Here's my OC
Milread “Millie” Leith, Daughter of Neptune!
Millie was born in Scotland in 1897. At first, her mother tries to keep her divine heritage a secret, but she is forced to come clean after monster attacks destroy their home. Thankfully, they meet a veteran satyr who is able to both help keep them safe and give Millie some early combat training. Though she learns her lessons well, Millie is understandably very frustrated with her situation. She wants to actually go out and live her life, something she can't do because of the constant monster attacks, leading her to see her demigod status as more a curse than anything else. At the same time, she is kind, friendly (if a bit sarcastic) and brave to a fault. She knows that the monsters will be more than happy to eat other mortals if they can't get tasty demigod, and she has the power and ability to prevent that from happening. She may hate that she has to do it, but she will never hesitate to step in when someone is in danger.
When Millie is 15, she learns about a haven in America where demigods can be safe and she can get training that her kindly satyr guardian cannot provide. Though hesitant to leave her mother and mentor behind, they insist that she go, pooling what little money they have to secure passage across the Atlantic. Bidding her mother a tearful farewell, Millie heads to Southhampton and boards a ship bound for New York City. However, five days into the voyage, a massive beast attacks the ship. Where the Mist makes the passengers and crew of the RMS Titanic see a massive iceberg, the Daughter of Neptune sees the Trojan Sea Monster, eager to devour the half-blood and the mortals with her. Unwilling to let more people die, she attacks, buying as much time as she can for the passengers to escape the doomed liner. Millie ends up going down with the ship, but as his injured child falls into the depths, Neptune takes pity on her, collecting the frigid water to seal her in ice. There Millie waits, frozen in the sea for nearly a century until she makes her way to the California coast. Luckily, the Lost Trio are having a beach day and are able to free her.
Now living in the modern world, Millie is naturally a little rattled over having to adjust to the severe culture shock. Thankfully, now that she is living among a vast collection of peers, namely Percy, she is now offered a degree of freedom and relief that she never had before. She takes full advantage of new societal norms by trying out increasingly unorthodox haircuts and trying her had at just about every hobby under the sun, rarely sticking to the same thing for too long. Some would see this as overindulgent or fickle, but in reality, Millie loves life. After spending her entire life fighting for survival and her father giving her a second shot at it, she sees every day, game, meal, and friend as something to be savored.
Still, this doesn't mean she's lost her edge. Befitting a child of the Big Three who spent half her formative years training and the other half fighting, Millie can be a ferocious warrior if need be. As a daughter of the sea god, she has many of the same abilities as Percy, but her Roman origins make them manifest in different ways. She still has power over the water, but she has a much stronger affinity for freshwater over the sea, more at home in a river or lake than in the open ocean. Far more prevalent is her power over the earth, truly living up to the name Earthshaker by breaking rocks with little effort, molding sand to suit her purposes, and unleashing earthquakes if she gets angry enough. She expresses her Roman side in physical combat as well, though this is also influenced by her isolated status at the beginning. Instead of a legionary, she built herself into a gladiator, her purpose being strictly to fight and kill. She is a retiarius, fighting with a trident and net, the weapons of the sea. Any enemy caught in her stare is quickly taken out with a clean, precise thrust. Millie is gentle at her core and does not go looking for fights, but if there is fighting to be done, she can be utterly ruthless. And if she so much as glimpses you threatening the people she loves...well, let's just hope the Fates are looking on you kindly that day.
tell us about your pjo ocs!! tell us your headcanons, their appearances, if you feel like they might get along with other ocs that you or others have !! this is pretty much a judge-free, get your ideas out space i have my own pjo oc and i'll share him just to get it started!! Hector Campbell is one of the many sons of Athena. As a twin, Athena created him to be the battle half; he isn't good at reading emotions or reading other people, but give him a task and a battle zone map and he's got it all figured out. He's even apart of a rogue demigod group I'm willing to talk more about (literally, my mind is 30% this man and his friends). He has a lot of street smarts and is trained in cityscape mobility as an errand runner and sentinel for said rogue demigod group. Since the rogue demigods are all practically homeless, Hector is a little ratty and scrawny. He's malnourished, so his height has been progressing much later and much less than it would if he were healthy. He has dirty blond, tangled wavy hair, a leather cap, a camera, and usually a black jacket. And, if you have a PJO OC, to me, you've gotta have a weapon for them too . . . So I picked up a stop sign. Yes, this man is walking around with a massive stop sign strapped to his back. Yes, he gets weird looks. He absolutely gets asked if he stole the stop sign. He actually got it from a pile of scrapped metal. Hector’s a moody, snarky little guy. He’s a demigod; the son of Athena. He’s skeptical and cautious, with a biting sense of sarcasm and slightly dark humor. As expected of all children of Athena, he’s very intelligent and witty, but he also has not-so-good morals. He's a good guy, he's just strange. He does what he needs to survive, and he was raised to not be warm and cozy because he didn’t trust others, and they didn’t trust him so go ahead and share your own ocs if you want!!

The Big Three DC Superheroes are generally represented to be Wonder Woman, Superman, and Batman, whom, evaluating their core functions within their own stories, could be said to represent faith, hope, and charity respectively in that order in this essay I will—

It was a complicated situation. On the one hand, it's easy to say they were wrong given what was happening. The Mandalorians were raiding and pillaging all across the galaxy, and ungodly numbers of people were ending up as casualties or refugees as a result of this. The Jedi may be sworn to peace, but they are also bound by an oath to protect the innocent, especially since they have the power to do something about it. Revan and his followers had very good reasons for wanting to get involved, and their falls to the dark side could have been avoided if the Council had not alienated them (or in Meetra's case, scapegoated her).
But on the other hand, the Order as a whole cannot be faulted for not wanting to get involved. Yes, the Jedi serve the Republic, but they are not meant to be their military branch. On paper at least, this was strictly a military affair that the Republic Fleet should have had sole responsibility for prosecuting. The Mandalorians are dangerous, but not like the Sith or the Yuuzhan Vong. On the topic of the Sith, it must be remembered that KOTOR takes place only a couple decades after Tales of the Jedi. The ravages of Exar Kun's conquest were still fresh in a lot of people's minds, so it makes sense that most Jedi would not want to get pulled into another war. Furthermore, (though I hate to reference that stupid book) the Revan novel makes it clear that Emperor Vitiate was pulling some of the strings, so the Council's wariness is well-founded with the benefit of hindesight.
Overall, the situation with the Mandalorian Wars was one where there was no easy answer, and the fallout only made it more complicated. Should the Jedi have gotten involved from the start in order to neutralize the threat that the Mandalorians were posing to innocents? Maybe. But there's also no denying that the Jedi who went awol all fell to the dark side as a direct consequence of their experiences radicalizing their views and eroding their morals.
This is just me spitballing, but I believe that the context of the Mandalorian Wars was very much on the minds of the prequel-era Jedi when the Clone Wars broke out. Knowing that countless innocents could die if they dragged their heels probably was an impetus for many being willing to swallow the pill of leading the clone armies, but the knowledge that war can and had led many Jedi to a very dark place only contributed to how uneasy everyone was with this crappy situation.
I started thinking about this in the shower, and now I’m curious what the general public opinion is.

*to answer the question of "why isn't [insert Jedi] here?", it's because I don't have a micro of them yet. plus, this is mostly the masters of the Prequel era, so certain names were long gone by the time.*
