Look At Me #i also really enjoy playing nonreligious characters in these worlds where deities 100% exist not in a 'fuck the gods' way but in #a way somewhere between 'i'm all i need' and 'i called and no one answered' and 'may or may not go on an insane power hungry spiral and #try to get a touch of godhood' which is in part very due to my own agnostic and people-loving heart and 'haha what if i icarused this girl' #a resentful caution towards gods an immense respect towards religious companions and 'when your god isn't here to help. i will be' #anyway REACTION arcane ward you don't take damage im fine. next turn reaction shield ward's back up. the thing is. #she will drive her hp down. the ward isn't much like it goes past that temp hp. it's 14hp that shit goes down and carries to her hp #but it never drops. any leveled spell puts hp back into the ward. a 1st lvl shield puts it at 2hp and she can use it again #she is not suited for these conditions but my god it is fun to watch. i care her. #i explained that subclass feature to a player that's not in that campaign and said. like. yeah she can take damage. when her ward drops to #0 it carries to her. any leveled abj spell puts it back up. and she can use it and drive her hp down again. #do u understand what i am explaining to u! do you get it! she is and has always been a punching bag! #she was a very valuable asset to the army and the group she was drafted! into. because when she's there. people just don't fucking go down #aside from her. aside from her. practicing gratitude about this past year tonight and it IS actually helping?? a lot????????? unbelievable

#things im really grateful for: moved out and away! to the other side of the country! for a new job (first job!!!!!) which was terrifying but #it's been FIVE months and ive genuinely never felt prouder of myself for making it through!!!!! #and even though there HAS been some really really Bad Brain Days this job has allowed me to meet so many interesting people #and it also has allowed me to have a better view of my future; to understand what i really want to do; and given me the boost i needed to #work extra hard to get into my masters program (asylum and immigration law!!!) #ive also became less of a people pleaser and learned to stood up for myself more; get more accomodations and opportunities without stopping #myself to get them bc i didnt deserve them or whatever #i did SO many scary things that felt like pulling my own teeth out but 95% of these things worked out okay in the end #i even got a new job opportunity!!!! i was OFFERED a job????!?!?!?!???! can you believe it????!?!? #GOT MY AUTISM DIAGNOSIS #came out to my therapist! said a lot of scary things to scary people but i did it SCARED. AND IT WORKED OUT #ive accomplished so many things this year and grown up and healed a lot. sure there were bad days but - overall? #im so grateful im alive. im so grateful i got to meet so many wonderful & lovely people #(if youve read all of this please know that i love YOU and also i hope hope HOPE you had a wonderful year; or if you didnt then that the #upcoming year will be nothing but kind and supportive to you! 🌱🎀💫)

Ron. but then Henry turned out to have this whole backstory and on relistens I'm just like "he's just a sweetheart trying his best but actual kinda just needs to go feral on something and that's relatable as hell to me. he's basically a well written shonen protagonist who grew up without finishing his plot line and ended up in a different genre. he's cringy as all get out. he's a disaster. he's supportive of his friends and more of an extrovert than I could ever be. his kids were already my favorite kids.

not to Titans post but something about Gar being almost right outside the church (or whatever it was) when Rachel escaped always struck me as weird. either Doom Manor is really close to that church place and Gar just so happened to be there as a tiger or Gar followed them after they left roller rink and I honestly think that's what happened, the way the scene was lingering on his reaction after the group leaves and he's just randomly outside church at the perfect moment to meet up with Rachel again, almost like he knew what was going on and was ready to take her away from that place if/when she got out. It seems the most logical to me. I think he got curious after how weird the situation at the roller rink was and decided to follow them, and probably used his enhanced hearing to eavesdrop when he needed to like to learn about keeping Rachel at the church.. or he just is really well at hiding and heard everything from the shadows (which would also make sense since he seems to be a pretty good thief and would have to learn to sneak around and hide)

#there's so much about gar in s1 i need answers to but the show dropped it all #like why couldn't rachel see his memories when they held hands or heal him when he was poisoned #how did the asylum already know who he was when gar never introduced himself as 'garfield' in s1 #and even though they ask him to 'show us what you are' they seem to already have some kind of idea of what he can do #since they put him in a cage which would make sense if they expected him to turn into somekind of animal/monster #honestly who knows what the chief had ties to #if he's okay with killing a ton of people for his own gain i don't think he'd have a problem working with the organization to some degree #wow thinking about s1 again really reminded me of how interesting and dark (in a good way) titans used to be #they really should have kept going with that atmosphere and storytelling instead of changing it into whatever season 2 was and onward #gar logan #titans
