Is there anyone Megs misses while questing like Op misses his squad?
Megatron isn’t all that close many of his subjects save for maybe Strika, his leading Commander, and Soundwave, his Scribe.
His Regent and official Stand-In while seeking the Allspark, Starscream, was in fact very close to him, but only for a time.
Strika and Lugnut have known him for the longest and are all too familiar with comradery that comes with surviving in the gladiator pits. However, true friendships were risky as you could see those same friends thrown against you into your very next match.
When Megatron was building for his rebellion, Starscream was his right hand and direct link to accessing the inner gossip of those from high councilman, all the way to the acolytes of the Guiding Hand. Having such a high-class mech, quite literally next in line to the Winglord title, on the side of the rebellion definitely had its perks.
However, when hell broke loose and cost the Decepticons the battle for the Allspark, they were not the only ones to feel the watch of Iconian. Any and all ties found within the Decepticon rebellion were sought out, Starscream’s involvement cost the Vosnian’s their seat at the Council, conglomerating all of his people as as both members of Decepticons and Heretics.
Starscream had no hopes of getting back into good graces with the former Winglord, all but cast out with quite literally no where else to go but back with the Decepticons and this supposed “brilliant leader” he gambled the lives of his people on. Megatron and Starscream now only can only stomach to bear each other for the sorry excuses of safety and stability each can bring to the table when providing for the struggling Kingdom.
Many subjects toss around rumors as to just how Soundwave got within Megatron’s inner circle, but none question why he’s kept his place as such a high confidant. Soundwave, being responsible for all keeping logs and relaying messages through the kingdom is just about the most important mech Megatron keeps by his side through all the turmoil or rebuilding his Kingdom.
Megatron respects him a great deal for the security he’s provided, but he keeps himself at a safe distance for Soundwave’s own safety. For as many secrets as he knows, Soundwave understands, though he does wish that Megatron allowed himself the freedom of chit chat with just someone :(
I wouldn’t say Megatron misses anyone in particular while he’s out on his quest, if anything he’s grateful he left them behind know how frighteningly small the Kingdom’s numbers already are.Wharton won’t have anyone risk their lives to fix a mistake that should not have been made all those years ago. Plus, they’d absolutely rip into him for leaving on his own anyways.
okay wait I lied. Megatron really really misses his dear, darling, Nemesis :’( to be honest, no one quite knows what Nemmy is, but she’s suspected to be some variant of equinoid unicornis….if they had a razor sharp maw that could rival that of a hell hound and massed up to three tons of pure muscle.
She’s very particular about her people says Megatron, but she doesn’t bite!! lies

I really love this masterpiece that you did
It shows us how Claire's family could have been,a normal functioning family, but the harsh truth is always there honestly
(Sorry for the rant that's gonna come onto you)
Yeah, that's probably what I was going for the most. I'm going for the concept of they're trying to be better but with how everything went it's kinda.. meh.
I've had similar problems with my fam too, which is probably why I declare Claire's family in the middle of both positivity and negativity. I'm not too sure on what to call it.
I guess I wished the best would happen with Claire and her family. Even when it seems like the adults from the short film doesn't deserve the best from an outsider's perspective.
I even wish the same thing for the Puppingtons from Moral Orel in some degree. Idk, just a comforting coping concept I guess. Bluey seems to display a better positive role with a lot of stuff.
More rant undercut if you want to know more:
Between all of the negativity that was displayed in Moral Orel and Jack Stauber's Opal, Bluey is the perfect opposite of those two mostly negative family issues.
Bluey having shown issues too but solving them positively is a perfect example to not always having things negatively. The differences between the Puppingtons and the Heelers are intense.
Where how Moral Orel represents nothing much good ever happens, Bluey represents anything can end up good as long as you got the right mindset, and I know Moral Orel does the same but it mostly seems to end horribly. It depends I guess.
And I guess I was trying to have Claire's family be in-between the positive side and the negative side, it starts off negative but I like to think that eventually the adults see the errors of their ways and change for the better, a little rocky but at least they would try. Kinda like my family did.
I wanted more content of wholesome family fun for them, which is why I mostly made that animation/animatic.
They would have fun sometimes, but also bad things happen too, which is a trait I'm sort of familiar with IRL. It's kinda confusing and it may seem bad, but it happens.
Idk that's my thoughts anyways. Thank you for reading this if you did. 👍💖✨
