Bruno Bucciaratti is a man. Though he may give the illusion of a gentleman; he is truly an animalistic cave man on the inside. So when he felt the need to first start stalking Reader he did so with ease. Giving himself the illusion that this would be the limit of his feelings.

What a fool he was to think his love for Reader was only to that limit.

Once he started following Reader to their home, he quickly took note of the address and later plotted out any possible routes one would use to get to their home.

Once his obsession started he couldn't stop. He couldn't stop thinking about how he would make Reader to be just as 'affectionate' as he is. So he devised a plan to imprint himself on their everyday life.

Which he proudly did without the knowledge of his comrades. He would gladly tell them that he was finishing errands every so often as to not seem suspicious. Of course none of them saw it as a problem as the man himself was a sweet, caring and safe person.

Once the initial meet between the man and the prey person, Bucciaratti immediately started to fantasize on where the wedding would be, what their children's names will be, what position he would do the most.He would automatically agree that it would be a small wedding with only the Priest, Himself, and Reader.

Once he decides that just watching Reader out their window isn't enough to satisfy his thirst for them, he will use Sticky Fingers to let himself in through the wall. Once he is in he will flop down on their bed and try to find any fallen hairs that may help him with his collection of things he wants to have from them. He will take his leave once he grabs a few (a lot) more hairs and takes a good whiff of the scent scattered all around the area.

He is dying for the moment he can naturally meet them. Awaiting the moment for something bad to happen so he can rush in and save them. Like a Hero that he is.

I feel like. Book 6 should have been Book 3 actually. Book 2 could stay the same (well. Preferably without the racism LMFAO), it's largely to further establish our cast of characters and get us attached. Plus killing Bruno in Book 2 would pack less of a punch -- ideally actually if he gets to play a role in the background that would do the same thing, establishing him more and getting the audience invested.

Reason I think it should have been Book 3 is we get the much needed world building of Askr and Embla WAY sooner, Bruno isn't left high and dry for like. Real life years. And like. If he HAS to die, maybe that could be an interesting lead into Actual Book 3. Bring him back!!!!!!! I honestly don't know why it seems like they just. Never revisited the idea of people coming back from the dead, either as Hel's/Ganglöt's minions OR they have unfinished business (but are still ultimately under Hel's/Ganglöt's thumb).

I guess the complications with this though is I do think we have to build up to Alfonse's "I'm gonna kill you too" moment with Letizia. Like. I feel like that scene ONLY hits the way that it does when you have the context of Líf, and how Alfonse acted in Book 5 with Reginn and her brothers actually (offering a peaceful solution at first -- but once Fáfnir in particular makes it clear he has no intention of backing down, Alfonse becomes stern with Reginn. Trying to get her to see what must be done. WHICH... AUGH..... does absolutely carry A Lot of weight after Alfonse had to kill Gustav.) AND. ALSO. THE MOMENT RIGHT AFTER Letizia (where Sharena is scared and hurt by how Alfonse acted) wouldn't carry the same weight without the context of Book 5.

IDK. MAYBE. Things did have to go in the order they're in, for everything to hold its weight and pack the right level of punch. I'm just HUGELY bummed that like. They set up Bruno to be a main character. An antagonist, yes, but a main character. And then they did nothing with him. Until several real life years later they bring him back JUST to finally kill him off. Like. YEAH he was surrounded by death flags since day one. But like. Did they Have to do him so dirty. AND ALSO. LITERALLY. CANONICALLY . IT'S BEEN SHOWN THAT DEATH ISN'T EVEN ALWAYS THE END‼️‼️‼️

And he. Doesn't even have a base form.

AU Ramble Time

Plot: The year is 1820 and most of the world has been explored by the brave souls who dared to take the journey to new lands. A team of young sailors band together under their ship, Golden Experience, to travel to the only land untouched by man; Antartica.

The journey brings hardships and choices have to be made that may alter the course of the young travelers forever.

Setting: The 1820’s. Primarily on a fine vessel of the latest technology the world has to offer, the Golden Experience.

Characters:

Bruno Bucciarati- An experienced captain with years of open sea travels under his belt. This journey is to be his last before he retires from the harsh seas and settles down.

Pannacotta Fugo- Second in command and the navigator of the ship. He has worked close with Bruno for the past three years and hopes this journey will mark him down in the history books for all to learn about.

Leone Abbacchio- Previously, Leone worked in the field of bounty hunting. After a close call, he met Bruno at a tavern and the two formed an unbreakable bond. He now works on the ship as the quartermaster. If you need something, you come to Leone for it.

Narancia Ghirga- First Mate of the ship and the main lookout. He’s always up in the crows nest if he can be and is familiar with the sails and ropes. He grew up in the slums and was taken in by Bruno at a young age. Most of his time has been sailing and he plans to continue this life, thanks to the inspirational Bruno Bucciarati.

Guido Mista- Having joined on Bruno’s last expedition, Mista came back for this exciting journey. He’s usually running around with Narancia on the ship as a mate but he also checks on the weapons and makes sure they’re functioning. They all hope they never have to use the weapons stored but the sea is a cruel place.

Giorno Giovanna- A new member of the crew but not new to the world of sailing. He hopes to become an experienced captain like Bruno, one day, and continue exploring the world for all it has to offer. Golden Experience is actually his ship, to which he is letting Bruno captain on their journey. He works primarily as the carpenters and surgeon of the ship.

Trish Una- A woman found stranded on sea. The crew pick her up and intend on bringing her home after their journey.
