Started with the feeling that the book talks about the two major genders....but ended up shutting the book at mere 10 pages!!!!!!yess you heard it right.....i couldn't give it any more time because....it was imposing the idea that Men are supposed to be like this only, Women are supposed to be like this only... To cut the long story short....the book is just not at all flexible with it's ideas regarding two major genders.... it's actually Black and White in it's opinion about the concept of genders!!

The swans ring the bell to be fed at the Bishop’s Palace, Wells, Somerset.
The tradition of Swans on the Moat at The Bishop’s Palace( adjacent to Wells Cathedral) goes back to 1870’s when one of Bishop Hervey’s daughters first taught the swans to ring a bell at the Gatehouse for for lunch to be fed to them by the caretakers who live in the gatehouse.
You can see the bell just beneath the window of the Gatehouse, with a rope hanging down for the swans to pull.
New generations of swans learn to ring the bell from their parents.

The Expiry Label
Excerpt from “ Aimless in Banaras “ by Bishwanath Ghosh : Death is certain. We all are born with labels that bear an expiry date. Only that we never get to look at the label.
Excerpt from “ Tuesdays with Morrie “ by Mitch Albom : Maybe death is the great equalizer , the one big thing that can finally make strangers shed tears for one another .
The above excerpts are a prove that the idea of death bears a lot of perspective. Some consider it the ultimate truth , some consider it the obvious end. But are we really rooting for it ? or are we actually interested in seeking what is actually beyond it ??
The idea of life after death is still a matter which intrigues a lot many of us. We still are looking for something which actually fits to our idea of after life. There are many mouths saying a 100 different versions of life after death, some consider it to be a science while some call it religious blasphemy.
However , a recent study says that our soul immediately after death go through an interim subtle region in the universe known as the “ Region of Dead “ it is believed that in this region the subtle body gets accustomed to it’s new state without a gross body.
Now , this information here suggests to its readers that souls after leaving the earth resides in it’s region of death which is actually a realm in between the earth and the heaven. So they suggest that there is a possibility of life after death, that the departed soul do have a place to go after leaving this earth.
If we go back in history , there exist a lot many faiths , believes and traditions which talks about life after death. One such faith which interests me is the faith followed by the Celts, they are 1000 year old a cult who worshipped pagan gods ( tradition of worshiping the natural phenomenon like the sun , moon , winds etc. ) celts believed in life after death because it was traced that they buried food , weapons and ornaments with the dead. The priests of the celts known as Druids , they preached the idea of transmigration of souls after death and also discussed about the nature and the power of gods.
Now if we travel back in the current times, the idea of death and after life is very beautifully compiled by the very humble Sadguru , “ When someone dies we say , This person is no more , That is not true . The person is no more the way you know them , but they still very much exist . The physical body will fall apart , but the mental body go on, depending upon the strength of the karma “.
These words by Sadguru are layered in itself , the reader needs to peel out each of these layers word by word only to find out that how artistically sadguru has put forward the idea of life after death. Indeed the dead person is not infront of us right now but that does not mean that the person donot exist anymore, he or she exists but in some other form. The line “ the person is no more the way you know them “ is actually an indication which explains that souls start their eternal life after death, some take other forms , some just remain free from taking any birth, but they surely do exist.
The journey of a soul from birth to ending their earthly life to life after death is still a thing which people all around the globe is trying to figure out. People from every field is working on it from tantriks to scientists every one of us is intrigued to find out how does the journey happens to continue ones you stop breathing.
But at the end , it is only and only death which makes even the richest man on earth leave their expensive possessions behind and lie down amongst all those strangers which might or might not be as rich or as powerful as him.
That is my friend how death looks upon each one of us.

When roads seems to be your best friend,
The trees are your most amazing company,
And the blue sky seems to be flirting with you in it's own subtle ways,
Indeed nature not only gives me my strength but also my fair shares of joy and happiness ✨💜

First downpour of the season brought with it a sense of melancholic nostalgia,
listening to raindrops on my windowpane brought me to edge, to perhaps reminisce,
of times long gone, distant memories, lost within many dimensions of time itself;
I wondered about bygones, a seemingly forbidden territory, yet inviting nonetheless,
there's nothing about past one can undo or even modify, and it is indeed a journey,
prizing itself on one's better intentions, to come out on top, or else be toppled over altogether.

The sun has now reached on its last few rays for the day, the sky seems to celebrate it by embracing its departure with a tint of pink and purple shades, the leaves also seems to bathe in this embracement as they now glow with three different shades,
The nature no doubt is constantly reminding us that it is always beautiful to embrace someone on their departure, but one should also realise that this should not be lasting forever as it is necessary to let go also,
If the sky donot let the sun step down of it's duty of spreading light today, then can we ever see the daylight the next day??

To be the dull pebble-
not the shine your eyes catch,
I tremble.
Lift me with the laughter of festivities…
for it is not distance but, silence that kills me.

Ikkyu Reiterations: Relinquish
I stop at each blade of grass,
stare at each tree’s leaf’s tremble,
stir at your slightest touch—
I am a ghost lost in the wood.

"I've" (I have) by Andrew Kelly
I’ve thought myself broken…
I’ve thought myself confident.
Proud.
I’ve found myself, lonesome…
in a crowd.
I’ve tied the blindfold, blinding…
binding.
hold.
Accepting the average…
soulless sold.
I’ve tasted your spit…
And generations of hate with it.
I’ve come in peace,
I’ve won…
I’ve loss.
I’ve shed tears, similar to yours.
I’ve walked… I’ve climbed.
It rains; it pours.
I’ve even seen it,
on sunny days….
——————————————————
I’ve never known you,
and…
I’ve been,
with you.
I’ve been lost…
Found.
I’ve been left.
Forgotten…
Center, and right.
I’ve been first,
Last…
Included and excluded,
from the laughs.
I’ve been there…
I’ve never been you,
But…
I’ve been here.

being a person of words
it's still not easy to say things
not all of the times
and not everything
so on some days i hold back
on some things i hold back
and they never leave my mind
to reach your mind
what i hold back is why i need you
i don't say it because i'm scared
i'm scared of how you will react
and how you will behave then
i don't say that i'm scared
scared that you will eventually
turn out like all the others
and leave me stranded alone
i don't say that you are light
that in my dark world you are
the only star twinkling above
i don't say that you are
the only good thing that has
happened to me in my life
i don't say that you are
somebody i cannot lose
at any possible cost
i don't say that i'm uncertain
about your and mine tomorrow
i don't say a million things
but what i do is that i'm here
and i love you
and hey,
i am here, and i love you.
~ shreeya.
