Back on my "drawing Pokemon like real animals" nonsense with Mareep! Shiny ✨ and non-shiny.

I'd like to imagine that baby Mareep work the same way that Vulpix's Pokedex says- that their coats grow in later in more vibrant colors. So for now, little dude is sheared cotton candy.

The goddess of the sun, second born, loves music, and starts the day by listening to lovely fire birds singing outside her window. She sweeps across the sky lazily, amused by the mortals below in their daily plights, waning throughout the day as she bathes everything in golden light. The last remains fade behind the mountain where her lover awaits with open arms.

The god of the moon, the first born, keeps to their stars most of the night. They lay the stars out in constellations for the mortals’ amusement, keeping them company through the night- the rabbit hopping over the lake they overlook is their favorite. Once arranged, they sit outside in the cool night air, feet barely grazing the surface as they dip down into the water. All around are rabbits splotched with the black night sky, their tears given life, little glistening stars reflecting the god’s own paleness like fire licked gems.

-how she currently looks in the book. c: Changed from petals to gems and crystals growing from her coat, and a matching horn. The same baby blue eyes, though, and similar unnatural coat colors.

Part 1 / ??? of drawing animal companions in my books because I think they're cute, and there's a lot of them. -> Pooki !

He had another name before, he's sure, but he doesn't remember the prince ever calling him anything else. He's very curious, and yes, the flowers on his horns are grown naturally-- he's very proud of them! His horns are usually decorated in gold tinsels to match his owner's hair.
