Wishing everyone a contentful Easter, as well as a great day of Transgender Visibility! ^^
Coincidentally, they both fell on the same day this year! What makes this really special is that it happens to be a very rare occurence, as the next collision is said to be on 2086!
Originally this would've had a lighter tone as I only wanted to see how cute Moth would look in a raincoat, but even intentions can differ from the results sometimes
A gift for minersjob (Twitter), featuring their OC, Garrett :]
The two wild critters were readying for an ambush, but little did they know about their prey coming prepared. It took quite a turn, and so did the mantidfly as it experienced the ranger's devastating blow.
Reblogging this in case if any of you want to participate
Art Raffle 2: Art-lectric Booga-Drew!
(Gods, that name’s a stretch.)
My second un-annual art raffle is happening again! This’ll go until next Monday, where up to 4 winners will be selected. This is also being run on my “twitter” account, and you can join in from there as well to get a greater chance to win.
Also, this pic above was originally formatted for “twitter” so don’t mind the “comment your OC” part, just when you’re reposting, to simply add your OC ref sheet in the repost, thank you!
A crossover fanart with Creepy Castle and my WIP fan character. Thanks to Leif, Leppie has developed a strong passion towards card games, and they oftentimes play a game or two whenever they hang out :]
I don't have an exact description of their persona, but I'm planning to flesh them out as I make more art of them. Leif plays an important role in their character, as he is the magic tutor for Leppie. They play a support role in teams, and almost never attack their opponents directly. They have an extroverted nature, and they often travel around worlds with their parents or friends to meet new people, with Team Snakemouth being one of the first few to meet outside their homeland.
(I started working on this piece for a while now, but was too lazy to finish it heh)
A bit of side-note: instead of GIMP, I gave Krita a try with this piece, as a friend of mine were recommending me it in the past, and hooo boy! So far, the tool wheel and the customizable color mixing gradients are my favorite :D (although I haven’t used the latter feature much atm, just a little experience of what it could do). It’s quite easy to get used to, too!
Characters from left to right are Lemi (from an upcoming game called "Tracks of Thought") and Aletris (from the game "Social Moth"). They're both enbies! :]
Hopefully there'll be more before the end of the month
For years, legends told of an enormous keep towering among the united indie game realms. Void of any inhabitants, it towered over the rest of the land as an eternal reminder of greater mysteries afoot. That is, it was a legend... until a beam of light pierced from the heavens, lighting the keep with an ethereal shine that could be seen from every corner of the planet. In the wake of it all rose stone walls that rivaled the titans in their size. Embedded in those walls were gates that bore a message for every realm.
"We invite you, heralds of a great land hidden from the larger universe, to reach out to worlds far beyond what you have ever seen. Bring one of your greatest representatives from each realm, then proceed towards the grand keep. Eight of you will be eligible to challenge us, the greatest of your kind, for the rite of passage... oh, and you may get this shiny cube of miracles! We will be watching."
96 games, 8 victors, and a champion's keep of grand mystery. This is Season III of Indie Tourney!
What you see of course is just a framework of what is to come. More than half of the brackets have yet to be revealed! As I continue to work on this season, I'll be unveiling one bracket each day, which means 4 games united under a certain theme!
When the season begins, each voting period will see 3 brackets compete at once, with polls to vote for each game in the bracket. Starting this season, each voter may also contribute up to 3 additional comments that praise the game for its specific strengths... or highlight a personal value that the game contributed to the voter's life! These comments count as 1 extra vote each, so if there's a game you want to see win... bring that passion forward! Tell people to play your favorite game, then perhaps give the other games a peek as well.
Right! I will see you all tomorrow for the reveal of the "Heart of the Cards" bracket! (that's the 13th bracket whose realm is shaped like a spade on the bottom) Perhaps you can predict which games will be competing based on the bracket name?
That's all for now for this precursor. Thank you all for reading, and I genuinely hope to see you all cheer your favorite indie games on when the season begins ^^
As Silksong has had a gameplay trailer released in the last month, I figured I would draw something related to the game. While I may have not played Hollow Knight myself, I know a couple of friends who (including Fiddlehead ofc) enjoy it (and also The Binding of Isaac).
This was quite fun to draw, for the most part. The rose floor was bit more complicated, but I managed. (don't tell anyone, but the floor was actually made of 3d rose heads with a gradient map applied to it lol)
Today is Transgender Day of Visibility, so I decided to draw this.
On the left is Butterfly, one of the main protagonists of Creepy Castle. On the right is Hollowtones, a streamer who had also voiced Dr Coomer in HLVRAI. And also played Creepy Castle, which is how I first found her lol.
Sharing is Caring (Creepy Castle Valentine’s Day art)
Here, Butterfly is taking care of Moth, after he was injured in a supposedly friendly competition between him and Bee (which, of course, Bee took a bit too seriously). They both enjoy the heart-shaped, strawberry-glazed tiny chocolate cake they're eating together! ^^
They originally meant to eat fish, but rather made it this way, so it fits the Valentine's Day theme better.
