessons

4. I escape to various adventures and different worlds

5. I quench my intellectual curiosity

6. I experienced overall self-development

I like Stories (fictional or nonfictional) and Philosophy.

These two genres inspire me more than any others.

Philosophy gives me the theory, and Stories give me the examples, to execute.

Combining both gives me the tools to actively take my reading and apply it to my life.
