Theres absoloutely no sane reason as to why i put myself through so much for love. From the outside looking in im well aware that my choices are ignorant and destructive .. i see the warning signs and i blow right past them.. every single time. But now im at a crucial point- the point where my heart and mind have finally had a meeting and said OK, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. YOU CANNOT DO THIS ANYMORE. ITS TEARING YOU APART. .. and theyre right, I'm miserable. I know my worth as a person. I know what i deserve and i know how i should be treated- it's time for me to start acting like it and STOP letting my heart lead the way. Who sits and watches the person they care about talk to multiple ppl saying they love them while never hearing it back themselves? Who blindly picks up and drops off the person they care about at random girls houses even though its like receiving a slap in the face every time? Who watches the person they care about get into relationships with everyone else because they're too good of a "friend"? Who lays down an cries at night because i know he will never touch me with the same love and affection i pray for. This has all been me. I know how pathetic it sounds. I know id never let this happen if it were anyone else. I know i deserve to be treated a thousand times better and loved for who i am... yet the heart is blind and dumb. The heart has lead the way for too many months now and no matter how hard it is i have to take back control. I've been used to to the point where enough is enough. No more putting my feelings on the back burner, no more hoping and wishing for something that's never going to happen. Its high time i wake up. Im breaking my own heart now and its not easy. In fact, I've failed a few times but I'm not going to give in this time. I deserve to be the one he says he loves on the other line- yet im not and never will be so its time to fall back as far as i possibly can. Its time to heal and open my eyes to reality. He simply doesnt care so neither should i. Boss up bitch this is going to hurt, but youve got this.
