I think this will be my new Vesica case. My other case has been with me for nearly 4 years and after some pretty big adventures, it’s time to retire it. I could pull out the thread and put in my soft plastics bin for recycling and compost the case. Or add it to my little collection of sentimental water bottle skins. 🤔 I’ve had the same strap 5 years and stainless steel bottle 6 years. So I’ll swap them out. Would have my OG bottle, but years ago while I was away getting coffee, a lovely market stall neighbour unknowingly sold it to time poor potential customer. ...It does just look like all the rest hanging there. They couldn’t wait for my return and the deal was done. #easycomeeasygo I hand craved my first leather water bottle case in 2007, from then I’ve committed to reusing one bottle. Tonight we fly home to #Australia after nearly 3 months of #adventure We camped in #yosemite for a couple of nights last wk but it's so cold this time of year the #water in our #bottles were frozen when we woke. We left and headed nth up the 395 to stay one night at Willow Grove in a old timely #wagon , but it wasn't very air tight or much warmer than our tent. Although good to sleep on a real mattress and the owners gave us extra extra blankets to keep us warm. 💭Imagine crossing the country w all your worldly possessions and your family in one of these. #earlysettlers #migration Home soon to our home, bed, studio and kitties 🐱 🐱 All the homes we've been welcomed in and random places we've slept these last few months have been such a blessing.
