After Katniss got back from her first Games, she states that things weren't the same with Gale anymore. He loved her the way that she was. And honestly he has changed too. They both felt like this version of them was undeserving of the other one's love. And that whole song is just so them from both of their perspectives especially "So if I sell my apartment and you have some kids with an internet starlet, will that make your memory fade from this scarlet maroon, like it never happened?"

Sell my apartment = Gale moving to D2, Katniss moving in with Peeta

Kids with an internet starlet = Katniss having kids with Peeta and wondering if Gale has found someone, if he has a wife and kids with her (you can't tell me she wouldn't be jealous at the thought)

I think I might be projecting because I don't like songs unless I can relate them to my favorite fictional characters and this is my favorite from the album.

But this song is just tragic even without them (Karlie Kloss, what did you do, Karlie Kloss?)

I'm going to preface this by saying that I'm queer. Seeing all these "Gaylor" theories that have been going around for years makes me so mad. As a queer person I love to analyze literature and other types of media through a queer lens. However I only do this when the media is purely fictional. Speculating on someone's sexuality whether it be gay or straight is wrong, invasive, and toxic. I'm a swiftie, I love seeing what Taylor does to promote her music and I love to see her happy. If you relate to a song of hers because it captures a feeling you've felt even if that has anything to do with being gay is fine. I've done that. However, saying that this makes Taylor anything other than what she says she is so intrusive. Saying that people who think she's straight have no proof because she's never stated that directly is extremely hypocritical seeing that she's never said she was queer yet you over-analyze her lyrics to be queer-coded yet when other fans do the same thing to prove she is straight you push it down and say "There's no proof" or you pull the homophobia card. I'm neutral about her sexuality and couldn't care less who she dates. However what I do care about is the fact that so many people call themselves fans and continue to invade her personal life with theories. I feel this about people who obsess over her relationships with men as well. All we should ever care about is her music. That's why we're fans in the first place. It's sad that people forget that these are real people who can get harmed when rumors like this are spread, queer or straight. No matter how many "Easter eggs" you think she hides, this isn't okay.

Just remember that in another universe Peeta died instead of Finnick, Katniss realized that *DUH* people are gonna die in a war, she and Gale had a heart-to-heart conversation and talked about their feelings and they ended up together and also had LOTS of therapy. Also in that alternative universe I'm fucking Haymitch bc f u brainrot. We were all just born in a wrong universe where that doesn't happen.

If you’re European, in a couple of weeks you will be denied any and all access to fandom contents on Tumblr and everywhere else on the internet. Here’s why.

On June, 20th the JURI of European Parliament approved of the articles 11 and 13 of the new Copyright Law. These articles are also known as the “Link Tax” and the “Censorship Machines” articles.

Articles 13 in particular forces every internet platform to filter all the contents we upload online, ending once and for all the fandom culture. Which means you won’t be able to upload any type of fandom works like fan arts, fan fictions, gif sets from your favourite films and series, edits, because it’s all copyrighted material. And you won’t also be able to share, enjoy or download other’s contents, because the use of links will be completely restricted.

But not everything’s lost yet. There’s another round of voting scheduled for the early days of July.

What you can do now to save our internet, is to share these informations with all of your family members and friends, and to ask to your MEP (the members of the European Parliament from your country) to vote NO at the next round, to vote against articles 11 and 13.
