Recently happened to me. Had a bad day, had to cancel plans, the person told me they understood, and then a couple days later they texted me basically shaming me for having mental health issues that day, BUT they did say "no disregard or dismissing of how you felt Christmas day, but it was hurtful that you didn't come through"... and then went on to explain why it was "hurtful" to them, completely dismissing the fact that I was not functioning right that day... fucking crazy.

I no longer speak to them 👍🏿🤭

I agree. I've been attacked too many times by someone I care about, all because their communication skills are not on my maturity level and they express negativity when they don't like something... Which is all the time, dang near. Any advice on that?
