watching analysis videos about the newer 3d pokemon games (main series) and getting really depressed because like all games series nowadays it's about quantity over quality now and i know everyone is saying the same thing it's just very sad to see coming from probably my all time favorite game series

#like b/w was around the time where i started to grow out of it a little bit #not like how gens 3 and 4 had a chokehold on my life #it wasn't as memorable to me but i still really enjoyed it and i've played through it numerous times #once xy came out i only managed to play through it once or maybe twice #and even then it was kind of a slog to get through #i was super excited for oras because hoenn is my fav region but even then i played it once and never again #i didn't even make it halfway through pkmn moon i really couldn't #it's just SO handholdy and linear i felt like i was just perpetually going through the tutorial #i realized that in the older games there's SO much more to discover and explore you just have to seek it out #now it's just going from one city to the next with nothing interesting in between #i couldn't tell you a single notable thing from pokemon moon i felt like there was nothing to do #besides go to the next gym challenge or whatever they were #ANYWAY rant over basically i am disappointed in the state of the real and virtual world !

okay anon i definitely don't wanna kill your excitement but i think it's worth saying at this point we don't know what niki will want to do on the qsmp and which direction she will want to take her gameplay or story, and that includes which other streamers she'll want to interact with and/or storytell with on the server. definitely myself as someone who has liked rainduo's cc dynamic and dynamic on other servers, i don't want to pigeonhole niki into certain expectations on this server (especially around other ccs, and esp as niki has had this problem with male ccs before), as i feel like it's setting her up to fail and yourself up for disappointment

HUGE WIN !! one of the ladies at the group brought in a plastic bag full of cotton yarn and I spotted a small crochet hook in there (definitely a size I don't have yet, yay!!) and she was hoping someone would be able to take it off her hands because we don't have a thrift store anymore to give things to, and none of the other ladies were interested so I said I'd love to take it and I'd find a good use for it !!! YIPPEEEE !!
