When I was around twelve our family got new next-door neighbors. They were a man, and on weekends his kids would come over.

And one weekend when my father and I were coming back from getting breakfast we saw the kids playing in the parking lot across from their house. They had this remote control car, only it didn’t have the car part and was basically just remote control wheels.

And when we were walking past them I decided to say; “ that is one weird looking dog.” While eyeing their car.

The kids looked at me like I was crazy and it took everything I had to keep from laughing until I got back to my house.

I don’t know why but I felt it necessary to share this story.
