Double Detonation Chapter 4
Using my quirk at my feet, I accelerated forward faster than I ever thought possible, screaming, "Katsuki!" I caught him before he could land face-first on the concrete. I sat on my knees, holding him up in a sitting position while he coughed up some gunk. I cringed at the sight, patting his back gently. I didn’t really know what to say, my body was shaking as pros closed in on us. Katsuki groaned and turned his head to look at me, a small smirk forming. I looked confused as he spoke, his voice a bit rough from the near suffocation he just endured. “T-told you, th-at, you could move faster.” I frowned in annoyance. “ARE YOU SERIOUSLY JOKING AROUND RIGHT NOW!” I shouted, smacking him gently on the back of his head. He hissed. “Oi, what the hell woman!”
The pro heroes start praising my brother’s quirk for the sheer power he showed when he was captured. No, please, stop encouraging him. His ego is already big enough as it is. I groaned to myself. I looked over, hoping to spot Midoriya. Once I spotted him, I got up and walked over to him, frowning at his expression. “You moron, do you have a death wish!” The walking twig shouted at him. OH HELL NAW. I quickly moved my way over. “There was absolutely no reason to-” I pushed the man with white hair to the side, standing in front of Izuku. I crossed my arms and glared at both of them.
“I don’t fucking think so. There is NO way in hell I’m going to let you talk to Izuku like that!” I growled, looking back at Midoriya with a small smile before scowling back at the two men. “He was the only fucking person who tried to help my brother in there!” I spat. “You should be ashamed of yourselves! You both are heroes. You should be setting an example rather than chastising someone who acted more like a hero than you lot today!” I finished, turning back to Midoriya, seeing him standing and fiddling with his fingers with a small blush on his cheeks.
I walked over to Midoriya, giving him a gentle hug. “Thank you Izuku, I owe ya one, okay?” I smiled at him, causing his blush to deepen, turning him into a human strawberry. “I-I didn't really do anything m-major, it's okay! You d-don't owe m-me anything!” He stutters, waving his hands around nervously. I chuckle softly at his antics. “Seriously though, if you need something, just call me.” I waved him goodbye, heading back towards my brother.
“C'mom, let's go home ‘Suki,” I said, starting the walk home. Katsuki looks at Midoriya with a fierce glare before following.
It has been about a week and a half since the incident. Also, the same amount of time when I decided I was going to fully train my quirk and my body like I was supposed to. The feeling of not being able to do anything when someone I loved was suffering…never again. I started using my allowance money to pay for a gym membership. I purposely chose one that was an hour away so I could get in a good run every other day. I didn't really work out in my past life due to health issues, but damn it felt nice being able to run without dying from exhaustion.
My favorite part of the gym has to be the rock climbing course. I can't just go around parkouring things without getting into trouble, but here, I can do it as much as I want. Though the adults watching get mad at me if I try to do stupid shit, joy killers. I try to improve my time on the course every time I come but sometimes I rush a bit too much and fall, ruining the run. Speak of the devil. “Ahh shit!” I yelled as I missed my footing, and fell on the floor padding. “Damn it!” I shouted in frustration. Knew I should have gone for the closer stone. “That could have been my best time yet,” I grumbled into my hands.
“Woah, dude you good? You fell from the top level.” A guy's voice spoke. A hand reached out towards me.
Hearing a voice next to me, I looked up towards them. My eyes widened at this guy's very familiar appearance. Crimson hair and eyes…oh shit. “O-oh um, yeah I'm good,” I replied, taking his hand. He pulls me up, giving me his signature toothy grin. “That's good, even with the padding it can be easy to sprain your ankle or something.” He said, shrugging his shoulders. Shit, am I seriously meeting one of my favorite comfort characters in person…BEFORE I EVEN ATTEND UA! Kazumi panic mode has been initiated, requesting backup.
I chuckled nervously, starting to pick at the skin on one of my arms subconsciously. “A-ah yeah, that would have sucked, my name's Bakugou K-Kazumi.” I stuttered, offering a slightly shaky hand to greet him properly. God damn it nerves, stop it, you're fine! I swear his eyes fucking sparkled at the gesture. Ugh, why is he such a fucking cinnamon roll in real life too!
“Sweet! I'm Kirishima Ejirirou. Are you new here? I haven't seen you at this gym until recently.”
Recently!? He's fucking been here and I haven't noticed! “N-no I'm not, I don't live near here, I live about an hour or so away. I just use this gym as an excuse to make me run.” I explained.
Kirishima looked a bit shocked. “You run here for an hour!? Do you also run home?”
“Yup, though I don't go to the gym every day.” I'm too damn lazy to do that.
“Damn dude, I'd be too exhausted afterward to go running home, and I live nearby, respect man!” Kirishima laughs wholeheartedly with his sharp teeth showing, making me smile softly. “When do you normally leave?” He asked, tilting his head slightly.
“Eh, about 7:30. Gives me enough time to be home before curfew.”
Kirishima looks excited for a moment before calming himself down. “Would ya by any chance want to spar some? I- haven't really got many friends that would be willing to go to the gym with me- it's okay if that's a no tho!”
I pulled my phone out of my pocket for a second to check the time. I still have about an hour before I have to leave. I shrug, shoving the phone back down. “Sure why not.”
I regret agreeing to this.
I thought I was getting better at hand-to-hand combat fighting Katsuki. But God, he was kicking my ass, and that was without his quirk. Kirishima sent a quick, and hard kick to my side, making me kneel down, gasping for breath. I was on the floor panting, fuck. I almost wonder if Katsuki has been holding out on me, but I know he wouldn't do that. Fucker is too prideful to not go full strength. I held my hand up to signal a stop. “J-Jesus Christ red, what are you made out of.”
“S-sorry didn't mean for it to hurt that much.” He laughed nervously as he helped me up. “I got thick skin, even without my quirk.”
I already knew what it was, but if I was going to build any friendships with anyone, I can't just be some weirdo who knows almost everything about them right away. “If you don't mind me asking, what's your quirk?” I asked gingerly, knowing it was a rather sensitive topic for him.
“Eh..my quirk is Hardening.” He replied with a voice that was a bit solemn, holding out his arm, turning the skin into a rock-like texture. “It's not very flashy but I'm aiming for the hero course of UA, which is why I'm here training.” He said, looking at me. “What about you?”
I frowned at his tone. Poor baby needs to build more confidence. “Mine is called Explosion. As the name suggests, I can make explosions with my hands and feet using my sweat.” Kazumi explained. “I would show you but…I would rather not accidentally blow anything up right now, sorry.”
“It's all good man, but I definitely want to see it one day, it must be pretty flashy if it's explosive!” Kirishima exclaims, his eyes widening slightly. “Oh shoot!” He pulled his phone out, unlocking the screen to the contact list page. “Mind if we swap numbers since you live far away? I'd love to keep in touch.” He asks, handing me his phone.
My face lights up at the thought as I make a new contact. I click the camera button, taking a quick selfie before typing in my phone number. This is exciting! The only people I have on my phone are my family and Midoriya. I finish up the information and hand the device back. “Text me and I'll save the number,” I said as I picked up my backpack. Kirishima and I walk towards the exit, the sliding glass doors open and we step onto the sidewalk.
“Bet, it was nice meeting you Bakugou!” Kirishima smiled, waving me goodbye as I walked off. I nodded, lazily raising my arm to wave it. “Yeah, you too,” I said, stepping up the pace into a sprint as I headed home.
I huffed as I made my way through the door. Hearing a notification from my phone, I threw myself on the living room couch and dug out my phone from my pocket. “Hey, it’s Kirishima! Thanks for the great day!” I smiled widely, instantly typing him back. “No problem man, I had fun even if you were kicking my ass.” I sent a message back with a laughing emoji. What I didn’t realize was that Katsuki heard me coming home and that he was currently behind me, watching.
“What the fuck, since when did you use emojis, and why are you smiling so goddamn much.” He demanded, throwing so many questions at me unexpectedly. Hearing his voice, I jumped, closing my phone with a slight blush. “N-none of your business! Stop stalking me!” I shouted.
Katsuki narrows his gaze at me, a shit-eating grin forming. “OLD HAG, KAZUMI HAS A BOYFRIEND.” I jumped again at the volume, my eyes widening. “Katsuki!” I yelled, jumping over the sofa to tackle him to the floor. A woman's voice from the floor above shouted.
“WHAT!?”
Ending note: Hey everyone, sorry that this chapter took a bit longer to write than the others. I took a bit of a break last week since I was a bit tired from work and didn't have the motivation to write. I did start, but I never finished and I hated it for a while because I was unsure of what I wanted to do for it. I figured it out tho so I hope you all enjoyed the chapter!

Double Detonation Chapter 3
Having graduated from preschool several years ago, Katsuki and I are now fourteen. Our relationship has grown far beyond what I thought possible. Even though he can be an asshole sometimes, I love him more than anything. I had tried my hardest for him and Midoriya to get along but he still hates his guts. I could never understand why, but I won’t force them to be friends if it just doesn’t work. However, he doesn't even think about fighting Izuku in front of me. In junior high, we didn't get put in the same classroom since we are twins. Which doesn't really make sense because we are not identical twins. That didn't stop me from kicking the door down if I heard he was causing trouble. I think I almost broke his jaw once when I found out that he burned Midoriya badly enough that it left him with a first-degree burn. I wouldn't have even known if Izuku didn't come and tell me. To think that Katsuki is the older twin and he acts like an immature child half of the time.
When my brother brought up the topic of attending UA, he asked if I would be joining him. I had to do some serious thinking after that. I wasn't sure if I truly wanted to aim to be a hero. I know that is the whole point of the Anime but the idea of fighting for my life and others was kind of terrifying. However, Katsuki wouldn't take no for an answer. He said I had great potential and shouldn't waste it on being uncertain. “You always stick up for that worthless Deku, you'd be fine.” Yeah- standing up against a bully is EXTREMELY different than fighting a full-on fucking villain.
Right now we are in our backyard throwing punches at each other. Mom and Dad are currently out on a date so we thought we would do some practice while they’re gone. Ever since my brother announced he wanted to be a hero, I was dragged by him to help him train our quirks. I didn’t really want to at the start but Katsuki said that if anyone was going to train with him, it might as well be me since I’m the only person he can stand being with for hours on end. I grunted as I backed away a couple of feet from him as he shot a large explosion my way. Since we have similar quirks, we have been trying to bounce ideas off of each other when it comes to ways of using them. The main difference between us is that I can use my quirk in my hands and feet, while he can only use his hands. In a burst of energy at the bottom of my feet, I launch myself over Katsuki, holding a hand out, aiming another blast at him. He saw it coming and twisted himself to face me, blocking my hit with his own, bouncing me backward onto my ass.
“You really need to work on using your feet more,” Katsuki said as he offered his hand to me. I gratefully took it and he helped me up. “I know you can move faster than that if you just tried harder.”
I groaned loudly. “Yeah, but it's not exactly easy. You're more gifted at your quirk than I am.”
“That's some bullshit. It's just because I practice a lot more than you do.” He said as he concentrated a small blast in his right palm. “If I'm going to be the number one hero, I need to train like one.”
“Yeah yeah, I know,” I grumbled, rolling my eyes at him. I clench my fists to the side. I have never been as good as my brother when it came to power. He got his quirk earlier than I did and is fully focused on his goals. I could never get my head around how quirks work. Half the time I used mine, my limbs would ache like they wanted to fall off. I don’t know if that is normal since I’m using explosions or if it’s just one of the drawbacks of my quirk. He didn’t seem to have the same issue, or if he does, he doesn’t show it.
Katsuki looks over and gives me a small smile. “Besides, if you want to be by my side in the hero course of UA, you will need to learn how to use your quirk to the fullest. Even if you don't like the idea of that, I know you can do it.”
I stare up at him with wet eyes. Katsuki isn't always like this but when he does, it always seems to catch me off guard. Fuck, I love him sometimes. I rushed forward and embraced him in a tight hug.
“Oi, get the hell off me!” He shouts, pushing me off of him. “You fucking stink!” I gasped, pulling away from him, and giving him a smack across his shoulder.
“Hey! It's not like you smell like a bed of roses either ‘Suki!”
“Whatever.” He grumbles, stuffing his hands in his pocket before making his way inside. I shake my head and follow him.
“I'm gonna take a shower bro, call me if you need anything,” I said, passing him to go to the bathroom. As I pass I see his devilish smirk. “What…?” I looked at him confused. He then takes off in a sprint leaving me stunned. I realized where he was going and screeched. I ran after him but he made it to the bathroom first, slamming and locking the door behind him.
“KATSUKI BAKUGOU!” I shouted, pulling roughly on the door knob.
“What old hag?!” He shouted back through the door. “I got here first, you are going to have to wait!”
The front door of the house opened with Mom and Dad walking in with small smiles but stopped at the door when they heard their daughter cussing, and hitting a door.
“YOU LITTLE SHIT, ONCE YOU GET OUT HERE YOU'RE DEAD!”
The parents looked at each other, sweat dripping at the scene. Masaru looks at his wife. “Should we just…walk out and pretend we aren't home yet.” He suggests. Mitsuki deadpans and walks back outside without a word. “I'll take that as a yes.” He chuckles and walks out, closing the door behind him.
Hearing the bell ring, signaling that school is over for today. I get up from my seat, swinging my backpack over my shoulders, and start walking out. Thank fucking god, any longer and I think I would have gone crazy. I sighed as I walked down the hall towards my brother's classroom. I usually try to meet up with him there so we can walk home together, but this time, I think I’ve heard something I probably wasn’t meant to. “You know, if you wanted to be a hero that badly. There actually might be another way. Just pray that you’ll be born with a quirk in the next life, and take a swan dive off the roof of the building.“ I heard my brother’s condescending voice through the door laughing mockingly. I swear I think I saw fucking red. The eyebrows on my forehead furrowed downward as I stood at the entrance of the door with a large scowl. Seeing the door open I made a low growling sound. Katsuki proceeded to bump into me as he tried walking out.
“Who the fuck!” My brother said, rubbing his face. His friend’s eyes widen at the sight of me. “Oh shit!” The gray-haired one whisper-shouted and they both darted down the hallway together. He looked up, confused as to why his friends ran out, seemingly with fear in one of their voices. His face pales, as he starts to realize that he just fucked up.
I look past him to spot a shaking Midoriya with tears in his eyes. The smile on my face was fakely sweet as I called out to him. “Oh, hello Izuku. That's okay, you can leave first!” I said as I grabbed Katsuki by the collar of his shirt, pulling him back inside the classroom, and giving him enough space between us and the door. Midoriya looks between us with a worried gaze. He grabbed his bag before slowly walking out, not before glancing back at me before fully leaving. I stood there for a few more moments, making sure he was gone before glaring at my brother.
“What the FUCK do you think you're doing, saying shit like that!” I screamed, smacking him roughly across the head.
Katsuki hissed, reaching to rub the spot with one of his hands. “What are you talking about, I said nothing.”
I smacked him again. “Don’t try to gaslight me! What gives you the right to say that to Izuku, let alone anyone? I know you don’t like Midoriya, but you can’t just tell someone to go off themselves!”
“You wouldn’t fucking understand,” Katsuki grumbles, stuffing his hands inside his pockets, and starts to walk into the hallway. “Then make me understand!” I shouted back. Katsuki paused and then turned to face me with a hard glare. “He needs to understand he can not become a fucking hero, that’s why I’m doing it.”
“That’s not a reason for abusing him like how you have been Katsuki! Besides, Izuku can become a hero if he tries hard enough, isn’t that what you always tell me!”
“THATS THE REASON WHY I DO IT!” He shouts, putting his hands in his hair, and pulling on it slightly. “Because I know he could make it as a hero if he tried hard enough, but I’m trying to fucking scare him out of it! I know you wouldn’t get it because you fucking baby the bastard every time!”
I paused, looking conflicted. He believes Midoriya can become a hero? Then why even do this? “I don’t understand…If you think that way, then why try to stop him from accomplishing his dreams?” I asked.
Katsuki sighed. “Because, if he somehow becomes a hero, with him being quirkless, it’s only a matter of time before he nerd gets himself killed.” He says as he starts walking, and I follow him closely beside him. “It’s unfair, but it’s true…and I don’t want that to happen.” He finishes as we continue to walk in silence.
Katsuki and I are walking through an alleyway, a shortcut that we usually take. It’s faster than following the streets, plus it’s less crowded. We haven’t spoken since we left the classroom. I sighed as I kicked a plastic bottle with my quirk, causing some green gunk inside of it. Gross I think I burnt whatever was inside. “You don’t hate me, right?” Katsuki asks quietly. I looked at him surprised. “No, you make me angry sometimes, but I could never hate you. Why would you think I’d hate you?” I asked. He shrugs his shoulders at me. “Just making sure…” I shake my head before freezing in place. A large glob-shaped shadow appears over us, making us look at who is making it. Our eyes widened in fear at the sight.
“Perfect! I love a meat sack with some fire! The creature said before rushing forward to me. Katsuki screams my name, pushing me roughly out of the way, getting caught in the sludge instead. “KATSUKI!” I screamed as the villain left with my brother. I followed them closely with my quirk as the villain left a path of destruction. I leap forward, ready to let out a blast before I get tugged back by a thick branch.
“NO!” I shouted, smacking at whatever grabbed me. “Let go of me you bastard!” The hero, Kamui Woods kept me in place. “Don't even think about it kid, let the pros handle this!” He shouted as a larger hero with white arms rushed in and smashed the slime with zero effect. “W-what is this stuff! I can't grab a hold of it!” He said before a sludge arm came out and slapped him away.
I struggle in Kamui's hold. “Let me go! Please! He has my fucking brother!” I shouted, making a small explosion trying to knock him away from me. He looked shocked and turned to the other heroes. “That thing has a kid hostage!”
The heroes looked around. “Shit! None of us have the right quirk for this! The kid is going to have to wait until someone with the right quirk comes along!”
The pain of watching my brother struggling in the hands of a villain is something I forgot that could happen. Fuck this is all my fault, I forgot that sludge fucker existed!’ I cried to myself. A green blob passed me, making me lift up my head. Midoriya!
Midoriya throws his yellow backpack at the monster, hitting him in the eye, making him loosen his hold slightly on my brother. My eyes widen as he gasps for air. “That's fucking it, let go of me you fucking twig!” I shouted, blasting a large explosion at him, making him release me. I was about to charge in myself before someone shouted, “DETROIT SMASH!” Blasting the villain away. I ran into the scene to catch my brother.
“KATSUKI!” I cried out.

Double Detonation Chapter 2
It has been about four months since we started preschool. Honestly, it has been better than I thought it would. The work is barely work, and I can use it the rest of the time to sleep or do whatever I want. The teachers also have been praising me for my so-called intelligence, even if it was just my past memories. They made sure to point it out to my mother when she picked us up. For doing so well, Mom would sometimes take me out for dessert. I think she saw it as a Mother-Daughter bonding session of how she was always excited for them, and I wasn’t going to say no to some free ice cream. Though, Katsuki seemed a little peeved by not being allowed to go on these outings and started seeing it as a competition. He would rub it in my face if he got a higher score than me, which only happened when we were learning Japanese. Learning a whole new language was a bit difficult for me. Perhaps I should have watched anime Sub rather than Dub. After a while, I was getting annoyed by the taunting and just asked Mom if we could bring him along, which seemed to upset her slightly but she agreed without much thought. It made Katsuki happy, so that was fine by me.
Currently, we are having recess, so I’m just relaxing on my favorite bean bag chair. This thing is a lot more comfortable than the ones I had in America. I swear, just jumping into those things felt like landing in a pile of rocks. I thought to myself as I snuggled further into the seat. I closed my eyes and was about to fall asleep. That was, before someone jumped into the chair next to me, launching me in the air a few feet, making my eyes widen.
“What the heck!” I screeched, landing back on the cushion, and hearing a familiar laugh from my brother. “You should have seen your face!” He continued to laugh, grinning at me.
“Oi…do you have to be so loud,” I grumbled, trying to push him off. He wasn’t having any of that though, grabbing my hand and dragging me onto my feet. Ugh gross, why are his hands so sweaty? I cringed inside, I hated the feeling of being sweaty or sticky. “You sleep too much, come on I wanna show you something!” I groan as I let myself be drug outside, Katsuki pulling me to his group of friends. I don’t know his friends too well. I do recognize them though as his lackeys from the show, so I already wasn’t too fond of them when he first introduced me to them.
“You gotta see this Kazu!” Katsuki sounded excited as he stood in front of the boys with his signature smirk, raising his hands. He then punched his hands together, a small explosion bursts from the palm of his hand. My eyes widened slightly at the sight. Has his quirk manifested already? No wonder why his hands were so fucking sweatier than normal. Hearing a couple of gasps around the playground, kids start to form a group around us.
“Wow, you got your quirk already!” One commented. “That is such a cool quirk!” They were endlessly praising my brother and he was soaking it all in, a bit too well. His hands were on his hips and his head was raised a little higher with pride. “I know right? I got the best quirk here!”
I rolled my eyes at his remark. Great, his ego train has just left the station. Noticing the green blob known as Midoriya poking his way through the crowd, the boy beams at Katsuki.
“Waah, you’re so cool Kaachan! I hope to get a quirk just as cool as yours!”
Katsuki and his friends looked at him, then scoffed. “Yeah right Midoriya, in your dreams! No one will get a quirk as cool as mine.” He said as he glanced at me, I frowned. “Well, maybe besides my sister, but definitely not you!” His lackeys laugh and they walk off with some of the other kids to play with their new quirks. I looked over at Midoriya, seeing him holding the bottom of his shirt tightly with quivering lips. God damn it Katsuki. I sighed, walking closer to him.
“Ignore my brother Izuku, I’m sure you’ll get an amazing quirk too,” I said to him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder, making him flinch slightly. He looks up at me with uncertainty in his eyes.
“I-If you say so Kazuchan…”
It’s been a few weeks since Katsuki got his quirk. Mom and Dad couldn’t be prouder of him as he continued to learn how to use his powers. Mom kept an eye on me more recently though, unsure of the reason why but who cares? Katsuki and I did find out that Midoriya was diagnosed as quirkless the other day. Was Mom worried I’d turn out quirkless as well? Did I even want a quirk? I’ve lived my previous life without one just fine, but then again it was normal there. I groan as the beam of sunlight hits my face. I sluggishly got up from the bed and dragged myself into the bathroom. I pushed the stepping stool in front of the sink and climbed on top of it. Ugh, it was really hot last night, I hated it so much. I feel all sweaty… I grumbled as I turned the faucet on, running my hands under the cool water. Closing my eyes, I splashed some water onto my face. Reaching for one of the towels. Before I could grab one, I lost my footing on the stool and slipped.
“AAH!” stretching my arms out in front of me to break my fall before a small explosion emerged from my hands, propelling me back onto my feet for a second before I fell back down again from the shock. My eyes widen in fear as I stare at the scorch marks on the floor. The bathroom door bursts open with Mom rushes toward me. “Kazumi!” She shouts, sliding on the ground to sit in front of me. “Are you okay baby, what happened!?” I started up at her, slightly shaking. Not long after, Dad and Katsuki came in as well with concern in their eyes. Katsuki frowns as he follows my gaze. Seeing the singe marks, the worry on his face melts into pure happiness.
“Mom I think Kazu just got her quirk!” He says happily, running to sit next to me, pointing at the burnt floor behind her. Mitsuki looks at it before turning back to me, cupping my hands with her bigger ones. “Is that true, did you hurt yourself at all, sweetie?” She says softly, opening her hands to look at mine, and rubbing her thumbs against them. I look up at her, then back at Katsuki.
“N-No I’m not hurt…I fell and I was gonna hit the floor but my hands exploded, pushing me back.” I shuddered, still shaken by what happened. My hands feel numb right now. Is this normal when you use your quirk? Mom sighs in relief. “That's good, I’m glad you are not hurt. It looks like Katsuki is right, seems like your quirk has come in dear.” She smiles at me. Dad chuckles and walks over to us, kneeling down as well.
“I told you, you didn’t have anything to worry about dear. She’s got an amazing quirk, just like her brother. Mitsuki sighs. “I know, and I’m glad for her.” So they were worried about the possibility of me being quirkless. I stared at the floor and then back at Dad. “Sorry that I ruined the floor…”
“Don’t worry about it kiddo, accidents happen.”
Going back to school was hell now that I had a quirk. Kids were starting to pay attention to me more after Katsuki declared us the Explosion Twins or something stupid like that when he told everyone I got the same quirk as him. Maannnn, I miss my quiet time. I sighed as I pushed away from another group of loud kids who wanted me to play with them. I also HATE the fact that our quirk makes me sweat so much. I feel like I’m constantly running to the bathroom to wash up. I literally just cleaned myself and I can already feel the nitroglycerin-like sweat building up on my skin. I continue walking around the playground, with my hands stuffed inside my pockets, until I pass by the sandbox. Noticing my brother and his friend were surrounding a rather beaten-up Izuku sitting next to some scorched sand. I growled as I walked up to them, hearing their annoying laughter. “You’re such a useless Deku!” I heard Katsuki bark out as he raised one of his hands.
“That is enough Katsuki!” I yelled as I moved myself in front of Izuku. My brother’s eyes widen slightly in disbelief seeing me blocking one of his hits making him and his cronies back up a bit.
“What are you doing Kazu, why are you always defending Deku from me? You should be on my side!” Izuku whimpers and hugs his knees, scooting a bit away from us, not wanting to get into any more trouble. I look back at the frightened green bean, then back at my brother, my vermillion red eyes burning into his own.
“I have always been on your side ‘Suki, but I can’t watch from the sidelines while you bully Izuku with your quirk!” Katsuki growls, glaring at me, then to Midoriya. “Fine, whatever, I don’t see why you protect that nerd anyway…” He grumbles and walks away with his friends.
I look at Midoriya, frowning as I watch him tremble in his spot. I walk over, step into the sandbox, and sit next to him, Izuku flinches as I do so. He glances at me and starts to cry. I sigh, pulling him into a quick and gentle hug. I stay with him for a while, rubbing his back gently until he starts to calm down. I hear him sniffle and feel him move his head slightly. I remove my arm from him and look at him. “You okay Izuku?”
Midoriya looks at me, sniffling again as he rubs his cheek to clear his tears. “I-I’m okay…W-Why did you help me.” He mutters quietly. “H-He’s your brother, you shouldn’t be fighting with him because of me.” I stared at him.
“I did that because you are my friend Izuku, and…that is what heroes do.”

Double Detonation Chapter 1
I don't remember falling asleep, or it being dark out. At the moment, nothing but darkness is visible to me. Or at least I think, I'm pretty sure I opened my eyes, but I can't tell. Wherever I am, it is a bit tight but warm…and oddly comforting at the same time. Which, doesn't really make sense now that I think about it. It took me a little while to move my hand, but I eventually succeeded. Grazing what felt like another hand, which did not appear to belong to me, I froze. There was someone next to me, who? I thought to myself. Perhaps it's one of my parents. Did I get into an accident or something? Am I in the hospital? Why else can I barely move or do anything? So many questions rattle inside my mind then suddenly, things around me start getting tighter and tighter. OKAY, this is no longer comforting! I wince to myself as whatever this constrictive pressure continues to do to my body. What the fuck is happening!? The pain is getting worse, it is also getting hard to breathe, and the tightness around me is too much…Am I dying? These are my last thoughts as I black out.
Holding one of their crying children while the other is quickly taken from the room, making the atmosphere in the room rather tense for the new parents. “W-What's Happening!? Why are they taking my baby!.” An exhausted, spikey-haired blonde woman shouts. The brunette husband rushes over after speaking a few words with one of the doctors. “Something is wrong with Kazumi. She… isn't breathing correctly. They're going to get her some air.” He says to his wife. The baby in the woman's arms cries become louder, weakly waving their tiny arms around. The clearly panicked Mother starts to gently rock the baby, her arms shaking slightly as she does so. “Shh, shh, it's okay darling, your sister is going to be alright.” She says aloud, mostly trying to convince herself that rather than the newborn in her arms. The father looks at the two with anxious eyes, pulling up one of the nearby chairs next to the bed. “Mitsuki, do you want me to hold him? You really need to get some rest.” The woman looks over hesitantly, with some reluctance, she hands over their child to him. “I would say no if I wasn't so damn tired…” She mumbles as she eyes the man gently taking a hold of their new son. “It's okay, I'll keep him safe.” He mutters quietly.
Waking up, I open my eyes and take a look around my new surroundings. Seems like I assumed correctly that I ended up in a hospital, but why does everything look so much larger than normal?
“The baby seems to be stable again sir.” A woman's voice said to her right.
A baby?
“Good, you can go ahead and take the baby back to the parents, they will be relieved to see them again.” Another person in the room replies. Seems to be a man's voice this time. All of a sudden, two arms wrap around me, lifting me up gently. Noticing what was wrong my eyes widened dramatically. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, WHY AM I IN A GROWN WOMAN'S ARMS! The nurse takes me to a room, knocking on the door quietly before walking inside.
The blonde woman's eyes darted at the door and she instantly shouted. “KAZUMI!” She struggles to sit back up for a second before her husband quickly helps her. “Careful Mitsuki!”
The nurse walks to stand beside the bed. “It's quite alright Mr. Bakugou, you both must have been very worried.” She says as she gently gives me to the woman they called Mitsuki.
M-Mitsuki? Bakugou? I must have heard wrong right…There is absolutely no freaking way that's correct.
“Oh goodness, my little Kazumi.” The woman cries as she pulls me closer to her. “I'm so relieved to see that you're okay.” She cooed. “Don't you ever scare me like that again.” She smiles with tears in her eyes as she stares directly at me. The nurse smiles softly and proceeds to walk out of the room to give the parents some much-needed privacy.
The brunette man next to us, who I assume at this point is Masaru, scoots closer to put the baby in his arms and I together. “Look at them…two new beautiful babies.” I look between both of them, unsure of what to do.
“Yes hun, a pair of perfect little angels.” She says softly.
“Welcome to the Bakugou family, Katsuki and Kazumi.”
                    -Three years later-
So, it would seem that reincarnation is in fact real. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to explain the current situation I've found myself in. Turns out I've been reborn into the Bakugou family. The same ones who have the Katsuki Bakugou as their son. The very same Bakugous from the Anime, Boku no Hero Academia. Who happens to be my new twin brother. At first, I didn't know what to do with this information. However, being the youngest sister in my previous family of three brothers. I've instinctively got back into the groove of being a pain in the ass to my older brother. I thought to myself as I ran from a very angry Katsuki, laughing.
“KAZU, COME BACK HERE!” Katsuki yelled as he chased after me. “Give back my all Might Figure!”
I know it sounds bad, but he started it by messing up my drawing notebook. “Gotta catch me first!” I shouted, sticking my tongue out at him. It took a few minutes of running around the house before he caught up to me, tackling me to the floor. “AAH!” I shouted as Katsuki and I got into a little wrestling match. It didn't last long as we soon heard footsteps coming closer.
“All right knock it off you brats!” Mitsuki calls out, pulling us apart. “What in the hell are you two fighting in the living room for, I just cleaned it a bit ago!”
I paused and looked down sheepishly. Despite Mitsuki being a character I knew in an anime once, she is now my mother. I love her just as much as my old one if not more so, and I know when to stop before she can get too upset. No one wants a pissed-off Mitsuki directed at them. Katsuki takes the opportunity to quickly snatch the figurine from my hands. “Hey!” I shouted as I tried to grab it back. He didn't let up and ran behind our mother.
“Kazumi took my All Might Figure and wouldn't give it back. So I had to fight her for it back!” Mom looked at me expectantly.
“Hey no fair! I did that because he drew all over the picture I was working on!”
Mitsuki looked back at her son. “Katsuki, did you do that?”
Katsuki held his figure close to him. “I- well, um, yes but-”
“Ah- no buts, apologize to your sister for ruining her drawing.”
Katsuki grumbles in annoyance as he fidgets with the toy in his arms. “Sorry…” He half-apologizes. I could tell he didn’t actually mean it, but I smiled anyway. “It’s fine I guess.”
Mother then turned to me.
“And you young lady, apologize to your brother, you know how he is with his All Might stuff. You could have come straight to me and I would have dealt with it. You guys could have ended up hurting yourselves doing that.”
I sigh quietly. Aww, come on! He literally was asking for it! “I’m sorry, I won’t touch your things without asking.” Katsuki huffs. “It’s fine, it was kind of fun playing like that though, we should play fight again!” He says as he grabs my hand and drags me with him.
“Not while you're in the house!” Mom shouts a little too late as we run off.
Mom is currently helping Katsuki and I get dressed for today. Apparently, we’re starting Preschool next week and she is dragging us to go shopping for supplies and stuff. Ugh, I forgot I would have to redo school. Hopefully, my memory from my previous life would help me get better scores this time though. Mitsuki hums softly as she brushes my blonde hair into my usual short, spikey ponytail. I know I could probably do it myself, but I love it when Mom does it. She seems to like doing it anyway so it's a win-win for both of us.
“Now you two, we aren’t going shopping by ourselves. One of my old friends is joining us with her son as well. So you both be nice to him now alright? I heard he was pretty shy.” Mom says as she finishes up my hair, moving on to Katsuki's to try to tame his messy ass bed hair. Oh, is she talking about Inko? Are we going to finally meet Izuku?  “Yes, Okaasan, I will be good. Might want to tell Suki that twice so it can get through his head.”
Katsuki looks at me with his trade-marked, pissed-off face he always makes. “Hey!” He shouts as he tries to jump me.
“Alright knock it off!” Mom says as she quickly pulls back her son, not wanting their clothes to get messed up. “We haven’t even left the fucking house yet, stop fighting!” Mitsuki yells. “And Kazumi, please don’t call me Okaasan, It makes me feel old.” She says as she takes our hands, taking us outside to the car.
“Whatever makes you feel better at night,” Katsuki bounces back before I can, making me laugh as Mom straps us in the backseats of her car. “Oi, you brats, be quiet.” She huffs as she closes the door, gets behind the wheel, starts the vehicle, and drives off.
Mom, Katsuki, and I are currently in front of the store, waiting for the Midoryias to show up. I’m sitting on the sidewalk, while my brother is standing to the side, getting more impatient by the second. I rest my hand against my cheek, looking at the road. I’ve been taking note of the different colored cars that pass by. So far about, fifteen whites, seven silvers, five grays, nine whites, and three random colorful ones.
“Ugh! Where the heck are they? Mom, you said your friend would be here.” My brother complains. “Be patient Katsuki, there is a bit of traffic today, they’re probably almost here.” Mom and Katsuki start arguing with each other, though I’m not really paying attention. I continue watching the road until my eyes catch a glimpse of a very familiar shade of green hair.
“Mama look someone is coming, I think that is them, isn’t it!” I shout, spotting Inko with a small Izuku holding her hand walking towards us. I know it’s them, but Mother hasn’t told us what they looked like, so I have to sound unsure. Mom turns away from Katsuki and smiles happily, recognizing her old friend. “Inko, Izuku, you guys made it.”
“Of course, I wouldn’t miss our baby's first school shopping trip! Thank you for inviting me along.” The green-haired woman says as she lets go of her child’s hand in favor of wrapping her arms around our Mom. “Of course dear, It’s been a while since we’ve hung out together.” Our parents continue chatting as they start to walk into the store. Katsuki, Izuku, and I are following them closely, though I stop myself from taking a few glances at the green-haired boy as we make our way to the school section to start browsing. I think he noticed though because we caught each other's eyes once awkwardly so I stopped. I did notice that Katsuki walked over to Midoryia and started discussing some notebooks they found with All Might’s face on them. Great, there are two of them now. The boys ran over to the adults and showed them what they had found.
“Momma, look what Kaachan and I found!” Izuku exclaims and shows his Mom the notebooks. “He likes All Might too Mom, can we get them please!” Katsuki also proceeds to throw in some other All Might-themed items in the cart. “These too!.” I shake my head and continue to look for the stuff I wanted. I’m not really a huge fan of having people's faces planted on my notebooks…It’s kind of weird.
Mitsuki sighs. “Yes, we can get them,” Mom says as she looks over towards me. “Kazumi, did you find anything you wanted?”
“Um...” I paused at the selection. My god does everything have to be hero-themed around here!? Why can’t I find a plain ass notebook what the fuck. I was about to say no before my eyes caught onto something, so I picked it up from the shelf. Is…that fucking Eraserhead merch, I didn’t even know Aizawa had this. Mom comes closer to me and stares at the book in my hand.
“Is that the one you wanted dear?” She asked. I stare a bit longer at the notebook. Fuck it, I liked him a lot in the Anime anyway. “Yeah, I'll take it.” I said as I walked over to the cart to put it in. Izuku looks at the notebook in amazement.
“You know about Eraserhead too!” He says with a surprised voice. Katsuki looks over. “Who?”
I looked at him after I put the book in. “Umm, not really.” I lied. “He just looked cool so I picked it over the others.”
“You didn't want to grab an All Might one like us?” Izuku asks, confused.
“A-ah well, I didn't want to pick the same one as my brother, so we wouldn't get them confused. “Ooh! I didn't think about that.” I nodded, humming to myself as we continued shopping.
We finished buying what we needed and were now outside in the parking lot. “This was fun Mitsuki, we should set up future play dates now that our kids are going to be in the same class.” Inko says as she takes a hold of Izuku's hand once more.
Mom chuckles softly. “Of course! I'll see you later dear!” She says as we watch the others walk off. “Bye Kaachan, bye Kazuchan! I'll see you guys at school!” Izuku waved with his free hand.
See ya later broccoli head.
