I'm not trying to doom post, I mean, I'm still gonna pull regardless. But did anyone notice that in the livestream, they didn't show numbers or Arlecchino losing health? The grass was on fire, and she was standing in it, which usually makes the character take damage. But she took none from what I could tell. Again, no numbers were shown.

An example of what I mean can be seen from 10:45 - 11:37 in the 4.6 livestream video.

The last time this was pointed out, or at least brought to my attention, it was for Deyha. Or is this a thing Hoyoverse started doing in livestreams? I honestly don't watch them, I just look for the codes so I could be bringing this up over nothing.

Unless I'm really interested, like with 4.6 update, because I'm super excited for Father to come home. I haven't been this excited since Raiden was released. Even then, though, I didn't go as all out as I am now.

Weird little headcanon that I don't know how to feel about, and I'll explain why otherwise I feel a misunderstanding will follow. So please read the whole thing. I apologize in advance if it doesn't make sense, I tried.

Im iffy on this because, and I ask as a fellow trans person who wants to surgically transition, does one stop being trans after surgery?

Yeah, I hear about people going through with it and are happy they feel like themselves, but that's where it stops. I don't see anyone really bring it up anymore. Maybe I'm just blind but I rarely see trans characters where they fully transitioned.

I feel like that's because people are like, "Well, if they have all the equipment of the one, why bother making them trans? Just say they're cis." Or that's just what my mind thinks the reason is.

I personally don't think a person stops being trans after going through with the full post-op process. Because, generally transmen can't make sperm regardless of if they have a dick now. And generally trans-women can't give birth to kids, despite having a vag. So I feel like there's something to be said or shown there.

>Quick note after re-reading: when I say full post op, I mean they went through the whole surgical process, no matter how many surgeries it took for them. So top and bottom or just bottom, depending. I'm also sorry if I'm excluding any intersexed folks because there is so much body diversity that it's hard to include everyone in what I'm trying to say. I'm also out of the loop of the more inclusive terminology that I just see people throw around, and I don't know what it means half the time, even with the help of Google. My brain just isn't processing that info.

Alright, so the channel is up and running, I currently have 6 videos that you can check out if you're interested. Please remember I'm still in the beginner learning stages.

I try to post a video on Tuesdays or at least 1 video within the week [Sunday - Saturday] regardless of when the last uploaded.

Lil update, first meet Pomegranate, the Synth who is behind the gameplay (aka me). Pomegranate is the persona I'll be putting on, so questions about him are open. I'll attempt to make a video answering questions. I don't want to be a voiceless youtuber, but currently, it's either I record the game audio or do a voice-over when I edit the videos of my reactions. I personally think people would rather hear just the game than just my voice at this time.

Now, speaking about audio, let's talk about the videos so far because an issue popped up. I have the videos ready for release, and I'm kinda ok with going through with posting it, but I would like to hear from others.

The situation:

There are several issues with one of the videos, other than my gameplay, mainly there a few periods of time when the game audio didn't record for some reason. But the game, Genshin Impact, doesn't allow for redos for archon quests unless you start completely over from scratch. (At least to my knowledge.)

This is actually my second attempt at starting, so it'll be a third time if I start again.

Starts working on making a YouTube channel, gets a few videos recorded, and ready for release....

Does absolutely nothing to even promote the debute because I forgot I need people to be interested in the first place...

So would anyone be interested? It's mostly just for fun. Please don't expect amazing quality. It's a learning process for me, especially since I'm just using what I have to work with.

I eventually want to build a community where once certain milestone ls are hit, I'd like to do something fun and interesting, so even just giving possible ideas for that would be of great help. Something to actually interact with the community. (Along with some ideas for milestone goals I should be looking to set)

Nothing has been released yet because I'm still recording and editing, but I'm just curious if people would be interested at all.

The starting games will be Genshin Impact and maybe Honkai Star Rail, and once I get a better handle on things, I will try to bring in more variety, or at least that's the hope. Maybe even some Stardew Valley or even reaction videos.

Genshin Headcanon(s): Chenyu Vale

Bluey (I forgot her real name, plus I'd probably butcher it) has feelings for Fujin and was jealous of the connection Fujin had with Herblord (the white snake that gets eluded to, which has to be Changsheng). I mean, she [Bluey] was going to destroy current day Chenyu Vale so Fujin can be at full power and they can drink tea together again.

I don't think Fujin is blind to Bluey's feelings, but she doesn't seem to fully return the sentiment. Kinda feels like she got friendzoned. But that could also be due to Bluey's actions.

Which makes Bluey's "Im a foolish beast" line read a few ways. Well, that entire conversation, really. Dejected after getting rejected, or that blushy but stubborn "fine you win," situation.

Overall, I see Bluey as a human would be one of those traditional and classy ladies but would probably be given the Mountain Shaper and Moon Carver treatment if given a human form...

I'd also like to clarify that even though I say Bluey was jealous, I don't think she despised Herblord since they were friends, all 3 of them. It's just that Fujin and Herblord were very close, and Bluey might have misinterpreted the bond as something more since she had feelings for Fujin.

Please, no beastiality about this. I know Fujin prefers her human form while Bluey prefers to stay in her animal form. But maybe Bluey can be convinced eventually to take up human form again. Or maybe Fujin gets stuck in her carp form again, so Bluey takes care of her.

I occasionally see a post or two about how people used to hate certain characters but don't anymore. One of the characters included in the list is Furina, apparently for her bratty personality she had when we first met her.

I never saw her as bratty because she just never came off as a brat to me. What did she come off as though? Another damn Fischl with Neuvillette being Oz....don't get me wrong, Fischl isn't a bad character it's the whole putting on airs of they are so important and above everyone else, to the point its questionable how people could take them seriously. Then again, some Fontainians did kinda view her [Furina] as more of a mascot than an actual archon.

The point I'm trying to make is that I didn't like her because she was over the top, and it seemed fake, and she was forcing people to go along with it.

In those first few interactions before the aquabus ride with Lynne, my theory was that there was gonna be false justice, and everything was shiny on the surface but underneath was a different story....kinda like Dressrosa from One Piece but like we didn't know as much going into Fontaine as the Straw hats did...you know?

Cleary, it was just a theory....a game theory.

And I actually enjoyed the real story better, I'm also glad we got to see more of Furina and her true colors. I hope they continue to show her growth, even if it just a small exchange during certain events

hey, listen! this is a rant post about neurodivergent characters in Genshin and my frustration with the fandom's reading comprehension skills. if you're in a bad place or just don't like angry rants, please don't force yourself and go read something else instead. <3

Okay, so, I watched this video recently, and let's just say, I have some thoughts.

This isn't just a Xiao problem- the entire fandom is terrible at characterization. The example that makes me the most angry is the mischaracterization of neurodivergent characters.

Take Alhaitham for example. He's often seen as rude and narcissistic by the fandom- which is especially apparent in Haikaveh content, where people portray him as straight up abusive.

You wanna know why this makes me so mad? The supposedly narcissistic and rude traits Alhaitham has are actually just exaggerated symptoms of autism.

Like, come ON, people. Don't skip dialogue. Better yet, go read through his story quest again. He straight up tells someone who sees him as narcissistic that he doesn't see others as less than himself. Also, his voicelines basically confirm this- he's extremely socially inept and he doesn't care. He has difficulty showing emotions as readily as his peers- that doesn't mean he doesn't have them, just that he expresses them differently. He comes across as rude because he doesn't get that people don't like to hear what they're doing wrong, and he probably doesn't care because that's not his problem. If people don't like how blunt he is, that's their problem. At least, that's how I think he views the world.

And like, there are SO many hints that he's autistic. He wears sound-blocking earpieces, for crying out loud. Hell, the ENTIRE REASON why he helped out during the Archon quest was because he didn't want his life to change too much. Preferring routine is an autistic trait.

And the worst part is, when I talk about this outside of neurodivergent groups, people tell me I'm wrong and that he couldn't be autistic DESPITE THOSE PEOPLE NOT BEING AUTISTIC THEMSELVES.

And I'm not saying that every autistic person relates to Alhaitham, but I certainly do. And I'm actually quite friendly because I'm anxious about being rejected. Alhaitham isn't, and I'm so jealous of him for that. He's living his best life.

Finally, back to the Haikaveh thing... Alhaitham isn't abusive. He doesn't say horrible things to Kaveh, and the one example of him doing that I could find, he immediately backtracked and subtly tried to make Kaveh feel better. Hell, Alhaitham doesn't even actually care about making sure Kaveh pays rent. He says it as a joke, but because he's autistic and his tone of voice doesn't give that away as well, he's portrayed as abusive and misunderstood as narcissistic. Y'all just don't like neurodivergent people and it shows.

Yes, neurodivergent includes Xiao. PTSD is often viewed as a form of neurodivergency, and there are many MANY characters in Genshin that have PTSD or some other form of neurodivergence. Yet people refuse to see them as such and mischaracterize them as "edgy," "narcissistic," "unapproachable," "weird," and the like. Yet none of these characters are any of those things.

You wanna know the true narcissists? The true edgelords? The actually rude people? Might I direct your attention to Scaramouche, Childe, and Dottore, whom everyone makes out to be as misunderstood pathetic little meow meows that need love.

Reminder that only two of those three are actually redeemable, and one is STILL an edgelord who is more rude than Alhaitham could ever be, while the other is a certified insane person with a weird set of morals.

(Side note: I love Scaramouche and Childe as characters. I'm just tired of people acting like they aren't worse than the autistic characters. Scaramouche is extremely rude, but he's trying to be better as Wanderer thanks to Nahida's help. He has severe PTSD, and Childe does, too. But both of them are actually messed up and have done horrible things, yet people portray them as better and more in need of love than the characters with unlikable (read: neurodivergent) traits.)

Don't even get me started on how people portray Kokomi, Sucrose, Fischl, Diluc, Zhongli, Cyno, Furina, Neuvillette, and Albedo. Especially that last one- I WILL get mad if one more person tries to tell me he's just emotionless and rude.

Also, if anyone is wondering where I've seen people misunderstanding these characters, it's mostly on Hoyolab site discussions. There's one too many posts talking about how "rude" and "annoying" these characters are.

With Alhaitham especially, I see many people writing him as abusive in Haikaveh content. I see people arguing about the ship being toxic because Alhaitham is "abusive," "unfeeling," and "cruel." Even people who like the ship portray him as such. And I've seen too many people comparing him to Dr. Ratio, who is literally just a narcissist who views others as beneath him. Don't get me wrong, I understand the comparison. It's just... very obvious that people skipped dialogue during Genshin's Archon and story quests.

And it's frustrating because I've been misunderstood in the exact same way. I've been called "rude," "annoying," and "unfeeling" in the past and it's screwed me up. Seeing people do the same thing to a character I so deeply relate to makes me lose confidence in both myself and people around me.

If that's how you view a fictional character with autistic traits, how do you treat real people with the same traits?

What happens to gacha games once the storyline is complete? Say 10 years pass and Genshin Impact or Honkai Impact the 3rd have reached their conclusion. Then someone decided they wanted to pick it up and play it for whatever reason.

Could they? There wouldn't be any more updates, well there wouldn't be reason to, in my opinion. So no more limited time banners or events, well maybe events if they really want to milk these games dry. Would everyone end up having a special 5 star banner where all the limited time characters use intertwined fate? Then, all the others still on the standard banner with acquainted fate?

Because then, it'd be up to post end game players to farm primos despite not having to wait for the next limited character.
