Another name that took me an embarrassingly long time to parse! I used to run by this house all the time and I could never see the second character as anything other than hiragana え or the go/walk radical ⻌. Which obviously it could not be! Finally I moved away, but it kept haunting me because this photo was still in my drafts.
Then, one day, out of nowhere, it hit me: it must be 元! Duh-doy. The name is 木元. Two first-year kanji. Bog-standard readings: Kimoto or Kinomoto. Anticlimactic! But also satisfying somehow.
木 is read き, こ, ボク, or モク. It means tree or wood.
元 is read もと, ゲン, or ガン. It means beginning, former time, or origin. It can also be a prefix meaning ex-/former, read もと.

Very interesting and very rare name today! 才元 is read Saimoto, and it belongs to only about 70 people in the whole country.
才 is only ever read サイ. It means genius, and it's also used as a counter for years of age, buuut that's almost exclusively among young children who have yet to learn the proper counter, 歳 (also サイ as a counter, otherwise とし (which it shares with 年, meaning year), とせ, よわい, or セイ.
元 is read もと, ゲン, or ガン. It means beginning, former time, or origin. By extension, it can also mean ex-, as in 元カレ or 元カノ, short for 元彼氏 (もとかれし) ex-boyfriend and 元彼女 (もとかのじょ) ex-girlfriend, respectively.
