Almost Human

The plot:

A world perverse to mankind, a world filled with Alphas, Betas, Omegas... a chain of hierarchy that the mere human mind can not comprehend. Weres, humans, and daemons live amongst each other. That is until the calamity. Gray Fever, a disease that started within the bloodlines of weres, had been discovered. The illness didn't seem too bad, just another common cold... then the crazies started to erupt. It spread through the were communities until it didn't. Gray Fever evolved and began its infection among the humans, ravaging their brains and bodies, driving its victims into a slow, brutal insanity.

Gray Fever caused a great divide among the world. Weres were ostracized, patronized, and hunted by many humans who had given themselves the title of Hunters. With the great divide between species, the world is crumbling in a sick game of cat and mouse between species with one goal in mind: survive.

"You're nothing but a lying, cheating, murderous fucking bastard!" You yell whilst being haphazardly ushered into the infirmary of the Saviors compound. Your heart pounded deep in your chest; each thundering beat rang in your ears.

Negan let's out a dry chuckle as he licked his lips in thought. Your words seeming to fall upon unphased ears. "Well excuse the god damn shit out of me, but I would have at least expected a thank you. I mean, I did save your ass after all. S'there anything else you'd like to say, hmm? C'mon...I know you've got more in ya."

Your blood was boiling. Was he being serious right now? The tension from you gritting your own teeth made your gums throb. You wanted nothing more than to stab the son of a bitch right between his eyes. "Fuck you. FUCK. YOU."

The corner of his lips quirked upwards in an amused smirk. He was enjoying this, and you hated it. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think you're making me an offer." He remarks coyly. There's a dangerous glint to his eyes as he tilts his head to the side ever so slightly.

"Don't flatter yourself," you bit back with annoyance. You hated how easily he was able to get under your skin. How easy he made it for you to hate him. How difficult he made it to keep you from wondering what it would be like to be at his disposal. You curse yourself silently at the thought. "I would rather chew my own fucking hand off."
