Okay, to start off with, ya'll are so freaky, I swear. I never thought I'd be writing headcanons for this man, but if you ask, than you shall receive.

Spec is a horrible, vile, and downright disgusting man who has no respect for those around him, only using others as a means of entertainment. And that's what you are to him: entertainment, nothing more, nothing less. You aren't someone he loves or cares for, which is why I'm hesitant to even call this yandere, seeing as at least yanderes love their darlings. Sepc doesn't.

If anything, it's more of a sick amusement he gets from terrorizing you daily. He won't go on "dates" with you; no going to the movies, getting you flowers, or going on peaceful walks. Hell no, that's not his speed. Spec needs things to be high-paced, or else he'll get bored, and you don't want that.

When Spec gets bored nothing good happens, if anything, it's as if death follows every step he takes. He wreaks havoc on everything he touches, and don't think you're an exception. No, you've succumbed to his nasty behaviors by the tenth fold, experiencing every twisted, cruel joke he puts upon you.

You'll have your hair pulled, skin pinched, lips bitten, and skirts flipped, there's nothing you can do to escape it. And that's just how Spec wants it. He wants you pliable, wanting to take away every drop of innocence you had before him, practically wringing you dry. You'll be a husk of a person after him, so you better pray that Hanayama gets to him quickly, or else you're screwed.

Spec has no care for you being; he's only using you as a toy, something to distract him while he's in custody. It gets boring just sitting in a cell all day, so he has to occupy his time doing something.

Now, that leads me to both what type of darling Spec would seek, and where/how the two of you would meet. I think that you'd have to either be someone in customer service (like a waitress, McDonald's worker, um something like that).

You likely met Spec once he was in custody, and he had slipped between the police's fingers, wanting to taste defeat or some crap. Now, you didn't know who he was, not at all. You're likely a college student, someone young (possibly a foreigner), so you don't really have time to look at the news, just wanting to make ends meet.

I'm not too sure what the economy is like in Japan, seeing as I don't live there, but I'm just going to go off of where I live. You don't make a lot of money, causing you to be too tired to really care about what's happening around you, so you don't think of it when an abnormally tall foreigner steps into the convenience store. I mean, a customer is a customer, right?

It's not your place to judge, but you can't deny the utter terror you feel when your eyes meet. Something about that man's eyes that seems to send shivers through your body, no matter how brightly he was smiling. If anything, a simple flash of his teeth was closer to the grin of a wolf than the smile of a human.

He wasn't human, you were sure. There's no way he could be, seeing how he had to hunch to walk through the door, or how his head barely scraped the ceiling, or how he was pure muscle. Surely, he would be able to snap your neck with a flick, something so small could kill you.

Quickly you stop yourself from making assumptions, only wanting to get away from this guy as soon as possible. It's possible that he just goes to the gym a lot? People do that, right?

Assuring yourself, that you treat Spec as if he was normal (he isn't), which catches his interest. Usually, Spec would've killed you, left your corpse hanging from the ceiling, but the way you ignored your natural gut feelings to run away caused him to want to pursue you. He'll admit, you have a pretty face, and a cute voice at that.

Spec doesn't mind having a young thing like you hanging off his arm, especially when he's cutting your tongue out and feeding it back to you. Nor does he mind sitting you on his lap, having you look like a pretty doll. It would be nice, seeing your reaction as he snaps your tiny fingers in half, playing with them as if they're twigs.

He's sure he wouldn't mind hearing how high your voice could go, surely he'd be able to get it to a high octave, seeing as he does have a knack for ripping out teeth.

Nothing happens, not yet. Spec, surprisingly, pays and leaves with his pork buns, returning back to the Police Station before they even realized he was gone. But, before long, you'll see the foreigner appearing back in your little store, ordering the same thing every time.

Now, he'll be sparking more and more conversations, learning more about you. Of course, he's not hiding a single thing from you, enjoying the surprised and hesitant expression that flash on your features. You'll think he's joking, he's not.

His compliments are like a double-edged sword, always so simple, but also complicated. You hope he's joking, seeing as every time he touches your hair, it ends with him tugging your head back, whispering that the shade would look far nicer with a red tint. He'll hold your hand, rubbing his calloused thumb over your knuckles, suddenly squeezing tight, and leaning forward. As he looks you in the eyes, he'll say that tiny hands are oh so pretty, but don't you think they'd look perfectly wrapped around his cock, covered in his beading precum?

Spec sure thinks so, and he'll let it known, much to your dismay. Just pray that there's no one else in the shop 'cause he's not afraid to be loud, not stopping for some little girl with her mom. If anything, it's more likely that he'll up his antics, groping you harder and applying more pressure when he touches you, leaving a lasting bruise.

Spec isn't a red flag, motherfucker is a whole ass sign, practically screaming at you to run the other way. When he has his eyes set on you, they're not leaving any time soon. He's going to have his hands on you, wanting to mess with you in every which way. He's going to figure out different ways to contort your body, stretching your legs past your head, and your arms behind your back.

You can't hide yourself from him, there's nowhere you can go that's away from him. He's always going to find you, use you, and take advantage of you in some shape or form. For Spec, your discomfort is his main priority, using you for entertainment when he's bored. That means you'll be subjected to public humiliation, and no one will say anything, far too scared of the 7'3 (ft) giant that's contorting you.

He'll screw with you, slipping your panties when you aren't (or are, doesn't matter to him) looking, causing you to go commando the whole day, especially if you're wearing a skirt. Spec won't leave it at that, he'll take it another step further, snacking his hand up your leg, not giving you a second to comprehend before he shoves two fingers in.

You'll be straddling his lap, legs spread wide, and shirt off, leaving you fully exposed to customers coming into the shop. Of course, he'll be in your face, cooing at how pretty you are, questioning if you're ready for his cock. No, of course you aren't, so he'll have the first person to step into the store to prep you (most likely some guy).

If I missed anything, then please let me know ♡ Bro, I'm so sorry that this is super rushed, seeing as I hit the word limit??? I'm super confused because I barely wrote anything, but whatever. A lot of my headcanons are based around @yandere-writer-momo. Also, sorry for being offline for so long lol, kinda forgot I had Tumblr ngl :/

Okay, to start this off, I think that realistically, it'd be very, very, very hard to get Hanayama's attention. He's shown to be stoic and stone-faced, only showing respect and warmth toward specific people (Baki and Shiba included). And I think it's important to mention that the people he does respect is due to their fighting spirit and/or strength, that or they were there during his childhood (like Kizaki and his mama).

And that's just for him to show basic affection toward them, not even accounting for being loving. For you to catch his attention, I think that you'd have to be either a really strong fighter (meaning having impressive skills of some sort) or have a strong will, either one will work. (Though, a lot of the time, both go hand-in-hand).

When I say a strong will, I don't mean you get up after being punched over and over, instead, it can just be standing up for others. Similar to Katsumi, I can see Hanayama being attracted to a person who's selfless, in the sense that they're brave. Someone who's willing to push through their fear and do it, whatever it is. Now, that catches his attention.

There's a never-ending list of cowards who'll run with their tails between their legs at the sight of discomfort, willing to abandon everything just for their own gain, and Hanayama encounters these men all the time. Let's just say that it gets boring, annoying even. So when you see someone who's spitfire, ready to jump into danger for themselves or others. Now, that's impressive.

Whether or not they can actually carry through doesn't matter too much, it's the fact that they got back up, not letting their dignity lay to rest. Personally, I find that Hanayama would be far more interested in someone who's genuinely acting selfless in this way, acting from the heart.

Going more into his childhood, I think this type is rooted in Hanayma's relationship with his mother. Though I haven't read the manga, from the wiki, I've gained that he was close to his mother, loving her very much. We don't know much about her. Hell, we don't even know her name, but we do know that she was kind.

That's the only information we're given, but even from that, I can make an analysis. From this, I know that Hanayama was likely a Mama's boy, though still being trained to be a Yakuta. I don't mean Mama's boy in the traditional sense, I mean it in the way that she was his peace, his way out of the Yukuta world, his destiny. Being raised in a gangster lifestyle isn't easy, nor is it soft, so just imagine the damage that type of environment can put on a child's brain?

Horrible, huh? So I like to think that Hanayama's mama, before she passed, was far softer to him, giving him some sense of security. this is possibly why he felt such sorrow after she passed, discarding the natural pain we feel when our mama dies (seeing as there's a primal connection we have with our mama, but that doesn't matter too much at the moment).

Hanayama is a very monotone kind of guy, who, I imagine, doesn't like people with some type of alternate motive. Like, y'know how politicians or businessmen talk? Like they're hiding something from you? Yeah, Hanayama loathes those kinds of people, especially if they're trying to pursue him. I belive that he wants someone who'll keep his life steady; be his calm, if you will.

He wants someone who will be upfront, express themselves clearly, and won't keep what they're thinking from you. To him, this is a breath of fresh air. Hanayama is constantly surrounded by lackeys trying to kiss up to him, speaking with a hidden motive (which isn't really hidden in retrospect). If they're not trying to appease them, then they're quacking in their boots, ready to piss themselves.

But you're not like that, no, not at all. You're different. Hanayama can tell, you aren't some coward, instead, you're someone to respect. He can imagine you sitting next to him, all pretty as a Yakuza's wife. Yeah, he likes the sound of that. Well, the only problem is that you don't know who he is, not yet at least.

I imagine that you wouldn't know who Hanayama is, at first, seeing as he never spoke to you. He likely witnessed you acting selfless in some type of way, expressing your kindness by helping a grandma get across the street, something like that.

You didn't notice him, but he sure noticed you. At first, it wasn't anything too special. Hanayama just found you interesting, wanting to see what you'd do next, so he had one or two of his men keep a tab on you--nothing serious. It continues like that for quite a while, and Hanayama learns more and more about you. He knows that you like to sing when you cook, tapping your feet to the beat, and swaying side-to-side. It's cute, he thinks. And Hanayama feels closer to you, as if you know each other, like you're friends.

But then one of his men reports that you're not at home, not following your usual schedule. Instead, you were at some dingy cafe, drinking crappy coffee with another man, some slumbag who looked like he hadn't showered in a hot second. For some reason, which Hanayama doesn't know, he gets ticked off.

Someone as sweet, kind, and damn pretty as you shouldn't associate with someone like him, someone so gross.

He doesn't do anything, no, no yet. It'd be too brash, and too stupid. And Hanayama isn't stupid. No, Hanayama can keep himself composed, now knowing that he needs to get your attention. Afterall, he can't have you running around with other men, not when he's right here! Well... you don't know that, yet.

Few weeks pass, and you've completely forgotten the trashy date you had gone on, but Hanayama hasn't. You begin to notice new outfits appearing in your closet, clothing you certainly didn't have previously. They're far too expensive, too revealing for you to own.

You'll be confused, especially when these dresses, heels, and coats are no longer just appearing, but instead, being presented. Now, instead of being hung up or nicely folded in your closet, they're being laid out on your bed, accompanied by a pretty, black leather box with silk insides. A little note is stuck on top of the shimmering dress, causing you to gulp, looking around as a shiver racks through your body.

Who the hell is buying you a dress? (though, it looks far more like lingerie, seeing as you'd never be able to wear it out in public). You don't know, but you can't help but feel the heat rise to your cheeks as you lift the velvet cloth, feeling the lace slip through your fingers. Once you tried it on, listen, you couldn't help but feel curious, you gawked at how it fit you like a glove, hugging your curves, and accentuating your hips and bust.

It's fucking creepy, that's all you can think, but it gets worse, way worse. Throughout the weeks, you notice more and more gifts show up at your doorstep. The dresses get severely revealing, much to your discomfort. So do the notes. They get too detailed and too accurate to your day-to-day. By now, it's clear that you have a stalker, a rich one at that.

I'd have to say that this is the worst part of being with Hanayama: the courting. It's hella weird! You'll never feel alone, always having someone watching you, mostly Hanayama. He doesn't have his lackeys watching you anymore, seeing as he's far too jealous for that. He doesn't want someone as low at them to see you in such an innocent, vulnerable state. No, that's only for him to see.

Don't be surprised when he shows up at your door, your last hookup's head in hand and a bundle of roses in the other. After all, it's time for you to come home, no?

It's far more likely that he'd kill them the moment they speak your name, cutting them off with his blade (literally and figuratively lol). As a knight, it's been his duty to protect you from everyone and anything that could cause possible harm to the nation's beauty, you.

You don't get to go out often, only to see the public, and make an appearance at a peace treaty or some type of political display, nothing more, nothing less. LoveSick!Knight doesn't let anyone within a five-foot radius of you, not that anyone tries. His arm is always wrapped around your waist, giving you a stare when you take your hand from his.

He's a feared man, renowned for his inhuman strength and ungodly courage, you should be honored to be his betrothed. No sane man would ever think of facing him head-to-head, never. And that's why your father gave his blessing, he knew that LoveSick!Knight would protect you from anyone.

At first, you weren't opposed to the idea, liking the thought of being protected by someone you trust. After all, the two of you have known each other since you both were young, seeing as he was assigned to you when he was just a squire (an impressive feat nonetheless). But as time went on, especially after your marriage, you began to feel your soul drift away, everything that made you you slowly dissipate.

Now, onto the second part of your question, about pregnancy. LoveSick!Knight is clingy whether or not you're pregnant, but seeing you in your natural, pregnant glow just causes his chest to swell with pride. He's far softer with you, not allowing his grip to get too tight, never even thinking of raising a voice toward you.

Before it wasn't abnormal to get yelled at, possibly get slapped around if you've done something horrible, seeing as LoveSick!Knight is quite the authoritarian. But now that childish behavior has vanished, now replaced with a soft, clingy side of LoveSick!Knight that you didn't know existed.

His hand is always on your waist, head tucked into the crook of your neck, pressing soft kisses against your jugular as he rubs up and down your sides. He takes more time off work, wanting to spend more time with you before you go into labor, not trusting any of the handmaidens near your body.

He deficiently won't take you to a hospital (whatever the medieval equivalent is), instead, he'll have to give birth in the comfort of your home tower. And don't think he's leaving you for a moment, nope. LoveSick!Knight is sitting right at your bedside, not letting you have a moment of alone time throughout the labor, wanting to be there with you.

At this time, you'll see a tear roll down his face, something you'd only seen once, and that was at your wedding. This comes as a surprise to you as you thought a man like LoveSick!Knight was anything but a family man. But it seems you're wrong.

Moments like these make LoveSick!Knight realize how God damn strong you are, braving your pregnancy with a strength non of his men could even compete with. Now, here you are, pushing through the contractions, and bringing his child into this world. He can't help but hold you a little tighter afterward, never wanting to let you go. He can't, not after seeing you in such a state. You're so strong. It's as if you're made for him.

I can't imagine LoveSick!Knight giving you any sympathy, if you addimentatly deny your role, being a good wife, and amazing mama, as he says. He'll never hit you, not when you're pregnant, at least. He doesn't want this future heir to be injured, after all, seeing as your nation wouldn't take kindly to some deformed kid as their next ruler.

He'll lock you away, keeping you in a tower, far, far, far away from anyone's hands. Well, it's not too different from what you're used to, seeing as the king had raging paranoia, and thought hiding you in a tower would keep you out of trouble. Little did he know that the one thing he should be scared of was right next to you; he just pushed you into the wolf's jaws.

But it's okay, he knows that you're just a silly, little, dumb princess who can't think for herself, it's okay. He can do it for you :)

Now, going back to LoveSick!Athlete, I'd like to point out that ghosting him won't work, not at all. You cannot escape the team's sweetheart, after all. He's everywhere, knowing exactly where you are right when you need him (don't ask why there's suddenly an app on your phone, just ignore it. It's probably not important.)

I'm sorry to tell you this, but there's no way you'll be able to overpower LoveSick!Athlete, especially when morning sickness is hitting so hard. Don't worry, he's there to hold your hair out of your face, rubbing tight circles on your back. If you were to try to hit him, kick him, or anything of the sort. He'll just restrain you, simple.

Growing up with a mama like his, LoveSick!Athlete was told to never, ever, hit a girl, he was beaten if he ever did. There's no way he'd ever lash out at you, so the only alternative is holding you tight until you've let all your frustration out.

LoveSick!Athlete is pure lean muscle, definitely, something to write home about. He's more similar to a wall than a man, and there's no way you're going to get him off of you. Not that'd he ever force himself on you, but he could if he wanted to. You're just so small, so defenseless against him.

I'm not going to lie, out of the two, I'd stick with LoveSick!Athlete, but I supposed there's no getting out of it. Both are extremely clingy, and paranoid, wanting to know how you're feeling, where you are, why'd you take so long in the shower? Were you trying to escape? Is the window locked? Is there any way you can get out? Well, now he has to patrol the apartment/tower for any cracks or unlocked windows, having to make sure that you're safe and sound. He doesn't want his sweet darling to wander off, after all, not when you're swollen with his baby.

𝙆𝙖𝙞𝙤𝙝 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙨𝙪 𝙔𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙣𝙨

Warnings; bad writing, really ooc, not proofread stalking, me rambling, manipulation, pretty short, I'm 90% sure that this isn't really yandere, but whatever. If I missed anything, then please let me know ♡ Pssh, what kind of question is that? Of course, I want to write for Retsu! I'm just really happy that someone requested something from baki... Anyway, I hope you enjoy! If you have any questions/suggestions, then feel free to ask!!

I find Retsu to be a very, very intriguing character, seeing as he's had so much development throughout the series. Not only that but when you look just at his past, you'll find that he's adapted and changed so much from his younger years. Restu has multiple different layers to his character, as most Baki men do, but I find that there are a lot of contradictions in his personality, which I'll get into why I think that is. But let's start from what we know because we have to establish what kind of man Restu is before we decide what kind of yandere he is (I also just like to talk lol).

We don't know too much about Restu's past, but we do know that he grew up in the temple, with no mention of any parents. I like to think that his mama (or both parents) just left him at the temple for whatever reason, the possibilities are truly endless. It doesn't matter too much, as Retsu's never shown to care too much for discussing his unknown parents, seeing as he holds his sensei/s in high regard.

I like to think that Retsu considers the martial arts his family; what comforts him when he's distraught or doesn't know what to do. Not having a family, someone to rely on, can cause a person's mental health to be warped. And that's why we always substitute it for something else, whether it be a father/mother figure, a sport, a job, or a lover. Whatever it is, we use it as a substitution for the emotional stability parents are supposed to give us (not saying that they always do).

And this is why I hypothesize that the martial arts is Retsu's substitution. He was conditioned to rely on it, to think of it as a way of life. Therefore, he doesn't rely on other people for emotional support, instead, turning to martial arts to lead the way, y'know?

Martial arts have consumed his life, taking control of his mind, and everyday activities. There's never a moment in the day where he isn't either actively practicing or thinking of it. There's nothing else he can think about, seeing as he was raised to; it's ingrained in his psyche.

This leads to a dead social life. Unless they're fellow fighters or some type of service worker, Retsu doesn't go out often and doesn't enjoy the company of others. This is partially because I think he's more of an introvert or never at places where he can make many friends. Don't get me wrong, he has allies, (After all, we can't forget when Shibukawa punched Musashi for Retsu), but do they do "friend things," y'know? I don't think they just hang out together or things of that nature.

And don't even get me started on Retsu with women, god. You can't convince me that he'd be a flustered mess if a woman ever took interest in him. It's not like he's some shy babygirl-type character, hell no, he's a badass, but he doesn't interact with women, growing up in a temple surely didn't help.

There likely weren't any women at the temple, unless they were there to clean or something (don't @ me, I have no clue), meaning there's no experience there. He's a fighter. Let's be honest, not many women are actively interacting with the fighters. Sure, they'll attend the fights and crap, but I don't think that it's often the fighters are being approached unless they're in a club or bar. Which I don't think Retsu is doing.

Now going back to the original point, Retsu is unbearable with women (if they're flirting). I don't think Retsu can't speak to them. He just can't flirt. He doesn't know how to handle romantic interest from a woman. If you were to hold his hand, kiss his cheek, or touch him in any way. His face would flush, and his eyes would widen. If you were to compliment him, I'd imagine him bowing or trying to maintain respect for you.

I can't really imagine too many ways you'd meet Restu, but it'd probably be with him swooping into your rescue (figuratively or literally). It could be that you were getting harassed, and he escorted you out of the situation, or you could've been struggling with picking something up (like groceries, a box, or something similar). I can even see that you're his new neighbor, and you bring him some food to introduce yourself (I like this idea the most, so we're going to roll with this one).

Assuming you meet Retsu through being his neighbor, you'll be able to grow a more organic relationship, seeing as you two see each other every day. I like to imagine that you'd bring him some sweets or something to introduce yourself, and Retsu will quickly rebut it by inviting you over for dinner, as a way to show his gratitude for the gift.

From there, you're relationship will subtly grow more and more, advancing from neighbors to close friends. You'll begin to notice that you're feeling eyes on you like someone is watching you. It's as if Retsu's always there now, somehow knowing where you are. He'll begin to show up at your local grocery store, but you'll brush it off. After all, you're neighbors, of course, you'll both attend the same stores! But then you'll see him at your work, subtly passing by right as your shift ends, stopping you to chat and walk you home. It's a little odd, you think, but Retsu's so considerate! He just wants to ensure your safety! There's nothing to worry about.

I think that Retsu will quickly realize that he's growing an attachment to you, as I think that he's the most emotionally aware man in the series. He knows that he became a little too attached, a little too paranoid over your being. But Retsu would rationalize it by telling himself that he's taking care of you, watching out for you, you, you.

He'll always be there for you. Whatever you need is did and done. You need someone to walk you home 'cause you're too scared to go alone, don't worry Retsu can do that for you, no problem. You're sick and need someone to take care of you? Pssh, not even a question. Retsu doesn't mind; he'll even bring over some herbal tea from his motherland. Oh, and don't even think about opening a door for yourself, nope. Don't worry, Retsu's there. He's such a gentleman, always there for you, conveniently knowing where you are at all times.

You have to understand that there are a lot of people who are out for Retsu, and by proxy, you. Retsu has to make sure you're safe and sound. No one can lay a finger on you, so just stay where he can see you, yeah? He'd never do anything to hurt you. He's always had your best interest in mind, making sure you're well-fed, properly clean, and having the attention you need, so just trust him, okay?

Don't mind him cutting all of your friends out of your life. They were just too toxic, leaving you out of everything, talking behind your back, so you should just let them go. And for your family? Well, they've been manipulating you into thinking that they want what's good for you, but you just don't realize how harmful they've been to you, don't you? It's okay, Retsu will help you. He can see how horrible they are.

Little do you know, this whole time Retsu has been threatening, cutting off, and hoarding you all for himself. He can't trust anyone with your safety. For all he knows, they could harm you, could take you away from him. He can't let them do that; he cares for you too much. You understand, surely, he's just looking out for you, so just turn the other way and do as he says.

Don't worry, he's going to handle everything.

Okay, right now I'm cooking up some more headcanons for Baki the Grappler men, but I just couldn't keep this idea cooking in my brain.

Throughout history, in multiple ancient civilizations, touching one's forehead with one's own has shown different means, all deep and personal. For example, the Maori, natives of New Zealand, have/had a formal greeting where one would press their nose and forehead against the other's forehead. This was a sign of respect and sharing a spiritual connection. Not only that, but in Ancient Egypt, it was a tradition for the Paraoh and High Priests to press their foreheads to the dead, sharing a spiritual link that would hopefully help the dead through the afterlife.

Honestly, the list goes on and on, just proving my point. No matter where you are in the world, it's clear that something about the closeness of the faces while in such a position is special, vulnerable even. And, I'd have to assume, this would carry through to times before human civilization, to a time when we were more animal than human, back to Pickle's time.

At this time, there was no such thing as verbal communication, rather than grunts and growls, so they (assuming that there were other cavewo/men during this time) had only physical communication to observe. Now, it's my belief that there was no such thing as polyamory during Pickle's time, instead, there was mating for life. You found your one, the person you'd raise a family with and protect. This is why Pickle takes your safety seriously, not letting any of the fighters within a ten-foot radius of you (likely more, if we're being honest).

There's no way he'll let any man near you. You're his mate, whether you understand that or not doesn't matter; the look in his eyes tells you enough, accepting that you have no say in the matter.

Besides that, I think that Pickle, seeing as he can't communicate verbally, would show his affection through his actions, providing food, warmth, and protection is his means of love. He'll curl his body around your, much smaller, frame and hold you tight, not letting you slip from his grip for a moment, far too afraid of losing you. He's much like a possessive puppy once his owner comes home, except he's far more deadly than some pup.

Back to the forehead thing, since Pickle can't say 'I love you,' he has to resort to other ways to say so. One of these ways, I think, would be pressing his forehead against yours, letting his eyes close shut, and bringing your body closer to his.

The two of you will be far closer than necessary, his arms wrapped around your head, his hold suffocating. Of course, Pickle will have to be on his knees, bending down to reach your level. The two of you will share air, inhaling the others' exhalations. Though uncomfortable, you admire and are astonished at how trusting Pickle is in you, seeing as his eyes are closed and his muscles loose. Everything about him screams comfortable, homey, and in love.

The action displays trust, exposing such a vulnerability would be dangerous in any situation, but Pickle trusts you, knowing you're his mate, the one person he can trust in this cruel world. He's been brought into this odd place, where nothing's the same, and he's constantly being introduced to new friends, but he's found you. Your presence allows him to relax and understand that, though he's in a new world, he has you, his mate. (I especially see this being true if reader's a reincarnation or was brought back with Pickle, y'know?)

And it does nothing but shock the other fights, unable to comprehend how a monster of a man like Pickle could seem so calm, so at home, around someone like you (whether you're a cavewo/man, civilian, or fighter). It's incredible, the bond you two have for each other, how just a look from you can calm Pickle.

Anyway, it's just a thought, y'know?

Awwww, I'm so glad that my other characters are growing on you! I seems that LoveSick!Athlete is still the fan favorite, though I'm hoping that will change 'cause LoveSick!Bimbo is so cute (in my opinion)!!!

Anyway, I feel that for the majority of the LoveSick!Characters, wouldn't mind not having children with their darling, especially when reader doesn't want to have them. Half of them don't want kids or just don't care too much about them. LoveSick!Friend and LoveSick!Bimbo falls under this line of not wanting children, and I think they'd be content with just being aunties or just having you.

I feel like we have to keep in mind that they are yandere, meaning that they are obsessed with you. Like, literally, they love you no matter what, and they don't mind keeping you for themselves for the rest of your lives.

Now, for characters like LoveSick!Poet, I think that he'd be a little heartbroken, not because he wanted children, but because he feels as if he pressured you with his trauma. LoveSick!Poet did not have a good childhood, and it caused him to develop a poor self-image. And in return, he doesn't want children, in fear of becoming his father, so when you confess that you don't want children, he thinks that he's projected his personal feelings onto you.

But this obviously isn't true, you just don't want children. That's the thing with LoveSick!Poet though. He is hyperaware and is constantly overthinking, so no matter what you say he'll go on and on about how it's your decision, and that he doesn't want to force anything onto you.

And for LoveSick!Artist, I don't think I have to get to him because he, himself, doesn't want children, so he'd be pleased that you're on the same page. It would be difficult for him if his darling wanted children, seeing as he doesn't, like at all. Overall, I think it wouldn't even be a topic for LoveSick!Artist.

Now, moving onto the menaces, LoveSick!Athlete is far more puppy-like than LoveSick!Knight, who's quite violent and overly aggressive toward everyone.

I've kind of touched on LoveSick!Athlete and pregnancy in this post. Overall, I think that you didn't want children, then, at first, LoveSick!Athlete would accept it, telling you that it's all good, babe, we're so young after all.

But that's at the beginning of your relationship, where he's censoring himself so that you'll be more comfortable with him, not wanting to scare you off so quickly. He'll hide his need from you, ignoring the burning desire in the pit of his stomach whenever he sees you hold a little babe. He'll smile throughout it all, only giving you subtle hints, ones that you won't realize until it's far too late. But as the months go pass and as soon as your relationship gets physical, he's on you.

Now, the two of you are having arguments on whether or not he can go raw. You say no; he says yes. You'll practically give him a whole biology lesson, going on about how it's not safe, even though you're on the pill, but he'll just repudiate it. After all, don't you trust me, babe? I've always pulled out, I can do it again, don't worry. You just have to trust me.

If you're still persistent, he'll just poke holes in the condom, small little pricks will do the trick. A little hole won't do anything, right? You'll notice, obviously, because who wouldn't notice the warm rush you get in your stomach? You'll look up at him, eyes widened in worry and panic. Your mind will begin to spin, flooding with thoughts of all kinds.

You'll pat LoveSick!Athlete's shoulder, trying to get him to pull out, and he'll just tilt his head to the side, furrowing his brows. Of course, he knows what you're panicking about, but he feigns innocence, saying that it must've broke, sweets! Shit, it's okay, I'm sure nothing will happen...

And all you can do is trust him, hoping that what he's saying is true. After all, it's not like he'd ever do anything like that, right? He would never cross that boundary... right?

It'll be like that for months, constant broken condoms, and missing birth control. You'll begin to panic, doubting yourself because how the hell is you're the whole package of pills gone? As for the condoms, you'll begin to buy some yourself, thinking that LoveSick!Athlete must just be buying some crappy brand or something, little do you know that that was never the case.

Moving onto LoveSick!Knight, he'll be a lot less sneaky, not fearing pushing your boundaries whatsoever. He has full control over you, and he knows this full well. He has your father, the king, wrapped around his finger, besides, wouldn't the queen be glad to know that she's expecting grandbabies soon? Yes, she would.

If you don't want children, you don't really have a choice in the matter. Though it would take a long while before he'd ever physically force himself onto you, the peer pressure would settle in far quicker. The whole nation is expecting a child from your marriage. Your father, mama, siblings, lady-in-waiting, everyone is waiting for the announcement.

It keeps you awake at night, pondering over whether or not there's something wrong with you. It's your duty as the next queen, and current princess, to provide an heir to the throne. How could you deprive your people of that right? How could you keep the right of fatherhood from LoveSick!Knight?

Now, if you magically push through the pressure to have a child (you must be some type of superhuman), then you'll be subjected to LoveSick!Knight and his cruel actions. I have no doubt that he'd babytrap you, wanting to lock you with him forever.

Seeing as there's no such thing as condoms or birth control, you have no way of preventing a pregnancy, rather than celibacy. Obviously, LoveSick!Knight won't let you keep your body from him, pressuring you to succumb to your "wifely duties." It's only a matter of time before you get pregnant, seeing as LoveSick!Knight isn't holding back whatsoever, stuffing you full of him, him, him.

Okay, now that I've established Jack's background and overall interactions with reader, like how their initial meeting was, etc, we can now get into what it's actually like with Jack once you've known him.

Jack isn't obsessive necessarily, like how Katsumi or Ali Jr are, instead he's more so protective, possessive even. Since the two of you have gotten close, he's realized that he doesn't want you to leave him. You can't leave. This is the first time he's ever felt such an attachment for someone, felt such emotions for someone.

Throughout his life, he's always been determined on one goal: defeating his father. And he's never even given a second thought to some woman or to having a family. Nope, it's never even crossed his mind, but seeing you with another man just doesn't sit right with him, seeing you converse and smile with someone else. It just makes his hand itch, feeling the need to punch someone creep up his neck.

That smile belongs to him, him, him. You're only supposed to smile at him. He only smiles around you, so shouldn't it be the same for you? Why do you seem so close to this guy? He looks like a stick, Jack's sure that he could snap him in two, no doubt. He could take care of you far better than this shrimp ever could.

Much like an animal, Jack gets territorial over what he's deemed to be his, and you're his, don't you understand? Jack will begin to take up all your time, conveniently interrupting any dates that you have with another man. He'll show up to wherever the two of you are and loom over the man, silently telling the twig to buzz off. Of course, the other wouldn't stick around, too scared to face the beast of a man Jack is.

But you being you notice how you can't keep a single man, that isn't Jack, around no longer than a week. You'll begin to get skeptical. Not necessarily questioning Jack because it's too early to make assumptions, but you're keeping an ear out for any odd behavior.

Anyways, moving on to another headcanon.

I don't think Jack would be very touchy in public, clearly not too comfortable showing such vulnerability around others. Jack won't hug you, won't kiss you, and won't hold your hand. If anything, he acts like he's a stranger, someone you've never spoken a word to, but that's far from the truth. You know this.

And you don't need the PDA, you're fine. You can tell by how he looks at you, how his honey-brown eyes seem to soften ever so slightly, barely noticeable. It's as if he's speaking a thousand words with just one look, and this is the pillar of your relationship. The two of you are connected on a different level, though you both view this connection differently.

Like most Baki men, this is where the yandere tendencies come in. I feel that the majority of Baki men would be able to have a healthy relationship with someone, but it's when their feelings are reciprocated is when everything goes downhill. It's when they're devalued as a man and completely ignored, being pushed aside just to be chosen for someone else.

This is where Jack's possessive tendencies appear, seeing you with other people just sets him off, especially when he perceives you as undervaluing the connection you two have. I think that Jack would have to have a special type of relationship with you for him to become "yandere." He'd have to see you bonding with others, bonding the same way you did with him. This will surely make him feel as if you're using him (you're not), and that your relationship with him isn't special.

Once a sliver of doubt has seeped into his mind, all sane thoughts are out the window. Now, he's running on his instincts, and they're telling him to take you away to somewhere safe, somewhere where the two of you can be together, forever.

At first, when these thoughts pop up, he's in denial, his rational coming into play, and telling him to not do anything too crazy. Sometimes, it's hard to do so, especially when he sees you interact with others, laughing, and smiling with other fighters. How can you be so open with others? Treat other men so kindly when he can't even look at a woman without thinking of you?

What do they have that he doesn't? No, he has more. He knows when you look at him that he's your one and only, he can tell. The way your eyes glimmer and scrunch up when you smile, the smile lines becoming more apparent.

He can't let go of you now; he's in too deep; he's far too stubborn to give up now. The two of you are bonded, in his eyes. You understand him, and he understands you. You've just gone a little astray, don't worry he'll help you, just like you did with him.

Throughout his whole life, his only goal was to avenge his mother and bring back her honor, hoping to achieve this by defeating his father, Yuujirou Hanma. Jack, himself, has stated multiple times throughout the show that he has no interest in women, money, or fame, only wanting to achieve his goal of revenge. This obviously means that he has no experience with women, and unlike Kastumi, it's by choice. He doesn't want to fall in love.

I think that Jack doesn't believe in love, that it's something that's fake and fabricated to appease another. There's no such thing as love at first sight and wanting to hold someone for comfort and not just to get off. These thoughts are so out of Jack's worldview that he sees them as just fiction that others' are pathetic enough to believe.

And, adding to that, I think that Jack would have a hard time understanding Baki and his relationship with Kozue. Baki and Kozue have been there for each other, showing true love, something that Jack's never had. Jack eventually learns to respect Baki, after some trial and error throughout the series, but he can't seem to understand why someone like Baki would believe in something as fictional as love.

Moving on from that, I think that Jack's childhood developed this sense of disgust toward love and just being vulnerable in general. I mean, imagine being born to a woman who was raped by the man she was supposed to kill, that's obviously not going to be the best childhood.

I can't imagine that Diane, Jack's mama, would ever show him such motherly love that's expected from a mama to her son. I think that's partially because of how Jack was conceived and her personality. Diane, whether it was a part of her persona as 'Jane' or not, was portrayed as a cold woman who had little regard for human life, and I can't see how she'd ever show warmth toward Jack when he was young.

While we don't know much about Jack's childhood or what happened to Diane later on in her life, I'm assuming that she never pursued relations with any other man, seeing as Yuujiro's actions caused her such distress. This means that Jack never grew up with a father figure present in his life, rather than his absent father, Yuujiro.

I'd assume that Diane would never speak nicely of Yuujiro, seeing as he raped her, and it was her original intention to kill him. Because children are like sponges, Jack probably absorbed all of Diane's hatred and general negativity towards his father, as he should, and internalized this anger.

Overall, Jack's situation growing up left no room for him to experience what love looked like, in a healthy manner. He never had parents who lead a good example, keeping him in the dark about any positives of being in a relationship. And that's what I think the root is for his distaste for being vulnerable, and the idea of being in a relationship with another.

Not only that, but I think that his mama's rape only caused Jack to view sex in a negative light, seeing that's how he was conceived. Now, I don't think that Jack is repulsed by sex in general, but I just think that he doesn't find it as welcoming (?) as other men would. I'm not too sure how to phrase it, but it's just not appealing to him, compared to most men.

However, that changes when he meets you, you, you.

There's no such thing as 'love at first sight' to Jack. He has to know a person for a year or so before he even considers having a lengthy conversation with them, where he actually puts a little effort into speaking with them. Jack's a very closed-off individual who has severe trust issues, as most figures do, and he can't open up to someone he's known for a short time.

This means that for you to catch his attention, that means that there's something special that he saw, whether you notice it or not doesn't matter. Jack saw something in you. Maybe it was how transparent you were, possibly your wisdom, it doesn't matter too much.

Though I do see Jack enjoying a partner who's similar to a therapist, someone with a lot of advice to give, someone with a shit ton of wisdom. An observer would be a good fit for Jack, they don't have to be studious or very loud, and he doesn't mind either. It's just that he needs someone who can read him easily because Jack has his own language of sorts (@yandere-writer-momo has discussed this in some of her posts).

It's odd because Jack is oh so blunt, but he holds back whenever it comes to his emotions, wanting to avoid being vulnerable. He doesn't hesitate to threaten someone or tell them that he doesn't like him, he doesn't have a problem with that. But whenever he finds you pretty, or likes the dress you're wearing, even if he thinks you're not taking care of yourself, he'll always phrase it in a "brutish" way.

Instead of saying "Your hair looks nice today" or "Have my jacket, you look cold," instead, he'll say "Did you do something to your hair? It doesn't look like shit today" or "You're built like a stick, you should work out more" as he hands you his jacket (more so throwing it over your shoulders and walking away).

And that's why he needs someone who can read through his insulting behavior, knowing that he's just shielding himself from appearing weak. Being observant is a requirement to having a successful relationship with Jack, and possibly with most of the men in Baki. All of them are so emotionally constipated, that they need someone who can read them like a book to actually have a progressive relationship.

Because of your ability to allow him to open up without words he knows attached, always thinking about you, you, you. He needs to protect you, the one person who understands him on a different level than everyone else. You're able to calm him down with a simple nod, practically telling him that you understood what he was trying to say. You don't just see him as the son of Yuujiro Hanma or as the man who's ruined his body with steroids and intense training techniques, instead, you see him as Jack.

The initial attraction he had toward you, when you first crossed paths, was more superficial than what I was talking about in the previous paragraph. It's most likely a simple case of curiosity that drew him to you. You somehow stood apart from others, causing his eyes to drift to you every time he scanned a crowd. It's possible that you were overly positive, keeping a smile on your face no matter what, or you were oddly quiet, silently observing everyone.

It could've just been your looks that made you attractive! Though Jack is emotionally stunted, even he can appreciate a nice piece of ass!

Either way, throughout the time and as your relationship progresses, the more you two talk, the more he begins to respect your character. Jack begins to see you for who you are and understands that you see him the way he sees you. (sorry that was a confusing sentence lol)

I'm not too sure if any of you have seen the movie Avatar, but in the movie, they use the phrase 'I see you,' and I think that it fits Jack's personality perfectly. It's more than love to Jack, and he likely doesn't even comprehend that it's love in the first year or so. It's something deeper than that, it's understanding each other on a primal level. Jack doesn't just understand your body and how it moves, or what to do to get it going, he understands how you think, and how you feel. But not in a weird way, in a loving way, y'know?

The two of you are like other halves, you'd have to be for Jack to pursue you. Jack has to know that you're meant for him. He's never even considered dating another person, let alone revealing himself to someone else.

Okay, he clearly wants kids. I've said this multiple times in separate posts, even dedicating one to how good he is with kids. He comes from a family with a lot of cousins, and he has three younger siblings, making him take the role of a father-like figure. He's always been around kids, always cared for them, and he's seen both good and bad marriages. He wants what his mama has now, with his third husband. They're so happy, and he wants that for himself and his future wife, you. He wants to take care of you, providing for you so that you two can have multiple children.

The moment you met him, whether in your childhood or at uni, he immediately knew that you two were meant to be. There was something about you that he knew he liked. He knew that you'd be the mama of his future children, to whom he's already given names. He's dreamed about what your name would sound like with his last name accompanying it. Whether or not you were a good cook, maybe you'd want him to cook. He wouldn't mind; he could teach you if you didn't know. Man, the things he'd do for you are insane.

He just wants to keep you safe, to show you that he can be the man of your dreams. Someone you care for, the same way he'd care/cares for you. LoveSick!Athlete can be everything you could hope for and dream, baby! Just give me a chance, I can show you what your future could be, with me. Imagine how cute our kids would be, yeah? That'd have your eyes, no doubt ;)

𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙎𝙞𝙘𝙠!𝙋𝙤𝙚𝙩

Let's just say that LoveSick!Poet has a difficult relationship with children. He didn't have any siblings growing up, and had no cousins, either. He was left all alone, no one wanted to be with him on the playground. He never had friends and knows firsthand how mean kids can be. LoveSick!Poet has a dull image of the world, and he's not too sure if he wants to bring another life into it, seeing how horrible it's been to him. Who says that his kid won't suffer the same fate of horrible bullying and teasing from his peers? Who says that he'd be a good parent? What if he turned into his father?

Now, that last thought keeps LoveSick!Poet up at night. He's had nightmares of hitting you, or some imaginary kid the two of you would have. He's always thought that he'd be too weak to have kids, not able to provide and protect them the way he'd want to. He wouldn't be a good role model, and he constantly second-guesses how good of a person he is.

He's killed people. Of course, it was for you, but that doesn't change the fact that he has blood on his hands. LoveSick!Poet has a horrible self-image, and it worsens if you ever bring up the idea of children. Whenever he's in your presence, he feels as if he stands next to a goddess. Someone who is supposed to be worshiped. He loves you, truly, but he's just not too sure if either of you is ready for the commitment of bringing another life into this world, my-my dear. What if I'm not what you hope-hoped for? I'm a ba-ba-bad person, and you're my muse. Y-you truly de-deserve someone who'd be able to live to your standards, my heart...

𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙎𝙞𝙘𝙠!𝘽𝙞𝙢𝙗𝙤

Honestly, she's never even thought of it. But if you were to ask her, she wouldn't say no. LoveSick!Bimbo has always been good with kids, as they're so cute and squishy! They're just cute little munchkins, in her eyes. They're just the cutest!

Whenever she sees a kid, she just wants to squish their cheeks and hug them really tight, but her thoughts end there. She's never thought about being a mama, though she wouldn't mind. Both you and her are pursuing separate careers, and she's confident that she'd be able to provide for you, though she prefers to be taken care of. If needed, she doesn't mind stepping up and going out into the business world, for you, of course.

I can't imagine her wanting to get pregnant herself, or for you, instead, I think she'd want to adopt. Ever since she was a little girl, she thought adopting was just super sweet. Who wouldn't want to give a child in need a home? She would, no doubt love giving a little girl a home. She'll squeal and want to dress her up, trying to decide if she would wear this dress or this one? EEK, this is so hard to choose! Baby! This dress compliments her eyes, but this one has a cute hat!!! Awww, I love both:(((

Meh, she's 50/50 on this topic. LoveSick!Friend doesn't have any feelings whatsoever about children, even when she sees one. She doesn't think they're cute, or annoying, or anything. Not one single thought.

If you really want kids, she'd honestly know before you even do. She'd know that this conversation was coming from a mile away, she's your best friend after all; she knows everything about you. It's like she's your second half, meaning she knows what you're thinking, everything. She knows you want kids, or don't want kids. And she'd think long and hard what her answer would be.

Does she want kids? Would she be a good mama? Does she make enough money? What process would you two use? Would you adopt? Let's just say she's an overthinker. She can't help but wonder what you'd want. She thinks that adoption would be the preferred method, seeing as you give a child a home. The more she thinks about it, the more it grows on her.

The only thing is her job. Before she says yes to everything, she makes sure that you've done everything you've wanted (like traveling and such), not that you couldn't do that with children. It's just that it makes things 10x harder, and she just wants to make sure that you're content with going to the next level. She'll sit you down, asking you if you're 100% sure you want to do this, babe? I don't want to pressure you into anything, but I think a little us would be nice, no?

𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙎𝙞𝙘𝙠!𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩

Absolutely not, nope. He does not want children whatsoever. He's never felt the need to get you pregnant and never will. LoveSick!Artist is repulsed by the idea of children. Ever since he was a teenager, and even younger, he's never liked the idea of having a child. There's so gross, and messy, and loud, and annoying-

Okay, you get it, he hates them. Though he won't deny that the idea of you loving him so much to the point of wanting to have his babies and alter both your body and life so much, is appealing and makes his heart clench. Don't get me wrong, it's not your fault whatsoever. You're not the problem, it's the idea of children themselves that is.

In LoveSick!Artist's mind, they'll just get in his way. They'll mess up his paintings, and just get on his nerves. He doesn't need to have a kid with you to prove his love and devotion. His own person is enough, he thinks. And, expanding on this idea, LoveSick!Artist just believes that they'll take you away from them. Instead of having your attention and words focused on him, now they are directed toward some kid? Yeah no, not happening any time soon. He doesn't need you to get distracted by some kid, especially when you should be looking at him, him, him.

𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙎𝙞𝙘𝙠!𝙆𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩

Yes, yes, and yes. He wants children, for a multitude of different reasons. One of them being the power he holds over you when you're pregnant. You're oh so pliant, and so easy to manipulate. There's nothing you can do when you're round with his child. You look so beautiful when you tug on his tunic, giving him puppy eyes as you beg him to carry you; your feet being too swollen to walk. You're relying on him, him, him.

Don't worry, Darling. He'll help you, just like a good husband should 'cause that's what you are, after all, his pretty little wife. Someone he can have control over and keep safe. That's his duty as your knight, your loyal companion that was assigned to you when he was just a squire. It's the purpose of his life, to provide for you, and take care of you. Of course, your father never thought it'd be in this way, making you his wife, and having you bare his children. But he can't complain, LoveSick!Knight keeps you well-fed, and he's a respectable man in the world of elites. Your father just brushes off your tear-stained cheeks or the oddly hand-shaped bruise on your arm. He's taking care of you, there's nothing to worry about. He's your husband after all.

Though, LoveSick!Knight won't deny how cute children are. Their squishy cheeks, soft skin, and big eyes are quite appealing, especially when they're the perfect combination of the two of you, the ultimate sign of his love for you. It makes his heart swell, watching his son latch onto your nipple, seeing you care for your children pleases him fully. Not only that, but you're continuing your lineage of blue blood, though it's been tainted by his commoner DNA. He pays no mind to that, rationalizing it as destiny. You're meant to be with him, and no one can convince him otherwise.

Throughout the series, Katsumi is shown to be loyal to those he deems close and important to him. One of these people is Karate (I suppose, it's a thing, but whatever). Even when faced with people he respects, like Retsu, he refuses to give it up, to deny the power it has. This is shown during the tournament saga where Retsu demands that Katsumi admit that Chinese Kenpō is superior to Karate, of course, he denies it.

Now, what does this say about Katsumi? Well, it shows that when he feels loyalty towards someone/something, he'll cling to it and fight for it until his last breath. Katsumi is strong-willed, and never gives in without a fight; he fights for others' honor. He's been shown to have a vengeance streak, where he'll seek out those he's deemed to have defamed the people he holds dear to him.

He's very smooth with his words and has a boyish charm to him, allowing you to drop your guard when you really shouldn't. His sheepish smile and constant cocky appeal cause you to feel relaxed and underestimate him, forgetting that he's a dangerous man who could snap you in half with his pinky. It's really too easy for him to find where you live, sneak into your apartment, and watch you. All without you noticing; how sweet of you. You don't even realize that Katsumi has grown so attached, not noticing how close he sticks to your side or how his eyes darken whenever you talk to Retsu or Katou (if he ever comes around).

I can imagine Katsumi with most types of darlings, but I think he'd lean towards darlings who are a Good Samaritan. How they show that empathetic behavior solely depends on their personality. You don't have to be energetic and bubbly to be a good person and to help others, instead, you can be quiet and timid. You can be a little colder, but as long as you're willing to step in and help others when they're in need, even if you might put yourself in danger, Katsumi will ultimately find you attractive and court you.

I think that the empathetic characteristic is the root of his attraction, seeing you be so kind and caring just makes his heart swell. He knows you're a good person, and that's what makes you so attractive. Well, you're appearance is also a key factor, but ignore that.

Katsumi just wants someone selfless and willing to put themselves on the line for others, no matter if they know the person or not, as he knows that they'd make a good partner, a good mama. That's ultimately Katsumi's goal in life: to have a family. I subscribe to the headcanon that Katsumi has a breeding kink and he loves children; I don't care what anybody says.

There's no doubt in my mind that he's a loverboy who just wants someone to love, but things go wrong when that love isn't recognized or reciprocated. Not only that, but Katsumi's love can be... overbearing, to say the least. He can get a little too excited, especially when he's around you. And that's when his boyish nature comes in. He becomes too aggressive with his courting tactics (this is similar to Ali Jr. and Baki, me thinks).

These three guys, especially Katsumi, have been shown to be a little blinded by arrogance and their youth (not saying that other characters, who are older, haven't). They're all in their early twenties, and Katsumi being twenty in the Pickle saga, meaning they don't have a lot of experience with women.

Now that we're on the topic of experience, I think that Katsumi has been on dates with women, talked to women, and flirted with women. I mean, look at him. He's attractive, both physically and emotionally, and he's in the prime of his life. Not only that, but he's the adoptive son of Doppo Orochi, though I doubt that matters to most girls, but whatever. This means that he's got money, a lot of it. Doppo's wealth has been reiterated throughout the series that Katsumi is a spoiled kid, and I see that point.

So there's no denying that girls are attracted to him, and I think Katsumi isn't afraid to go up to women; he's quite charismatic. But why doesn't he have a girl? I think that's partially because of his dedication to his martial arts, making it difficult to maintain a relationship, and most girls wouldn't stick around for that. Now, that factor wipes out half of his dating pool, making it difficult for him to have anything but a one-night stand or a few dates.

He can't help but long for someone deeper, long for someone who truly cares for him. Katsumi wants someone who needs him, and relies on him to be provided for, and cared for. He wants to be acknowledged for his hard work, how calloused his hands are, and how good of a leader he strives to be. He just wants someone who'd be his cheerleader, someone who'd support him the way he'd support them.

This drive and desperate need for someone causes him to act irrationally when he finally finds someone even close to his dreams. It doesn't matter where or when you meet, whether it's before or after he's lost his arm, as long as he feels that recognition, he's lovestruck.

(This is where I go off on a tangent, I'm so sorry)

I've read a book called Blink, by Malcolm Gladwell, and it's all about humans and how we think as a species. He goes on and on about this thing called thin slicing. Thin slicing is an ability that all humans have, something we've developed through years of evolution, and it's the ability to make a split-second decision (on a situation or person) based off of little information. According to Gladwell, we do this every day. Thin slicing is fueled by our fight or flight response, more so whether or not we fight, fight, or freeze.

Gladwell says that the moment we make eye contact with someone, or speak a singular word with someone, we've already decided whether or not we like them or not, whether or not we'll befriend them. In multiple studies, Gladwell cites, he says that you can determine whether or not a couple will have a long-lasting relationship just based off of one conversation, a conversation that's no more than a minute long.

It's all about subconscious cues we give off when we speak, much like the phrase 'actions speak louder than words.' Certain cues attract people to each other, unknowing actions that we do that pull others toward us.

Honestly, it's a really interesting thing, and I think that because a lot of Baki men rely on their instincts, and they use thin slicing in every one of their fights, they'll use their instincts to determine who their darlings are. If you were to ask any of the Baki men, in this hypothetical world where they have a darling, I think they wouldn't be able to answer. That they wouldn't know. And that's because it was an instinctual decision, something they knew subconsciously the moment they met you, you, you.

There was just something about you that drew them in, and they would be able to give a broad definition, but they wouldn't be able to tell specifics. And that's the beauty of attraction, so if you think about it, love at first sight is a real thing, yeah?

Because of this, he'll take any one of your interactions and dramatize them. You say that it's cold outside? Now, he thinks you're trying to hint to him that you want his jacket (you don't; you were making small talk). You say that you think his hair looks nice today? Welp, that means you must want to play with his hair, right (Natsue just told you he got a haircut). Hell, your shoulders brush against each other while you two are walking? You're practically telling him that you want a hug! (No, you just were too close to the street).

The point is that any normal reaction or conversation is used to fuel his obsession with you. Within a few weeks of knowing each other, he's thinking that you're going to be the mama of his children. There's no doubt in his mind that you're meant to be. Katsumi will even look at your zodiacs. Did you know that you two are compatible? What a coincidence. It must be fate.

Our boy is literally the definition of pretty privilege. He's got everything a girl would ever want, and he's the envy of all the guys on campus. He's sculpted like a Greek god, thanks to his Persian genetics and daily visits to the gym.

Everyone and anyone will listen to what LoveSick!Athlete's gotta say, and they'll do whatever he's asked, if he's saying it in a certain tone with a certain face. This is his manipulative personality coming into play. He understands that people will listen to him, for whatever reason, and he uses it to his advantage, scaring away any guys you may or may not find attractive.

Usually, it's pretty easy to do as they're just one of your classmates that you just find handsome, but you've never thought of talking to them, much less pursuing them. You're introverted personality (in this type of darling) makes it easy for him to keep you all to himself.

The two of you have been together for years, ever since you were little kids, and you trust everything he says, but not for superficial reasons like everyone else. You see him for who he is. You understand that he'd never do anything to hurt you; I'm just looking out for you, yeah? Just take my word for it, he's not worth your time.

In this case, with this darling, the two of you aren't dating, in your eyes at least. And LoveSick!Athlete has been pursuing you for quite some time, but he's patient. The two of you are practically attached at the hip, and that alone scares off any of your suitors, so even if you find someone (guy or chick) attractive, then they're gone before you can even say 'hello'.

Now, I've gone over how LoveSick!Athlete deals with his 'competitors', though he doesn't see them as this, in this post. This post is more geared toward how he deals with jealousy, but I drabble on the idea of putting down other men and making you see them in a bad light.

LoveSick!Athlete don't see these men, no matter how you see them, as a threat to your relationship, nor his ego. The two of you are far too out of reach for them to touch; they can't get to you, but it's different when it's his teammate. Especially since he never shuts up about them, so they know that he's pursuing you or you're in a relationship (depending on the time).

Overall, I think LoveSick!Athlete would treat the situation similarly with his teammate as he would with some random guy, but he'll have a bitter taste in his mouth whenever he sees said teammate now. It's possible that he'll be rougher with them on the ice, pushing them harder, elbowing them, and tripping them. Of course, no one will notice. After all, he's their star player, he'd never do anything to hurt his teammates, never.

He'll bad mouth them, behind their back of course, to his other teammates and you, can't forget about you. He'll go on and on about all the things they've done over the summer while school was out. How they're so aggressive toward girls, especially the ones that say 'no' to him. You wouldn't believe what Sonia told me, sweets. She said...

Once you get him talking, he won't stop. LoveSick!Athlete would never, ever, miss the opportunity to trash on of his rivals. If the guy seems persistent and tries to talk to you, god, let alone he touches you, he'll rain hellfire on the campus. He'll get some college girls to go report him to the campus office, saying that they were assaulted by him. LoveSick!Athlete might even plant some drugs into the guy's bag, causing him to lose his athletic scholarship.

And if the guy tries to tell on him, like a rat, then he'll just be brushed off as "desperate" and "attention-seeking." That he's trying to push the blame on someone else, 'cause there's no way LoveSick!Athlete would ever do something like that.

He's the team's sweetheart, after all.
