About 10 years ago, I wanted to draw a convincing subsurface light scattering in sea waves. So I just got a ton of references from photos and videos and started to redraw the waves until it stopped look horrible. Then I was able to draw it in my own works (with varied success).

And about techinique… It's just drawing large bodies of water/wave with an airbrush and then hours and hours and hours of rendering splashes, sea foam and bubbles with a hard tiny brush. That's it, haha.

"Priorities"

For some reason, I always find it absolutely hilarious that Leon is able to install gemstones into antique jewelry — anytime, anywhere, on the run, without any special equipment whatsoever. Gems just magically snap into place, that's it.

Videogames logic, I get it — but this particular aspect is so funny to me that I wanted to draw a "realistic" scene where the man takes his time during the dangerous secret rescue operation, successfully installing jewels without any previous training, outside, with a half broken tactical knife, IN THE DARK, IN THE RAIN.

P.S. Apparently, I've spent 43 hours and 30 minutes to draw a shitpost. I need to rethink my life decisions.
