Tumblr media
All eyes will be on CBS' Battle Creek this fall, since it's Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan's star-studded follow-up to his wildly successful series run on AMC. The pilot was also directed by executive producer Bryan Singer (yes, that Bryan Singer). While you're watching, look out for Metaphor's Carl Bressler, a strong feature actor you may also recognize from the films The Usual Suspects (also directed by Singer), Timber Falls, and the upcoming Something About Her.
Battle Creek, written by Gilligan and House creator David Shore, stars Breaking Bad's Dean Winters and Josh Duhamel as a detective and FBI agent who have different worldviews but are teamed up to clean up the semi-mean streets of Battle Creek, Michigan.

Cameron Britton in new feature film "Camp Takota"
Tumblr media
We at Metaphor Entertainment have some very cool news! This past week a very exciting new film "Camp Takota," was released online. The film stars YouTube vloggers Grace Helbig (It’s Grace), Hannah Hart (My Drunk Kitchen), and Mamrie Hart (You Deserve a Drink). Metaphor Entertainment's very own Cameron Britton is a supporting lead in the film. Not only are we excited he was a part of such a fun film, but this is also Cameron's first debut film!! The cast loved working with Cameron and thought he was hilarious! Not only that but both the Director and Producer also liked working with Cameron and thought he brought a great level of comedy into the film. Cameron has also appeared in Disney's "Lab Rats," and in the TV series "Unusual Suspects." You can check out more about Cameron by visiting his IMDB page.
"Camp Takota" is about a woman revisiting and working at her old summer camp after her big life in the city falls apart. This may sound depressing but if you've watched any of these ladies in action on YouTube, you'll know that you're in for a more comedic surprise. And rumor has it that Cameron's character (Chet) has a, wink wink, love affair with Mamrie's character. Who would have thought that the camp goofy groundsman and freshman camp counselor would be in the throws of love, but we're not one to ruin any surprises. Be sure to check out the the movie online and see for yourself! http://camptakota.com/
Here are some pictures from the red carpet premiere for your viewing pleasure.

Auteur Directors
Tumblr media
Jane Spencer is the director of the beloved low-budget indie feature Little Noises that premiered at Sundance some years ago to ecstatic reviews— and enamored audiences, and of Faces On Mars, which premiered in Europe at Solothurn.
Her new film, The Ninth Cloud, which is being repped for distribution by Shoreline Entertainment is a dreamy, surreal marvel in which follows  a young woman, Zena, as she tries to find answers to the meaning of existence, which could do very well on the 2014 international festival circuit.
Make sure to keep an eye out for this gem of a movie that will co star Metaphor's Josh Feinman and will be be opening in select theaters internationally starting 2014.

Catch a sneak peak of Hallmark's Reading, Writing & Romance starring Metaphor's Cassandra Braden alongside Eric Mabius and Virginia Williams, and Stephanie Powers.
The story centers on struggling actor Wayne Wenders (Eric Mabius) who is comically famous for starring in a low-budget commercial for Irritable Bowel Syndrome medication, a reputation he is hoping to change when he finally lands a starring role in a national root beer ad. But when the paycheck for his big break is delayed, Wayne looks for other options to pay his increasingly late rent and ends up interviewing for a gig teaching Shakespeare at the local high school. Principal Brenda Post (Stefanie Powers) hires Wayne for his natural theatrical talent and enthusiasm, but Wayne is soon surprising himself with his love of the job—and for fellow English teacher Amy (Virginia Williams), who is immediately impressed with Wayne’s passion and his idea to teach the students with an exciting film project. As Wayne's understanding of teaching develops and his relationship with Amy evolves, he must ultimately decide if his dreams of stardom are really worth sacrificing everything for.
Make sure to catch this heart felt film on the Hallmark Channel!
