She leaned against the wall as he placed a hand on the wall beside her face, peering down at his phone. "I have yet to send it to you," he drawls. She visibly swallowed at how close his face was to hers, her eyes trailing over his features. His hair was short yet gelled back, and his eyes a beautiful shade of dark brown. His nose was a little on the bigger side, and his lips, a light pink blush shade, full and luscious and looked so soft she wondered what it would be like to feel it on hers. Just the thought of it made her core clench and her thighs tightened together. A beautiful smirk lingered on his lips. "Airdrop doesn't work telepathically, love."
She felt her cheeks heat up as she immediately drew her eyes down and onto her phone, accepting the video that he took for her. When it was completely done sending, she kept her eyes down, too nervous to make eye contact.
He brought his fingers up and lightly grazed her cheek. "You're like a forbidden fruit. One that I desperately yearn to have a bite of, but am not allowed to under any circumstances." He moved his fingers under her chin and gently tilted it upwards, looking intently into her eyes. "For so long," he whispered, "I have wondered what it would be like. For you to be mine. I have spent countless nights, thinking of you." He leaned closer until she could feel his breath on her right ear. "The things I want to do to you. The things I could do to you." She could feel her core clench tighter, desperate with need as she stood there, frozen to the spot. "Every time I have to busy myself doing something, because if I don't, my thoughts will linger and come to you. They always do. Its always you. No matter who I am with, no matter where I am."
He trailed his fingers down from her chin. Down her neck. Over her shoulders. Down her back. Goosebumps all over where his fingers touched. "I have always wondered how you would feel under my touch. How soft your skin would be. How you would sound like." His fingers stopped on her waist. "I could keep both your hands above your head while I touched you." His hand moved up her back. "How you would be like when I finally let you finish." She was breathing so hard, its as if she ran a marathon. No one had ever made such an impact on her using just words. Her mind was going wild with all the images he just put into her head. She wanted it to become a reality. But, it is as he said. Just as she is a forbidden fruit to him, he is as much a forbidden fruit to her. There were boundaries they simply could not cross.
She brought up her hands and placed them on his chest. Oh, god. His chest was hard, for lack of better words, as if he worked out everyday at the gym. If this is what his chest is like, she wanted to know how the rest of his body is like. She wanted to touch his, skin to skin. Wanted to feel him with her hands. Her lips. But, she couldn't.
She mustered whatever energy she had left and pushed him back, then made a run for it. As she ran away, she heard laughter coming from behind her.

As the plane continued its descent to our destination, i awaited the familiar sound which would indicate that the landing gears are deployed. A few moments later, the close-fitting panel of the wheel wells opened. I smiled. Not long to go now.
Suddenly, i heard a sound indicating the panel of the landing gears close. Then, it opened back up and closed again. Some weird noises came from the wheel wells.
Were the landing gears stuck? I debated calling the pilots to inform them that i heard some noises coming from the exterior of the plane.
The next thing I knew, a red indication light lit up at the customer service manager's seat.
Captain's call. Must be something bad.
I braced myself for what's to come.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. At the moment there seems to be some issue with the landing gears. They were deployed, but unfortunately not fully. We have communicated with the traffic control, and we are instructed to fly past the control tower for them to take a look on our behalf. The cabin crew will further assist and prepare you for the worst-case scenario. We apologise for the inconveniences caused, and we would like to seek for your cooperation. Thank you."
A red indication lit up signalling a call to my station and I picked up the interphone. "All crew to take note, we will be doing another round of safety demonstration, following which you will prepare the cabin as per procedures for planned landing. Time remaining: 17 minutes. Make sure to secure all the sharp objects and check the brace positions. That will be all. Please standby. Thanks."
I gathered my safety demonstration kit and went to my demonstration position. As the announcement was made, i proceeded to do the safety demonstration once again and started preparing the cabin for arrival.
Time check: 12 minutes
Shock, fear and disbelief could be seen on each of the passengers' faces. As i walked around the cabin, the passengers were all asking what is going on. 'What will happen to us?', 'Will we be able to land safely?'. I gently reiterated the captain's announcement to them, and asked for their full cooperation as we were preparing for an emergency landing.
Time check: 8 minutes
The mood in the cabin was tense and grim. No one was laughing or joking around, and everyone was taking the cabin crew seriously, following all instructions given without any complaint. Anything sharp that could potentially hurt anyone were collected and stowed far away from all passengers. Food and beverages were kept aside in a location for easy retrieval should we land in the water and needed to wait for help to arrive. Brace positions were taught to the passengers, parents were taught how to protect both themselves and their children. Passengers sitting near me were taught how to operate the plane door should i get incapacitated.
Time check: 2 minutes
Finishing up my preparations, I made my way back to my station and double checked my seat, ensuring that it is secure enough for my safety. My manager did one last round of checking throughout the cabin and as she walked past me, i reported the cabin status to her. "Cabin is ready." She gave a grim nod and continued back to her seat. I took my seat and fastened my seatbelt securely.
"Finish preparations, finish preparations. Cabin crew to be seated now." The captain announced, and immediately the aircraft started a steep descent downwards, and several passengers let out a little scream.
Perks of a cabin crew, I thought bitterly as i held on tight to my seatbelt shoulder harness straps, free roller coaster rides.
I glanced outside the window located at my door. The aircraft was descending at an extremely fast rate. In a matter of a few seconds, we were flying at an extremely low altitude, just slightly over the buildings at the airport terminal. If the aircraft was in perfect condition, this would be a sight to gawk at. The aircraft slowed down while banking right before making a steep climb, presumably for traffic control to take a look and gauge at the situation. Some passengers immediately reached for a sickness bag and threw up inside.
"Ladies and gentlemen, your captain once again. Traffic control has gotten back to us and it seems to them that the landing gears have been deployed, but not fully. However, they did not manage to get a clear enough view and they recommended for us to proceed with landing with caution. Us in the flight deck will do our best to land this beast smoothly, however should the gears not be deployed in a proper manner the landing may be very uncomfortable for you. Please do remember to follow all cabin crew instructions as these will guarantee your safety. Once again I'd like to apologise on behalf of my crew. Please do not make this any harder for them. Thank you."
With that, the aircraft gained speed again and everyone braced themselves for what's to come. I let my mind wander back to my family and boyfriend.
Dad, mom, if i don't make it past this, I'm sorry. You spent so much time and effort to raise me and yet I'll leave you guys before I have the chance to be a filial daughter to the two of you. In our next life, I hope to be your daughter again. I love you both.
"Brace! Brace! Brace!" the captain's instructions for everyone.
"Bend down! Stay down! Heads down! Stay down! Stay down! Stay down! Stay down!" I screamed out the commands to the best of my ability.
To my loving boyfriend. Funny how it's going to be our first anniversary in a matter of a few days but yet I'm going to leave you. I guess what we always refused to talk about is going to happen soon. I looked forward to this upcoming anniversary that we are going to celebrate since it is going to be as perfect as all our dates that we have had. If I don't make it through this, just know that I love you and I'm sorry.

She could feel him trembling, as his arms wrapped around her torso.
He held onto her as if his life depended on it.
She did not want to hug him back for she knew she would only hate herself more for doing what she did to him.
But he so desperately wanted her to.
And yet she refused, and kept pulling out of it, of the hug.
He tried to hold onto her, to force her back into his arms, but fear flashed in her eyes.
It was so quick that he missed it, did not see it as she composed herself so quickly.
She quickly subdued those thoughts and gathered herself, and left.

Tears falling every night
Hushed desperate whispers
Broken hearted shaking figure
Broken wings screaming in pain
A silent battle she's fighting
Loneliness desperation emptiness
The never ending voices in her head
She begs for them to stop.
An artist she claims to be
Freshly red blood on skin canvas
While it all fades to white lines
Only for new ones to be created

The stars shine brightly in the sky
And moonlight encases the room in a gentle glow
There's a figure sitting,
Crying on the floor;
There's a scissors by her side.
Her wrists imperfect,
Drops of blood slowly trickling
down her skin.
But she doesn't care about that,
She cares that she feels peace
The voices in her head temporarily hushed

She could always tolerate the terrible English. The way he couldn’t form proper sentences, the way he couldn’t spell her name proper. She accepted it as part of him.
He was protective of her. His strong arms able to carry her. When wrapped around her, protected her from everything the world was throwing at her. She was willing to go through it all if it was for him.
After all, he was hot yet cold to her at the same time. She craved for him. She craved for the moments when he was warmer to her. When he was kind. When he made a little joke. When he showed even a fraction of care for her. When he showed that maybe, just maybe she had a chance with him.
But one day he disappeared. Disappeared just like that. With no trace. She dialed his number but to no avail. She went to his house, contacted all his friends. Nothing. He left her, and he left the possibility of them being ever together. He never fancied her. Or maybe he did, but it was too late. He left them and she couldn’t do anything about it.
Possibly an excerpt from a book I'd never write
