So I have a lot of thoughts on the 6x02 promo and I wanted to get all my speculations out of my system before tomorrow. 👀

In the promo we can decipher 2 victims, the older man and the kid.

From what I could gather Hen will be working on the kid, I'm assuming with Chimney, because we can see and match the older man's shirt color to the one Buck is doing compressions on.

This took me back to Buck Actually (2x08) when he tried to save Thomas but couldn't, back then Bobby and Eddie were with him, I'm guessing Eddie will be with him here now and maybe Captain Hen will be the one to stop the compressions, maybe Eddie himself.

But here we see Buck's hands with the gloves and a black gloved hand checking for pulse. This is imo Eddie. If only because both Hen and Chimney being paramedics and will probably be wearing blue gloves too.

And as the promo shows, Buck loses a victim, we can see it on his face and it's indicated by Hen's talk with him later.

I believe that Eddie’s crossing, is either because they lose the kid, or more likely in response to Buck’s own grief over the older man. (I'm working on a post talking about Eddie and the crossing, because it showed on different occasions, I'm intrigued.)

I wonder if Hen's talk comes before Chimney's abduction or after. If before then, while appreciated it will not have the desired impact. Because we see this,

And Buck is standing right there and it sounds like he's going to be hit by the car, and yet we get this still, where I wonder if someone stopped the car, if it swerved around him? Or are the police cars so close that we see the blue reflected on Buck’s face right as he braces for impact.

I will say this though, if Eddie witnesses all of this, he will be pissed, and he has learned to express his emotions better, I do hope we're in for another heart wrenching/tender buddie moment 🥺❤️🙏

Buck, Actually is SUCH a good episode. It has it all! Buck in peril? Check. Madney karaoke? Check. Walk and talk scenes with Buck and Bobby? Check. Calls that are engaging but low stakes to the overall plot? Check. BATHENA DANCING? Be still my heart! And the soundtrack for that episode was FIRE!
