Happy 27 years of YGO! and Me! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ 🍰🎉

Boy do I! Here’s a random assortment of the first faithshipping headcanons that come to mind:

Yusei is Aki’s first (and for a long time, only) sparring partner of a sort. During the period after she first controls her powers in the duel where her dad was present but before she’s fully gotten the hang of them, Yusei frequently volunteers to duel her for practice and eventually becomes the only one she dares to ask for it outright. She never manages to find the right words to thank him, but he can tell by the way she begins to feel more and more at ease with duelling, even starting to have genuine fun with it, like she used to as a child, that it means the world to her.

Speaking of duelling. Yusei loves to watch Aki duel. He also likes duelling her himself because she’s tough and provides good practice, but mostly, especially once she’s gotten the hang of her powers, he just loves watching her have fun with it. Watching her kick ass and enjoy herself while doing it is an endless source of joy for him.

I imagine that given each their history, both Aki and Yusei find out that they’re a little more touch-starved than they expected when they get together. (What with Yusei growing up in a harsh environment where trying to stay on top of one another’s needs for physical affection wasn’t exactly first priority, and Aki being avoided by and actively avoiding people herself for many years.) Thus, they find out pretty quickly that they love giving and receiving physical affection. And not even big things; anything from sitting while leaning against one another, to brushing hands, brushing a strand of hair behind someone’s ear here and there, holding hands, everything. (And the obvious stuff like hugs and kisses, too, yes.)

That said, I don’t see them being big on PDA. They’ll subtly hold hands under the table in public, maybe snatch a kiss when no one’s looking, but they don’t like to make a show out of themselves.

They switch back and forth on who’s the little spoon. Aki likes being held, generally, but the way Yusei melts into her arms when she holds him is nothing short of bliss to her. Also, Yusei’s clingy in his sleep. He always likes holding onto her somehow. Thankfully, Aki adores it.

Bonus to the above (with a smidgen of angst): On bad nights when Yusei either keeps waking up because of nightmares or has trouble falling asleep in the first place, Aki’s arms are the only place where he feels comfortable and safe enough to get at least a few hours of rest.

They both aren’t the greatest cooks (Aki mostly due to lack of practice since she didn’t cook herself at Arcadia and Yusei mostly due to Satellite, where there was both a lack of tools and of diverse ingredients to experiment with), but together, they make a solid team in the kitchen. They move around one another easily and can serve up a nice meal if they combine their expertise.

Aki isn’t actually terrible at physics. Really, she could figure out most of her homework entirely by herself. It would take her longer, yes, but she’d manage. But Yusei is a good teacher because he’s extremely patient and can explain things in ways that make a lot more sense to her than whatever scientist-speak her professor uses. Plus, if working on her homework together gets them to sit close enough together for their legs to brush, then that’s just a plus, really.

Yusei despises clothes shopping, which Aki picks up on quickly after he moves to the city. The big stores overwhelm him (Satellite had a lot less to choose from), he’s bad at judging at a glance which clothes will fit well and which won’t, brand clothing prices frustrate him, and the older he gets, the more likely he is to get recognised at stores, too, which he also doesn’t like. (Though he politely endures most people’s attention, unless they’re dicks. And for children, he’ll try to smile every time, even if it’s Tuesday evening, raining cats and dogs, he hasn’t eaten since breakfast, and is also in a hurry to get somewhere.) Aki eventually makes clothes shopping bearable for him, though—she figures out which price category he’s comfortable with, which materials he prefers, which cuts he likes, and she’s quick to usher him into a changing room with a modest assortment of shirts and jeans when it looks like someone is about to come over and bother him, too. He never really starts liking it, per se, but after a certain point, he never goes clothes shopping without Aki again.

Despite being an early riser, Yusei often doesn’t leave the bed until Aki wakes up (unless he urgently needs to get up to do work or some such). He likes holding her and listening to her soft breathing way too much. Sometimes, he’ll even try to fall asleep again, which he never did unless he was sick before her.

Yusei’s primary love language are absolutely acts of service. He’ll make sure they have Aki’s favourite tea at home before she comes over, he’ll offer to duel her for practice for the WRGP, he’ll track down the battery model for her phone and change the battery if she mentions that it’s beginning to drain quicker than she’s comfortable with.

Meanwhile, Aki’s primary love language is touch, mostly because she’s been so starved for physical affection herself for years. She likes the way Yusei will lean into her touch every time, how he’ll remark on how soft her hands are—it’s healing for her, in a way, too, because for so long, she saw herself as someone covered in thorns, unapproachable because she hurt everyone who came too close, and unable to give warmth because of it. But Yusei seeks her embrace like it’s the only place in the world worth being in, and it soothes her soul because she can finally give warmth, she can finally be a comfort, a safe place, rather than a danger to someone.

Yusei loves the smell of Aki’s shampoo and shower gel and will happily let her wash him with it every time they shower or bathe together. He doesn’t mind that it’s flowery and doesn’t smell “masculine”, it reminds him of his favourite person in the world.

Aki memorises Yusei’s scars over the years and will sometimes carefully caress or kiss them. Yusei doesn’t know what to do with it at first because he doesn’t exactly see these reminders of bad experiences as worthy of being caressed, but eventually, it makes him go terribly, terribly soft every time she does it because it reminds him that she loves every part of him, that she even finds him handsome, scars and all. It’s affirming in a way he can’t quite articulate.

quick story sorry for the errors.

"Jack you should confess to her...I've finally come to terms with knowing you don't love me. I was being delusional the entire time." Mina said to Jack with tears threatening to spill. She knew that you were always on his mind. A month after she worked for him. She noticed he always made sure he had what looked like a special card in his jacket. She thought it was a special duel card that was very special to him until he had left his coat on the couch. When she lifted the coat the photo of you slipped out. She picked it up and so many questions went through her mind.

Who's she?

Is that one of his childhood friends no one knows of?

Should I research her?

Could that be his sister? (no different colored hair.)

Maybe she lives here in Domino city?

His girlfriend? definitely not otherwise he would've asked Goodwin for the approval to bring you to Domino City secretly.

"Don't touch my things! I don't want to have to tell you again." Jack scolded her. He was very angry. "Yes sir...Is she family?" Mina asked hoping you were. He looked out the window, towards where Domino City is located. " No she's not family," he replied. That made her upset yet motivated to keep her game on.

"I am. It's about time. I can't lose her to anyone else. She's mine and always will be." he replied grabbing his helmet, and leaving his penthouse. He drove to your house and on the way he stopped to pick up your favorite food with a nice scarf. He parked and knocked on your door. Shuffling was heard. The door opened revealing no other than Yusei. The last person he wants to see at your house before confessing to you. "Is y/n here? I need to see her." you popped up out of nowhere. "Hey, I'm right here. What's up?" you said. Your eyes were sparkling and your cheeks were rosy as always. Jack gave Yusei a look that said leave us alone. He did. "I've been wanting to talk to you about something very important and I can't wait," he said. You walked into the kitchen with him. "Talk to me." you were nervous. Praying that it's nothing horrible. You grabbed your stool to get on the counter and sit down. "I..well...We grew up together and we've many special memories. Even after we separated there wasn't a day I didn't think of you. You are my past my present and hopefully my future. I'm blessed to know such a kind and beautiful human being. I love you y/n. I'm so in love with you." he confessed holding your hands with a grip. You felt your tears slip. Crying. This is all you've ever wanted, for Jack to love you. He held you as you jumped into his arms off the counter. You were trembling softly as you wrapped your legs around his waist .Overwhelmed with love and all the memories you've made coming back to you. "I'm in love with you too Jack." He smiled finally being able to say that he was yours. " Mine. All mine. My Jack Atlas." you commented playing with his hair as you stared into each other's eyes. "Yes, y/n. I'm all yours. Forever and Always." he said. Tears slipped as you made out passionately. Yusei caught a glimpse and decided it was best for him to leave. He knew you needed privacy. He was happy his Best friend finally found happiness.

'I'm so lucky to have you y/n." Jack said. You giggled and said, "I'm lucky to have you as well Jack. Who knows maybe I'll get even more luck one day to be called Mrs. Atlas." you replied. He blushed. HE BLUSHED. JACK ATLAS BLUSHED. "Yeah. I plan on giving you my last name. y/n Atlas. Its perfect." he replied.

God I love Solomon Muto so freaking much man, the ideas this event is giving me in Duel Links, of just, him going through gate to gate wanting to see all these Wonderful and unique cards and how he’s interacting with the DM gang treating them ALL as if they were his grandkids not just Yugi. They even call him grandpa which is something I just love about it in the show, because he’s not just yugis grandpa he’s a grandpa to ALL DUELISTS, Haha!

Makes me wonder over him interacting with other characters from other series because he’s just in AWE over all these cards and new summoning method, and being SUCH a grandpa for some of these kids.

Especially my fav little fucked up ones!!

He goes to learn Synchro summoning and meets Yusei and team 5ds, and them just going “Whoa! 😯 It’s the King of games Grandfather!!” , I wanna see him be all sweet with akiza, my girl needs it, and with how kind and wise he is? Girl probably gonna hold back a few tears Haha!! How he encouraged Tea/Anzu and Jou to follow their dreams in the event, is encouraging her to follow hers as well with that warm grandfather charm and support!!

Akiza: 🥹🥹🥹

Would absolutely ADORE Leo and Luna, Leo wants to show off SO badly and wants to be the one to teach him synchro summoning and Solomon is just giggling and smiling warmly at the boys antics!

Oh yeah he’s telling them embarrassing stories about Yugi, maybe pull up baby pictures, he seems like he would—

He meets Yuma and astral and Astral just adores card game grandpa, I’m just imagining him huddled up close to Solomon as he talks about old duel monster strats and old stories of his younger days and Yuma just wants to get outta there but he can’t cause Astral for some reason is so invested!!

Yuma shows off his Xyz summoning and is happily jumping all over the places by all of Solomon’s “Oohs” and “Ahhs” and his compliments to Yuma and his Dueling skills, oh wait nope, here comes bronk here to tease Yuma to Duel Grandpa about the 50 times Yuma lost to him.

But duel grandpa just gives his little hearty chuckle and gives his grandpa wisdom about how Yuma not staying down after every loss after loss just proves how strong of duelist he is or smth.

Yuma: 🥹🥹🥹

Haha! Or just him meeting shark, with him getting all grouchy and being, well, shark, tries to shoo Solomon away but he tries to get him to duel him after he learns how to Xyz summon, grandpa— as old and frail as he’s played off to be—is challenging shark, heck maybe even teasingly calling him chicken (or guppy, HA!!’) and sharks not having it, what? Kite got to throw hands with middle schoolers! So he’s allowed to throw hands with the elderly!

Whether he wins or loses Shark eventually comes to respect the old man! (Also Rio WILL be gossiping with Solomon and she WILL talk shit about shark to the Dueling grandpa)

I feel like if he met Cathy he’d be confused but supportive, “Well whatever makes you happy! Hoho! Children should be able to have fun in their own way!” Or smth like that. It needs to be said he is giving ALL of Yuma and friends old games he’d sell in his shop and shows them all how to play it ASTRAL INCLUDED ☝️ and it’s a fun little bonding time for the kiddos! They taught him Xyz Summoning he teaches them the joy of classic games!

He learns about pendulum summoning and action duels and wants to jump in on an action duel immediately!! But unfortunately Dueling grandpa isn’t a PARKOUR dueling grandpa 😔 He got them old bone hips…

But he still wishes to watch them!! Absolutely adores them!!

He meets Yuya and is just in AWE over the fact he invented pendulum summoning and just adores how upbeat and sweet the kid is!

Sylvio is just absorbing every compliments and praise from him! He wants him to watch every action duel, turbo duel, tag duel, or WHATEVER duel he performs, he wants all of his compliments and praise!!!(Listen man, old people have got to be putting SOMETHING in their compliments!! I get all giddy when someone’s grandparent compliments me bro, best feeling ever, I held the door open for this lovely grandmother this one time and she goes “Oh thank you sweetie such a lovely and kind girl you are!” I F*CKING ASCENDED MAN 😭)

Sora is indifferent to Solomon, unless he’s got that good old people candy, or just has any kind of candy in his game shop gives him +100 of his respect, especially if Solomon gives it to him for free ✊ free candy is ALWAYS sweeter.

The Vrains casts, OOOOH, my fav little fucked up bbys oh how I adore thee (and thine angsts)

Someone save the grandpa the modern meta and link summoning are gonna give him a heart attack bigger then the one Seto gave him oh god!!—

Watches one of blue angels shows and is buying merchandise and just gushing over her dueling skills and her monsters, would probably show Tea/Anzu too he definitely wants to ask Blue Angel if she’d want to sponsor his game shop XDD

He finds out about the Avatar function and IMMEDIATELY makes an Avatar of his younger days, buuuut it takes him a few hours (and yugis help) to figure out how HAHA!!

If he encounters playmaker he is so CONFUSED over Ai at first, but instantly adores him and joins him on his jokes and gags, treats Ai respectfully and as a person too.

Ai would call him Grandpap’s or some funny lil nickname for Mr. Muto, Adores how Solomon will take his side! And he’ll just go “Yeah you heard him! Respect your elders!” HAHA, he’s just behind Solomon’s shoulder with the SMUGEST face his little creature face can pull.

I’m imagining if He witnesses one of Playmaker and Ais classic banters I could see him going “Now, Now son, that’s no way to talk to your partner!”

“Huh?- i- uh-“

“YEAH PLAYMAKER, That’s no way to talk to your partner >:3” <- I can HEAR the smug tone in this LMAO

Soulburner is very respectful to Solomon, and Solomon will talk about his grandson and his friends to him telling him how he reminds him of some of yugis friends. I could definitely see Soulburner respectfully try to help him learn how to ride a duel board, Sol tech has got to have made easy beginner areas for speed dueling. right?

Tell him about the lost incident and he is going on an adoption speedrun 💕

No joke, I want to witness Solomon Muto VERBALLY BERATE Dr. Kogami’s bitch ass 💕💗😘 He is kicking his ass in the after life (JUMP HIS ASS GRANDPA GET HIS SHOES ☝️🗣️🗣️🗣️)

Speaking of which, I want him to give Ryoken a FULL ASS GRANDPARENT LECTURE. Ryoken is reluctantly forced to be lectured and have this impromptu therapy session with someone’s grandparent and it’s working, because it’s Solomon Muto people where did you think Yugi got his kindness and wisdom from? He finna shape this boy with kindness the same way Yugi shaped Yami/Atem with kindness! 😤

And once again he still wants to learn about all these new cards and what not and im just adoring the fact that if he ever were to meet spectre and learn about his Sunavalons and if spectre were to bring up his mother tree and his attachment to his Cards/Momster (hehe get it-)

Solomon would not judge, he’d completely understand, he would talk to spectre about his Blue eyes card how much it meant to him, (and of course about the heart of the cards! )He knows his connection and attachment to his beloved blue eyes card isn’t the same as his attachment to his sunavalon tree’s but he understands where spectre is coming from and how he feels and he also shares that same feeling he’d felt when his sunavalon tree would be destroyed just like how when Seto ripped up his bwd.

👀 would you care to talk about the symbolism of the other yugioh rivals

SMILES. i would love to. i cant speak for revolver or the bridge rivals yet and i havent seen enough arc-v to have a solid grasp on declan's symbolism yet but i will talk a little about the spinoff rivals i do know pretty well

as a sidenote, like. ok so Kaiba's main motifs and 'symbolism' is...well. centered around Blue-Eyes and dragons in general mostly, of course. And he kind of has those weird disease/virus and mild clown motifs that show up a little in his cards, and those are all plenty cool and they work for what seto kaiba needs to be! but imo that doesn't really get nearly as expanded upon either in the show itself or otherwise in official yugioh What Have You, compared to the guys who came later. i didnt have a good spot to say this otherwise so it's going here lol of course thats just my opinion on the matter

Chazz: anyway, so something I notice is explored a bit more with the spinoff rivals is that they'll have these motifs that actually get extended into their archetypes in the actual tcg, and it's so SO cool to see. Chazz/Manjoume has his whole iconic thunder motif of course, and he also gets that little s2 stint with the Society of Light giving him a brief Bright Distressing White motif and BOTH OF THOSE. HAVE BEEN INVOKED WITH ARMED DRAGON LV 10 CARDS

i really especially love Armed Dragon Thunder Lv. 10-- its whole effect is the Manjoume Thunder chant!!! IT'S DOING THE POSE. IT'S SO FUN.

and of course also Chazz is a character very tied to the symbolism of "weak" duel monsters, of "weak" decks, one-star monsters and the Ojamas especially, and that in general is such a fun spin on a yugioh rival. we do a complete 180 from Guy Tied Almost Exclusively to Very Powerful Dragon to Guy So Symbolically Correlated With Weak Monsters He Dresses Up as One in His Last (and one of his best) Duels. peace and love on planet finding strength in the unremarkable

Jack: ok so Jack is an interesting one. He's very symbolically tied to being the 'King' and to underworldly draconic hellfire imagery [which in of itself is really cool, and I think there's some very interesting dichotomy in there with how Jack's tied with a fiery hellish dragon motif but Yusei's tied to a cosmic heavenly dragon motif...i really love Jack and Yusei as narrative counterparts.] But the thing is, in the same vein Jack's tied deeply to Burning Soul-- the issue is 5D's also very clearly puts forward that the Burning Soul iconography is also tied (and in large part originated) with the Legendary Signer...who is. an indigenous brown South American guy.

And they. gave it to one of the arguably whitest Yugioh characters. Erm. 🥴 classic yugioh racially questionable moments !This is what I mean when I say the spinoff rivals have far more interesting symbolism to me--sometimes the interest is out of uhhhh not great narrative handling!! Gives even more to chew on.

Shark: yeah Shark is the one that makes me insane. There's no way to talk about him and his symbolism without getting into deep Zexal Spoilers, so. Be mindful of that. I'm gonna talk about him and Kite under the cut

ok so Shark is like the goddamn yugioh rival symbolism rivalry gold rush. You trip into the Reginald Ryoga "Shark" Kamishiro Kastle motifs and symbolism well and youre falling for ten thousand years. You cant talk about him without having to get into him also being Nasch, and then you have to talk about the Barian Emperors, and that second you get into that is the second you get sandblasted with some of the most insane symbolism yugioh writers have every cooked up.

There is so much goddamn demonology imagery and motif and symbolism jammed into the Barians I will be here all day getting into it. NOT EVEN GETTING INTO THE BUDDHISM INFLUENCE TOO. You cannot convince me that the Barian Emperors aren't supposed to correlate with the Seven Princes of Hell, alongside their deeply implied Seven Deadly Sin symbolism (and the Ursa Major symbolism too of course--it's what they get their names from!) To me I think Nasch is supposed to be tied to Leviathan especially, being an aquatic-based monster, but he could also correlate to Lucifer, playing on the pop cultural idea of Lucifer being the leader of Hell (and in demonology, typically associated with pride...pretty big trait of Shark's!)

That's just me barely scratching the surface with him. He's got the demonology symbolism, and Ursa Major motif, and seven deadly sins symbolism, and the sea predator symbolism and motif, and the royalty symbolism (good god his DUB SURNAME IS FUCKING KASTLE. THE PALER PART OF HIS HAIR LOOKS LIKE A CROWN.) And also all the insane numerology symbolism Zexal is leaking out the ears with. he's the fucking best. Why did they make this 14 year old so jampacked with this shit. it RULES.

Kite: it's so neat that Zexal has two rivals effectively. ANYWAY. Kite doesn't have as much 'oh my god it keeps going. it keeps going. oh holy shit' tier symbolism as whatever going on with Shark but he's got some stuff going on; I think it's especially cool that he and Mizar/Mizael have this "light vs. time" motif going on with their dragons, a Galaxy-Eyes arms race based on the speed of light. In general Kite's really associated with light, in the the very scientific sense, be it the way his jacket turns white when he duels, his Photon-filled deck, HELL even literally the way his eyes get damaged and his vision suffers is arguably tied to it, and it rocks. I feel like Kite is (esp since Zexal is supposed to parallel DM in a lot of ways) really the rival meant to parallel Kaiba the most, even down to having a dragon ace monster based around something bright (white dragon, photon dragon,) but I think they really took the time to expand on that inherent symbolism and show it off in even more ways narratively than we see with Kaiba. it's just cool the more i think about it the more i really like what they did with kite.

I just saw some spoilers about the MBM Eternal movie. Didn’t expect to literally hear Kiyoi moaning while being fucked by Hira in a tub. They went wild for this movie. Lmao

Utsukushii Kare Season 2 set up all it needed to show me how into their sex life Kiyoi is. From the first episode alone we get these gems:

"oh you wanted to be alone with me"

with that smile and that bright expectant face! come onnnnnnnnn

Hira: *tells Kiyoi how into him he is in his own Hira way* Kiyoi: "fuck me please"

so yes when I watched that bathtub scene, I was more surprised by Hira taking control and telling Kiyoi what to do while Kiyoi blushed and tried to demure away but Hira was like nahhhhhh he picked up from his s2e4 self and didn't hold back at all

Hira is a Kiyoi-fucking tornado and Kiyoi loves it and wants it and needs it.

Satellite Boys Headcannons

Yusei is a he/they bi, Crow is a transmasc gay/asexual, and Jack is a very loud straight ally.

Aki and Carly and super into horror movies, which really sucks for Jack and Yusei who are really not into horror movies. Yusei can handle most gore, but psychological horrors really mess with him. Jack can't handle gore beyond a stab wound, but he doesn't really mind psychological horrors because he's just like 'nah im just built different (dumber)'

Crow is very superstitious, much like Martha. Knocking on wood, being wary of the number 13, throwing salt over your shoulder (though that one is kinda justified considering spirits are like a real thing in ygo) are all stuff he does on the regular

Crow is the only person in the house who can cook. Yusei has never touched an oven in his life because he's spent half of it forgetting to eat, and Jack is... Jack.

In between the three of them, Jack has caused the most property damage. This is very impressive considering Yusei likes to kick down every door he can't open, regardless of the situation. He can lock pick, he just decides not to most of the time. Crow is usually more sneaky when trying to get into places he's not supposed/allowed to, though he's not above shattering a few windows for fun. Jack just likes blowing stuff up.

Neither Jack or Yusei have gotten their ears pierced (Jack wears clip-ons), because Crow has told them horror stories of what happened when he got his ears pierced in prison and how horribly infected they got (he told them this with a bright smile because he thought itd impress them and has yet to realize the mental ramifications it has had on his family)

Hogan is Martha's last name.

Jack has the most refined fighting style, mainly sticking to hard-hitting punches that can knock you out in one blow. Yusei's is more of a freestyle, mixing both fast punches and kicks to knock someone down as quickly as possible. Crow fights like a kindergartner, with biting, hair-pulling, spitting in your eye being some of his go-to tactics. Crow has nearly bitten off someone's finger before, and is not afraid to do it again.

Crow has only ever served his full jail sentence once. Every other time he's broken out.

All three of them participate in the twin's school activities in some way. Crow and Yusei usually go to the PTA meetings, and Jack usually goes to things like sporting events because he is too competitive for his own good and nobody can stop him.

there is just so much symbolism in the 4-5 seconds this lasts.. Yusei taking her hand in his. Did he need to do that? No, but why not? They both covering each other's hand with their own.. letting go ever so slowly as to cherish that last contact.. maybe an unwillingness to part (which Yusei does admit, in the coming scene).. and off she goes!

I really love this scene because we get to see Yusei's feelings.. he doesn't want to forget about them, and he doesn't want them to really leave but he understand their bond is unbreakable despite the distance and that the future each of them hold will go a different way. I also like how conflicting it is for him to basically say they shouldn't rely on the bond (to grow, etc), all while deciding to stay in the city as a way to keep their bond alive.. which makes complete sense when he says this:

Yusei have likely achieved everything he wanted, and the path for him to walk was similar to his father's, meaning he would remain in the city. I was worried about this being something imposed on him but, even if that's the case, he still is mature and wise enough to make his own decisions, this is one of them. Yusei will stay being the foundation of their bond, existing as a person, and also as a place, as home they can go back to

Yusei smiles with his eyes more than his mouth, so he eventually has those eye smile line wrinkles, which become a really good tell for whether he's actually smiling because they crinkle up even more and make it more clear.

Jack on the other hand gets them near his mouth and the only times he hates them is when they betray him because they seem to "smile" even when he's trying not to. A lot. He doesn't know how to stop it! However aside from that he likes how they make him look.

The day started normally enough.

A few months after the battle against Paradox that had him thinking he'd never see his new friends ever again, Judai was pleasantly surprised to find the Stardust Dragon user at the doorstep of the hotel he was staying at.

Greetings and hugs were exchanged, with the brunet trying to wrap his head around how Yusei was even here. After a brief and summarized explanation, he made it clear he'd found a way to travel between their timelines without any repercussions, so long as they stayed out of trouble and didn't disturb important sequences of events.

“I really wanted to see you again… And Yugi-san, too! Of course!” The raven had said with that awkward handsome smile that had Judai's heart doing backflips.

After chatting and catching up on each other's lives, it was clear there was some underlying… tension between them. Certain looks and lingering touches that had both young men blushing like high school teenage girls. And even though Judai had been aware of his feelings for Yusei for a while now, he didn't know if the other felt the same.

At least not until today.

“Judai-san… I really like you. As in… more than a friend.” The riding duelist confessed to him as they were having dinner. Well, more like take out fried shrimp from Judai's favorite restaurant which got delivered to the hotel, but what does it matter? “O-Of course I completely understand if you don't see me the same way and wish for us to stay friends. Or… if you're not comfortable with that anymore…”

Not even allowing him to finish that sentence, Judai immediately leaned across the futon and pulled the man against him, crashing their lips into a fiery kiss. The brunet wasn't usually this bold— he blamed Yubel for that one, certainly.

And so, a few kisses and hot touches later, that's how they found themselves in their current position.

“I just don't want to make you uncomfortable.” Yusei steered the conversation back to their dilemma, as dripping wet lips greeted him once he pulled off Judai's underwear. “I don't want us to rush this and you end up regretting it later…”

If he was being completely honest, the brunet had lost himself in the moment that he didn't even remember he hadn't told Yusei that he was trans. But he could honestly care less.

Sure, he'd sometimes feel a bit self-conscious when looking into a mirror, but the way Yusei was holding him in such a gentle embrace, he knew the other man would still respect his wishes if something made him feel icky.

At that, Judai could see Yusei's blue gaze sharpen in a, dare he say, possessive manner? The raven spread his legs further apart, chin resting just above his pelvis as he almost purred in response. “Nothing could ever make me find you unattractive, Judai-san. If anything, this only makes you a sexier man in my book.”

“Like I said,” Yusei tentatively shimmied closer, holding his hand and placing a soft kiss against it, “there's no need for you to apologize for something like that.”

Judai smiled in return. He'd definitely made the right call in trusting Yusei with this.

The raven head then raised his eyebrows slightly, turning to look at him from in between his fingers since he was still holding his hand. Another purr left his lips which had Judai's body shaking in what could only be described as pure desire. “I should probably ask— how do you feel about marks?”

Another shiver and a gulp.

He could hear Yubel's teasing on the inside of his skull, but at this point he'd grown used to it.
