Works in Progress, DC x Reader - Update 7.25.22

These are not in the order that they will be posted in, they are just written in.

Honestly, "Artist's Muse" is the most likely to be uploaded next, then "Little Menace" and lastly "Summer Storms." Assuming I do not start anymore but do not hold your breath. Summaries and information listed below.

Summer Storms - Kon Kent [Superboy]

Summary: Kon sees someone under a shop awning – while a storm rages around them. Thinking they may need to get to their destination dry, he offers his jacket to help them. Too bad the storm has other plans.

Note: I am mostly stuck on this one for two reasons - my major motivation for writing it is when there is a literal summer storm going on outside, and then second, I have never written for Kon before. So I am trying to rewrite this in a way that seems better suited for his personality.

Little Menace - Jaime Reyes/Khaji Da [Blue Beetle III]

Summary: Blue Beetle has been handling you as a villain for ages. But what happens after he showed up expecting a fight, only to find you bloody on the ground. Against Jaime’s better judgment, Khaji Da suggested dragging you back to their apartment and getting you cleaned up – after all, they need to find out what happened. Which leads to their current predicament of getting you into the bath without them leaving you unsupervised. 

Note: Based on the prompt by @gingerly-writing, prompt #3109: “You know,” the supervillain rasped as they eased their battered body into the bath, “when you finally got me naked, I was imagining a much sexier situation.”

Also, this one is likely to have more innuendos from reader. It is also a villain!reader. I am trying to keep in GN right now, as the same for most of my works. I know what I want to write, it is a matter of where to start more like it. And doing it justice, I absolutely loved Blue Beetle growing up, and still do. I want to do him justice.

Artist's Muse - Bart Allen [Impulse]

Summary: Reader is drawing outside, minding their own business at first. But inspiration is not coming so easily today – until someone catches your eye. Though he is sitting a few feet away from you, he appears to be relaxed as he lays back relaxed, talking with his friends every so often. Struck by the desire to draw, you find the sketch on the page looking more and more like him, too engrossed in the art to realize that you have been caught.

Note: Have I seen this prompt done about a hundred times over with all kinds of characters across all kinds of fandom? Yep, and now you’re getting my spin on it!  I also started this right before making this post so do not be caught off guard if this is the next one uploaded.
