AI companies are acquiring content across the internet for a variety of purposes in all sorts of ways. There are currently very few regulations giving individuals control over how their content is used by AI platforms. Proposed regulations around the world, like the European Union’s AI Act, would give individuals more control over whether and how their content is utilized by this emerging technology. We support this right regardless of geographic location, so we’re releasing a toggle to opt out of sharing content from your public blogs with third parties, including AI platforms that use this content for model training. We’re also working with partners to ensure you have as much control as possible regarding what content is used.

Here are the important details:

We already discourage AI crawlers from gathering content from Tumblr and will continue to do so, save for those with which we partner. 

We want to represent all of you on Tumblr and ensure that protections are in place for how your content is used. We are committed to making sure our partners respect those decisions.

To opt out of sharing your public blogs’ content with third parties, visit each of your public blogs’ blog settings via the web interface and toggle on the “Prevent third-party sharing” option.

referring to your previous tags you could try squidgeworld archive/SqWA! it’s a fork of ao3 (aka it’s based off of ao3’s open source code, but is not run by it or OTW’s staff) so it works basically the same with a few cosmetic changes! It’s not as big as ao3 so the catalogue is small, but it’s growing a lot rn bc a lot of ppl are starting to move their fics there (& it has a policies against AI + csem/p*do stuff that ao3 doesn’t)

If anything I'd love to have a place to move my fics even if I won't use it often - since it was my first time hearing about the ai scraping on it ao3 too. Therefore I'd love to just get my fics off of there. thank you boss I'll look into it ♥⁠╣⁠[⁠-⁠_⁠-⁠]⁠╠⁠♥

Because I've had a very dry drawing spell I thought: let's make a text post explaining one opinion I have. Cuz I never do it and maybe it'll be fun.

I don't really like Deadfoot x Ashfoot personally. I don't think there's anything super wrong with anyone liking it god no, I've seen a lot of funny and cute content with them as center pieces and it's fun, I just don't like it and I've been asked why a few times. So here is why

It's not because of the timeline weirdness. As we know the only time Crowfeather's dad is mentioned (only mentioned) as being Deadfoot is in Crowfeather's trial and there's been a few discussions as to how the timeline of that is strange and confusing. But when they are canonized again it is in Onestar's confession. (My most hated book. Yipiieee)

In which Deadfoot is already deputy, presumably an older warrior and a mentor to Onewhisker, Onepaw. Who in this book was given two sisters, Morningflower and Ashfoot. Not from a separate litter. All form the same litter and all the same age.

Which is why you can see why it's weird to me. Because I like Deadfoot and I don't like the idea of him dating someone who is so much younger than him honestly. Again there doesn't have to be anything creepy about it, sure. It's all off screen mostly and presumably they got together as adults, and he wasn't HER mentor, they probably had a very good loving relationship. But I just can't get behind it personally. And with the context of this book of cannonizing so many gross dynamics I just can't bring myself to not look at it weirdly.

And again you can like this if you think it's fun. Maybe you don't care about this book and just heard it in Crowfeather's trial and liked it. (as you should. I think we should pretend that Onestar's book didn't happen because I don't want to think about breezepelt and heathertail being first fucking cousins and shit.)

I'm just not! The biggest fan. Is how I see it. In my rewrite which I will finish one day- it's a point that Crowfeather's dad is a loner, and Ashfoot shares this privately with two of her friends, and it's a discussion of how half clan cats are viewed under Tallstar's reign. And how it'd be different with Mudclaw etc etc . Because I just like the setup much better. In the rewrite Onestar's also an only kitten cuz what the actual fuck. He is one of the said friends.

Yeah that's all. Just my thoughts. This book is a fucking a stain on my mind ugghhh. UGHHHHHHH

for ashfur! maybe a bit predictable but it works well i think i was so ready to give mothwing de selby (part 1) but i realised i already used which. i never said i wasnt gonna do but i dunno i dont wanna re-use it. go check it out either way it's good. it deals with her atheist problems and its a great fit. for something that can be her and all of her relationships honestly :
