The doctor who characters if they played chess (disclaimer I can’t play chess)

Nine and Rose:

Rose wouldn’t actually know how to play but nine would teach her and let her win.

Nine and Jack:

Involve more flirting (from Jack) than actually playing.

Ten and Rose:

They would be more focused on having fun than playing. Each would win based on how distracted the other got.

Ten and Martha:

They can both play but not very well. Ten would get very annoyed when he lost.

Ten and the Master:

Literal life and death.

Ten and Donna:

Sarcasm. Shouting. No one wins.

Ten and River:

Ten would lose because River knows how he plays chess. He is convinced she is cheating but she just replies with ‘spoilers’.

Eleven and Amy:

He would teach her but forget how to play whilst teaching her so it’s a bit of a mess.

Rory and Amy:

Rory is convinced he knows the rules. Amy isn’t as sure.

Eleven and River:

River would win. Let’s be honest Eleven would play like a child 😂.

Eleven and Clara:

He’s still convinced he knows how to play.

Twelve and Clara:

If he lost he would say he let her win.

Twelve and River:

I can totally imagine them playing on darillium. Anyway. Very competitive and a lot of flirty jokes from River.

Twelve and Bill:

He would teach her but she would learn extremely fast and beat him. The doctor is not happy about that.

Bill and River:

Yes I know they’ve never met. Flirting. Bill cannot concentrate. River would win but Bill literally would not care.

Twelve and Missy:

Very tense. They would talk about stuff throughout the entire game though. End with the board being flipped over.

Twelve and Nardole:

A casual game to pass the time. Nardole would be surprisingly good.

Thirteen and Yaz:

Thirteen would teach Yaz but then get distracted with eating custard creams.

Thirteen and Graham:

Very chill game. They would talk about life whilst playing.

Thirteen and Ryan:

She would try to teach him but they would both give up cause she doesn’t really know how.

Thirteen and the Master:

Again literal life and death. They would talk about their childhood and stuff aswell.

I feel like this is weirdly specific but it was fun.
