1992-Diana & Charles were headed towards separation. Lady Colin Campbell & Andrew Morton discuss their new books on America's Sally Show. Interesting to see Morton tell lies that could only have been fed to him by Diana.

Lady C was outnumbered on this show but over time, she was proven correct.

I wish Diana had made better decisions but she obviously did the best she knew how to do.

Also, take note of the NOprah Show COMMERCIALS sprinkled between takes. Definitely an interview to "bookmark."

First book of the year, done! I know some people might write her off but let me tell you, I sincerely felt so connected to this woman while reading up on her. The insecurities, desires to feel heard and existing in a world that constantly wanted to contain her worth to just a kind and beautiful woman in fancy clothes. She wanted so much more and yearned for so much more. Complex, indeed. I definitely cried.

The Queen by Andrew Morton

I feel so honored to have been able to review this book so soon after the Queen's passing. Whereas yes, colonialism is bad, and propping up the monarchy is inherently not good for any country, this was a woman who broke through many different glass ceilings through her life and as a woman, deserves to have her praises sung where they are deserved. This wonderful biography paints the queen in a different life I had seen in so many previous documentaries, articles, books, and movies. Andrew Morton, through his intense research and knowledge of so many people close to the royal family has created an Elizabeth that is much more relatable and able to be understood. This is a woman who loved her children, and hated confrontation. I found myself understanding completely her avoidance of conflict by leaving to take her dog for a walk. She had faults, but so do we all. I would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to more clearly understand the triumphs and failings of what she really was - a human.

I don't buy that Mr. Markle was blind to his daughter's narcissist rage and abusive behavior.

"Sharp Elbows" is how the mother of Meghan's childhood friend described MEgain.

Does anyone remember the story about the raging argument Sparry and wife had on palace grounds while they were dating?

If so, correct me if I'm wrong: staff reported they had never overheard anything comparable to this level of shouting & screaming by a BRF member. Allegedly it was this argument that caused the dog's injuries.

I didn't believe the story until they shared photos from the so-called trying to roast a chicken engagement event (at Nottingham Cottage) which included the dog & his broken legs.

We received first hand reports of her narcissist rage while from Australians who witnessed: slamming doors, profanity, disrespectful tone to hosts, and of course the hot tea incident.

I wish I had saved Rebecca's notes bc Sparry and wife have managed to live up to their reputation.
