A wise friend once reminded me That with all the years I've been alive Very few have been spent an adult

All the trials of adulthood we see Against hydra-headed obstacles we strive Most inabilities are not our fault

While the year of passage may vary Depending on the custom you revive The jump through age is no catapult

by the time you find out it was already too late. childe, your best friend– your lover, was already succumbed by his delusion. it wasted his energy as he looked bleak. the color in his skin was already paler than before. he’s an idiot and you were an idiot to believe his words. 

he charmed the traveler for a reason. he managed to steal your heart for a reason. the day he has fallen in the abyss, he hasn’t been the same. but you tried to love him the same. but every day, you’re slowly losing your faith in him. now your lover is in your arms, begging you to stay and saying that he will change. 

but he never will. 

he caressed your face, hoping you would falter, melt and give in. but you never did, 

“i hope you’re fucking happy, ajax.” 

the use of his birth name with your negative tone hurts more than being strained by his delusion. you saw him wince while you applied pressure to what hurts. “i love you, i do. but i can’t stay when you’re using your delusion.”

he knows what you would say next and he was too afraid to accept it. “i think it would be best for us to–” 

“don’t say it, name. please.”
