[PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS + HELP US

hello everyone, I really really didn't want to resort to begging for help but I am so completely beyond my limit in like every way.

TLDR I'm 31 weeks pregnant with a high stress, high risk pregnancy as a trans man and me + my wife (also trans) have no money and a lot of very stressful things on our plates. we really really really need money help but we also have a baby registry that we would appreciate donations on

since January:

me and my wife have had our car totaled at someone else's fault, got a pittance from insurance and managed to find a used car that immediately had a check engine problem. I also had to put it under my name and take out a new insurance policy which has been expensive and on top of that I got listed as at fault for the accident for insurance purposes and can't fight it without dedicating my life to it;

we got scary news about our baby's anatomy scan because they found a) ventriculomegaly b) a potential minor heart defect c) concern about brain structures d concern about fetal weight/growth. I had to get amniocentesis, a fetal echocardiogram, fetal MRI, and consult with a pediatric neurosurgeon for potential surgery. it has been so absolutely stressful for this alone but on top of that I developed gestational diabetes. I have been going to the doctor weekly and now need to go twice a week on top of therapy which puts stress on my car and gas tank and is exhausting;

we got covid literally the day of my amniocentesis and while I didn't get too sick my wife felt quite rough and is concerned she's having long covid symptoms that aren't being addressed. we also found out that the place she works at killed their covid pay program less than a month prior to her getting sick;

we are trying to move from our current living situation and will unfortunately have to pay twice as much for rent on top of extra bills and baby expenses!!! I have been struggling HARD to find any place remotely reasonable for what we need and we have been backed up against a wall until the very last minute. our family is fairly broke and wants to help us as much as they can but it can only go so far.

my wife had to take more than a week off of work due to either long covid or severe anxiety from everything that has been going on causing it to be dangerous for her to work, she's back at it now and medicated but it screwed us up for this month;

we put our tax return in a month ago and still haven't gotten it back, the IRS website says its still processing inexplicably but we were going to use our return to pay for our apartment security deposit and towards our rent this month due to being short from my wife taking off; and to really add insult to injury our power went out this morning and we had to toss like all of our refrigerated foods. we do not have money to replace them and most of it is stuff we just bought.

we are also very very worried about how my wife is going to take time off of work once the baby is born. FMLA in the USA is a joke and she doesn't qualify anyway. our best bet is simply to cover a months rent and hope for the best, but this is much easier said than done. I have been far too exhausted and stressed to work.

I have no idea how to quantify how much we need to be remotely safe or stable right now but it would probably literally be like $3000 or more and that's without car considerations. I'm here to beg for ANYTHING though because I feel like everything is falling apart around me and like we are going to end up homeless or having our baby ripped away from us.

moving out of state with family really isn't an option because of how my health insurance is set up and how delicate me and my baby's health are right now, not to mention being trans in the US is getting scarier by the day.
