Honestly I've seen a bunch of works on ao3 that were obviously inspired by broken crown (all they did was make me think "they want what you have"), but they were only ever that - inspired. But this, this is just disgusting, to steal someone else's work and present it as their own.

Jeez! I will reiterate that author apologized profusely. But I didn’t realize other writers also were inspired by BC. But… I’m incredibly flattered by that! I should really get back into the fandom and read some stories.

That being said, I did just find out that someone made a TikTok about Broken Crown… THAT HAS GOT ME SHAKIN IN MY BOOOTS

Now that the mcu really explored Loki's character in a way the movies never got to, how do you think it would have influenced Broken Crown if you were writing it after watching the show? Or, what changes would you make if you were to rewrite it after the fact?

Wow. I love this question!!!

I don’t think I would do a rewrite or change anything after watching the show.

Maybe if the show came out before I would have stolen pieces of dialogue to make it feel more “canon” but other than that… I don’t think so!

Sorry if this is weird but a lot of moments in the Loki show made me think about your fic broken crown. Like Loki wanting to "restart" his relationship with mobius in episode 2 after his tricks, or chasing desperately after him when they walked trying to explain himself. Also when he said "you can't trust and I can't be trusted" is similar to when the reader says "alone and I can't trust". Anyway you just really hit the nail on the head with his character and broken crown is my favourite piece of fanfiction of any franchise

This is so incredible and amazing and actually just gave me such inspiration to write more Loki. This is so incredible that you thought of my characterization while watching.
