04/24/24: My Wednesday gets! Found some nice things at the fleamarket. First purchase was a pac-man plug and play for $5.00. The guy had a screwdriver and he let me check the inside. No exploded batteries! Nice. I then got a complete DS lite handheld for $40! It has a hello kitty silicon cover and it came with a Veterinary game. So this definitely belonged to a little girl at one time. And as I was paying the guy, he pulled out an original SNES mini controller. I happily paid him the $10 he wanted for it. Next seller had some $2.00 wii games, so I got those too. My last find was some books. I got six of them. Two strategy guides. A hardback comic. Two volumes of the walking dead and a Batman book. I paid the guy $15 for them. And as I was paying him, I saw a guy pick up a manga comic that I must have missed. He skimmed it and then dropped it. So I definitely went back for it. And then I paid a dollar for it. I left the fleamarket a happy person.

I then took a trip to Walmart. There's a few clearance games stragglers hanging around. But I'm still wondering if I should buy them. I'll see what's up in a few days, if I'm desperate. But over in the clearance aisle I got two DC action figures for $4.00 each.

Yet another Walmart clearance post! This time, I drove to the City of Brawley, California. The farther Walmart in the county. Looks like it had good deals as well. But other people got to them first. I saw plenty of empty spaces with five, ten, and fifteen dollar games. A week has passed since these deals came out, so it's to be expected. But I still got some games! And there's a few more that I'll wait on too. Top row was xbone games: Lego Star Wars was $10. Need for speed was $5.00, as well as Saints Row. Next row was ps5 games, I did pay a bit more for these, but they're still cheaper than other retailers. Immortals was $20. Plague Tale was $25. Miraculous was $5.00, and Nickelodeon Kart Racer 3 was $10. Got some cheaper switch games too. A Harvest Moon game for $5.00 is an instant buy. I finally found a No Man's Sky game! There weren't any at my other Walmarts, but this one did. And $10 for it is nice. Also $10 was that Cruisin Racing game. And I also bought Monster Hunter Stories 2 for $25 bucks. Overall, its a nice multi console haul!

Seeing posts that it's the anniversary of the gameboys release! So here's most of my gameboy stuff. I should have another bin somewhere and more games scattered around. I'm a fan of this clear gameboy where you can see it's insides. It's not my original one as that one broke long ago. It's the first model I ever got. So I'm partial to this one. I've been getting games ever since. There's a bunch of great games released over the years. And that's even before pokemon! So where's the love for our portable brick? Let's talk about it.

04/19/24: In one of my Facebook groups, a person said there was a sale on Anime from a company called Sentai. They had some decent deals and usually around this time when I get my tax return, I like to splurge on some titles. It's my first time buying from that site. And I liked their product. I chose these six shows on seven blurays for $77. It got here pretty quick too. I'm excited for Godannar. It's a giant robot/mecha anime. I've been trying to get it complete for years now on dvd. But its out of print. I got a few volumes, plus the carton to hold the whole thing in. But I think I can save time by buying the whole series on bluray for $23. Plus the other series look interesting too. A mix of old a new for my anime bluray collection.

04/19/24: Looks like I went nuts on more clearance games from walmart. Most of these xbone and ps4 ones are at $5 each, and they are finally a good deal now. I'm going to try and sell a few of these in Mexico in my garage sales. But the $10 and $20 ps5 games in the first pic are for me.

I hope your Walmart has got good deals like this. Drive over to one and see if yours has something similar.

04/17/24; My Wednesday fleamarket finds were quite normal and average this week. I've been on a roll lately, and I was hoping today would be the same. Not exactly. My first find was nice, though. I found a bluray of some movie called Dry Blood. I never heard of it before. But what makes this indie? Horror movie special is that it's got autographs of the actors on the cover. There's quite a few on it, and that seems to make it legit. The scribbles do look like the actors' names on IMDB. And the dollar I paid makes this quite nice. Next get was more stuff for a dollar each. A dvd movie, Starring Dave Bautista, and two videogames. Next seller had a quite clean looking copy of Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX on ps1. And $3.00 for it was nice. And then yet another dvd, this time The Faculty for a dollar. On a table full of random toys, I got a larger Transformers figure for $3.00. Lastly, I found an Iron man book and a special looking tray for people's cannabis measurements. If You-know-what-I-mean. Both of those cost me $4.00.

04/16/24: Tomorrow's my big day for finding stuff, but I got some stuff already! On Monday evening, I went to another Walmart to find more clearance, and I did! I found another switch game for $10 and a Transformers toy for$16. And today, Tuesday, before work, I went to one of the thrift stores in town, and I got two Blurays, a ps1 tomb raider game, and a psp basketball game for $10. And finally, after work, it was a trip to gamestop. They have a b2g1 free sale. And I got a chance to go back for a few more of those 3ds games I left behind a few weeks ago. I was going to get one more 3ds title, but this xbone steelbook caught my eye. So I grabbed it instead. Plus, my $5.00 off there, made the sale more sweet.

04/15/24: It must be my local Walmart. It's generous with its clearance. But it doesn't hurt to look through your own store. I saw a few more games go down. These ps5 games I had already on different consoles, but for $20 each clearance, I had to double dip. The Mickey Mouse game was $20 clearance, and the Catan one was $10. So go check yours and maybe you'll get something similar?

04/12/24: Here's another order that came in as well. The other day, I got some manga at the fleamarket. But a few volumes were missing. I checked online on Target's website, the other day, and they had a b2g1 free on books. So I got two volumes of Toilet Bound Hanako Kun. And I needed one more book. So I looked through my old posts and I found one more incomplete Volume from another book series I needed, Blue Period. So there I completed the deal. There was a few more books I wanted. But Target's website didn't have them. But these will do fine. More manga for my collection!

04/12/24: It's been a long and busy day! So now I have a chance to show some Switch stuff that finally came in. I ordered from videogamesplus over a month ago. Since it was a pre-order, nothing shipped out until the item arrived. So that Ys game delayed the rest. I'm too lazy and tired to give you the dollar to Canadian exchange. But the Ys reprint was less than what other online retailers had it for. And Gal Gun I wanted another on switch since I have them on Vita and ps4 already. And the last one was just to get it high enough for free shipping. Yay for stuff!

04/10/24: Wednesday fleamarket day! Here's what I bought. I also got some tables, trays, and other goods to help my mom's recovery for her upcoming surgery. But they're not exactly relevant here. But there is a bit of impulse shopping here to help calm my worrisome self as I am a bit nervous these next few days. First buys were seven OG Xbox games at $2.00 each. Then I found a wii component cable and DS lite charger, both for $5.00. Then it was Resident Evil on UMD for $5.00 too. Followed up with Gran Turismo on ps3 for a dollar. I'm a bit scared to open it, but I hope there's no exploded batteries in the NES wireless controller; but $3.00 is an acceptable risk. The next stall got me a bare ps2 console and eight movies. Some of these are weird, old b-movies, and others DC Comics stuff. But $24 for everything is nice. The last place I got stuff had quirky foreign stuff. I think there's japanese trading cards in two boxes. I've seen the characters before, but I can't place the name of the anime. I also got a coffee cup based on a Capcom game, some more trinkets and finally some micro usb chargers. Total for all of it $12.00. I hope you all have a pleasant week and give a hug to a loved one.
