I can’t recall all the characters here but some scenes are from ‘Fiery Priest’ (Kdrama), ‘Copycat Killer’ (Taiwanese drama), ‘MER’ (Jdrama), ‘Mad Dog’ (Kdrama) and ‘Bad and Crazy’ (Kdrama).

Also, the mc in ‘Copycat Killer’ (bottom left) goes thru it. Exhausted most of the series and doesn’t have a great time (emotional whump). For those interested in another whumpy show it can be watched on Netflix.

Whumpy web-novel rec~

Hello y’all, just gotta say ‘Dominions End’ has some 💯 real nice whump scenes. Most centre on the mc, Jiang Shuyu (who has a tendency for self-sacrifice) and it kicks off with some malnourished/fever whump.

Its a Chinese novel by Yu Wo (a lot of her novels have good whump. I’d recommend ‘Legend of the Sun Knight’ too.) and official translations of all her novels can be read free on princerevolution.org

Whump aside, its a good read and set during a ‘zombie’ apocalypse. (Plus there is snazzy cover art and character info in some chapters)

The synopsis: ‘The red meteor shower rained across the sky, a black fog engulfed the world. After waking from a night of torture and agony, Humans discovered they no longer dominated the world. —The hunters have become the hunted.’
