I found the results of a Korean level test I did 2 years ago and thought it would be fun to do it again. It placed me on 4A!! (The levels are 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, 4A, 4B) Even though my understanding apparently got worse (?) :D Vocabulary is better than I thought and I’m happy about the result for grammar. I did do some active studying while staying at home during covid, but most of it is due to regularly talking to my language tandem friends :)

If you’re interested, you can take the test on www.sejeonghakdong.org, it’s 20 minutes listening and 20 minutes reading. Downside is you have to register and the format is weird, probably only works on a computer and not on a phone.

This confirms that I need to work on vocabulary. I should use song lyrics for that, because with a melody is the only way I’ll remember. And I know I need to work on spelling (it didn’t test that but when I do write I realize I have never read or written the words I have in my head and no idea how to spell them :D). So I plan to read and write more in Korean :) Grammar will have to come naturally because trying to remember the rules is annoying :D
