Ghee Roast with tomato curry and kattan chaya Its a quick curry that you can make with minimal ingredients and goes very well with dosa, neer dosa or even idli. Recipe (4 ppl) Ingredients Tomato - 3 Garlic - 5 - 6 cloves crushed Coconut grated - handful Jeera - 1 tsp Green chillies - 2 Chilli Powder - 1 tsp Haldi - 1 tsp Curry leaves - few Mustard - 2 tsp Method In a kadai, add oil and mustard and curry leaves, once the mustard splutters add diced tomatoes, garlic cloves and chilli mix well and cover and cook on low flame. Once the tomatoes are cooked, mash it well and add haldi and red chilli powder and cook until the raw smell goes, add 1/2 cup water and cook well. Once that is ready add salt to taste. In a mixer add coconut and jeera, make a fine paste once the tomato is ready add this mixture and mix well and let it boil for sometime. Mix well and serve. Continuing the rainy day lunch, todays lunch is a special one and close to heart. Loved by everyone at home and enjoyed equally. Made these cheesy garlic bread from scratch for yesterdays tea and it did turn out well. I know it doesnt look perfect but still wanted to celebrate small joys. 😊😊 Though the first time i made it, it was so hard to eat but i am happy i tried it again and managed to make something more edible 😆😆😆 The recipe i used was from @hebbars.kitchen , though in her recipe it said to bake it for 15 mins at 180° , i baked it for 17-18 mins to get the top slightly brown. I love to try new things and baking was always on my list but i mess it up most of the times, but this time i am happy that it turned out pretty awesome... 😊😊😊 For the filling i used cheese with mixed herbs and chilli flakes.
