Hey guys! How've we been since I've been away? Hm? Not good? Yeah, I thought so.
I was AFK (which means Away From Keyboard for those who weren't aware, or didn't think to Google it /nm) because my mom had taken away my phone for a bit but I could still use it to help with my math homework.
I did lurk around Tumblr a bit, and I did "officially" come back online for a bit, but I mostly lurked.
And how delightful it was to see (can not clarify enough how sarcastic this is) that someone I follow but am not moots with decided that March 20th was the day they were doing to commit suicide. They did not succeed. But they sure as hell scared the fuck out of me. Same story I've seen before with my other friends, abusive parental figure, and possibly SA'd like some of my other friends. Lovely.
And then ANOTHER friend as it turns out has an extremely abusive mother and got fucking strangled by aforementioned mother, then said in the posts of a vent post, "something something maybe she should've killed me".
Being technically AFK I had to go on anon for a bit and try my damndest to prove to my friend that their mother is beyond saving, and there's no use seeing her in a positive light, and they by no means deserve what happened to them. I don't know if it worked. If you see this, I'm sorry if I came off as rude. But that really was the straw that broke the camel's back.
I'd been trying to keep together fairly well but I had been thinking of Liam, Nex's death was ruled a suicide (and now his murderers will not be charged), all of my other friends are traumatized and now I've discovered another friend has an abusive parent, and someone tried to fucking kill themselves.
And so, we have this. This song has been my coping mechanism for the past several weeks and what I can best describe as my theme song. Whenever I see something tragic with either my friends or someone else my first thought is the words of this song. Largely because of the themes of getting salvation for the unjust wrongs done upon Sweeney or in this case my friends.
I really don't know why I was blessed to know such wonderful incredible beautiful people only for them to suffer relentlessly and have gallons upon gallons of trauma.
Do bad things happen? Sure. But with my friends it's non-stop. One traumatic event after another after another after another and I'm. Just so done. I'm so sick. And I'm so tired. Of everything. Of all the pain and suffering. Of the fact I can't do anything. Of the fact I feel too much. This probably shouldn't be impacting me so much but for some reason it is.
I would've been apprehensive posting this because I'm kind of self-conscious about my voice but some of my friends are suffering 24/7 so I think my voice is the last thing I should be worrying about.
Enjoy if you want. Or don't. That's ok too. Love you guys.

Congrats on 800 followers!!!
Ever since I learned about SAGAU, I have been nervous to play music (idk why though??) But I listen to people like Cupcakke and Ayesha and now I'm wondering what the acolytes' reactions would be to the creator playing weird music ^^
🌸Thank you, thank you!🌸
Ahh, I do enjoy myself some good Cupcakke and Ayesha. I got both of em on my playlist, haha! I listen to some pretty out there music as well, if hyper-pop counts as weird. Who knows~ Anyway somehow this became Consort!Diluc and I apologize, my brain went running with this ask and it became.. this.
Warnings: Sexual Content. Cult and Self Aware AU. Somewhat Yandere.
Contents: This could be considered a crackpost at some points. Includes the song squidwards nose / commentary from because I bop to it, aight? . There is mention of "holy dildo." Forgive me i thought it was funny. Diluc is completely devoted to you(he wants to be your consort) and is suddenly worried about his dick size. Not beta read we die like rex-lapis.
Anyway!
I imagine it would be a normal day like any other in Mondstadt. The city is bustling, Flora giving people cute little flower crowns to promote her flower shop, bards singing about various topics and styles, Knights of Favonius helping people find lost cats, etc etc.
In the middle of the town square, stands your current puppets (thats what I call the"vessles" in my au) , in this case the traveller. I imagine depending on the emotional connection/friendship level you have to each of your puppets, people can sometimes hear you through them. Like a walking speaker or smth.
Since the twins don't got a friendship level, its just the equivalent of maxed out. They're crafting up some condensed resin for you, since you were AFK and they knew you were going to do so anyway. They were doing their best to ignore the loud music that they are emitting whilst doing so, Timaeus and others looking at them with wide eyes.
It isn't often your non-puppets hear obvious signs of the creator themselves, ya know! Literally everyone likes listening to you, whether it's Lofi music, rock, pop, or your voice itself!
Whenever they hear your voice from one of your more connected puppets, everyone is just filled with bubbles of happiness and excitement. Like! yay! I am directly in the High Gods presence! Sorta! Not really but its stilly exciting!
This time though, its a bit more of a "Ayo what the fuck?" sort of feeling instead of the usual.
Loudly blaring from their beings, was Cupcakke, and the iconic song "Squidward Nose".
Jean? Red faced, making sure no children are in the area, hands covering her face as she does her best, and fails, to think on who "dora the explorer" is, instead thinking about her god wanting a dick apparently as large as "squidwards nose". She has the church and the sisters notate this in a book. Might be some form of holy dildo or something, who knows.
Lisa is laughing her ass off the entire time, patting her on the back as she helps annotate notable things in the song with a few of the sisters from the Cathedral. Gotta keep their holy bible updated, afterall. She is tempted to write a new thesis for the scholars at Sumeru just for kicks and giggles about how their High God could potentially be more human than formerly assumed. She has a great new evidence, after all~ then again, the scholars at Sumeru are batshit crazy, so many not.
Venti is right at the travellers side, committing the song to his memory the best he can. Definitely getting in the way of them actually crafting the Resin, much to the twin's annoyance. He is always at whoevers side when you are playing any type of music, the music is completely new to him after all. You can bet he will be doing his best to sing the song at any late night tavern performances, even if he isn't getting all the references outside the obvious sexual stuff. Its an instant hit at Angels share, not just because Venti is singing it, but because the High God apparently likes the song as well. Also because its a great song.
Speaking of Angels Share, Diluc's face, is obviously, also as red as tomato when he hears Venti reciting the song later. He enjoys very much being a puppet, and he is definitely incredibly devoted to the High God. (aka you). He has to be devoted if he wants to fully commit himself to you, and possibly be your consort if you come down to Teyvat one day! This entire situation is completely uncouth, much to his dismay. He thinks its ruining your image before he realizes it is simply expanding it. Also, he is very upset. He is packing down there, definitely. But now he is self conscious because what if squidwards nose is better? He should honestly really kick out Venti, even is he is an Archon. Its getting in the way of his business.
Kaeya and Rosaria know about Diluc's somewhat obsessive worship and desire to be your consort, and they also know exactly why thats he is so red faced and upset and Venti's song. And because they absolutely enjoy it, they keep on giving Venti bottles of alcohol for encores of the song. And more, and more. Until Diluc has to excuse himself and leave. They are laughing the entire fuckin time. They always enjoy listening to your music whenever its playing, and they definitely agree that you should play similar songs more often. Its incredibly amusing.
🌸
Anywho's, that was fun to write! I do not know why Diluc was on the mind, but to be honest, I simp for the man highkey soooo-
Hope that was all alright for you dear Anon, and I hope you have a good day!
🌸Want to support me? Here is my Ko-fi and Masterlist!🌸

Susie Haltmann's Rapid Descent into Programming Hell
Susie: So!
Susie: Program no-one's seen before, in a coding language that doesn't seem to make any sense, and it's actively hostile and slightly psychic. Estimated chances of success are functionally zero and failure isn't an option.
Lag: That does sum it up nicely, yes.
Susie: In that case, we should be done by Tuesday. *deploys her visor and heads over to a console* Alright boys, let's get to work!
Ienzo: ...Is she being motivational, or narcissistic?
Lag: Yes.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*A Few Hours Later...*
Susie's console: *loud error noise*
Susie: Darn it! You slippery little fudger!
Susie:
Susie: Frick.
Susie: Shoot. Witch. Heck. Seriously!?
Lea: *shrugs* Disney.
Susie, full of contempt: Disney...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Much, Much Later...*
Abyss blob: *lightly splats against the side of its container*
Ienzo: *looks up* What?
Susie, laser-focused: ah-HAH! Got you now, you little bastard! ...Oh sure, that one still works.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Later Still...*
Susie: Okay, am I the only one who isn't AFK right now?
*sounds of fighting in the background*
Tron: I'm still here, miss Haltmann.
Susie: And I appreciate it, but since you are the computer it'd be a bit hard for you to not be here.
*more violence*
Susie: Seriously, how many people does it take to babysit a booger?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
*You Know The Drill*
Susie, visibly surviving on nothing but coffee and spite: Okay, seriously, I only have two hands! *grabs a nearby Soldier Heartless by the collar, because the situation she's mostly oblivious to has gotten That Bad* YOU! Do You Remember How To Type?
Soldier: *tries slashing at her*
Susie: *immediately pulls out her blaster and shoots it between the eyes, then points it at three others nearby as the first one dissipates* How about you guys?
Soldiers: *nod shakily, having just rediscovered the ability to feel fear*
Susie: Great! You're my new research assistants! Get to a keyboard and follow the prompts on the screen.
Ansem: *is momentarily distracted from the battle by this display* I'm sorry, is your friend commanding the Heartless?
Lag: Well, she is a capitalist, so I'd say her heart's probably dark enough for it. Just be glad she's using her powers for good.
Ansem: Fair enough.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Yep, Still Going...*
Goofy: *gets launched back into the computer area and decides to check in on things while catching his breath* Hey, miss Susie! How ya doin'?
Susie: *types frantically, then snarls and slams her head into the desk* This doesn't make any sense! There's no reason for this code to be so coordinated, it's Just! RANDOM! FREAKING! GARBAGE!
Goofy: Hmmm...leans over the back of her chair to get a look at the screen...and admittedly doesn't understand any of it* ...Well, I don't claim ta know much about computers, but if what's written ain't the thing doin' the thinkin', maybe it's whatever they wrote it into?
Susie: *sits stalk-straight and blinks*
Susie: That...that has potential. *starts typing again, even faster than before, and yet more focused* Yes, just need to- and over here...move those aside...
Susie: *freezes completely*
Goofy: ...Miss Susie?
Susie: *lifts up her visor* It fits.
Goofy: Huh?
Susie: IT FITS! I know what we're dealing with now! *laughs in relief and excitement, launching out of her chair and grabbing him by the cheeks* Oh you brilliant beautiful mutt I'd kiss you if I had a mouth!
Goofy: Aw, gawrsh, I didn't do much, just thought out loud a bit.
Susie: And your idle thoughts may have just saved everyone ever, especially Abyssal once someone finally finds her! *tuns over to where all the commotion is* LAG! Lag, we figured...out...uh...
*at this point, the blob takes up about half the room, and is covered with various colorful-and deadly- appendages and has a messy, lopsided bastardization of the Heartless Emblem on what could generously be called its forehead. There are also several low-to-mid tier Heartless around the room, including her own Soldier assistants and one particularly unlucky Blue Rhapsody that the Blob is currently absorbing. nobody's dead yet, thank god, but most of them are clearly running on fumes*
Susie: ...How long has that been going on?
Goofy: Well, the blob got out yesterday, but it only started gettin' big and eatin' Heartless this mornin.'
Susie: ...Right. *activates her visor again* Deal with this now, make big reveal that we're essentially up against the computer's pissed-off hard-drive later.
Goofy: The computer's what now?
Susie: You know how nearly every creation myth starts with some variation on "in the beginning, there was nothing?"
Goofy: Yeah...
Susie: *summons her business suit and points at the blob* That's the Nothing. Or, well, only part of it. And it only used to be. It's complicated.
Goofy: I'll take yer word for it! *draws his shield and hops up on the suit's rim* Now, shall we?
Susie: It'd be my pleasure. *revs the suit's engines*
*they charge into the battle, with Goofy of course belting out a hearty "YAAAAH-HOO-HOO-HOO-HOOEYYYY!"*
(Goofy Logic for the Win. To be fair, his idea does have some basis in his own lived experience, considering what happened with Jiminy's Journal in Re: Coded. And also to be fair he was absolutely right in this case. What can I say, the dog's got good insight.)
(You can probably imagine the Tom and Jerry-style antics during the hours between the blob escaping and discovering it could use Heartless as a food source.)
I LOVE THIS A LOT. NO WORDS. THIS IS JUST. SO FUNNY AND GREAT AND JUST?? YES. Also the capitalist bit is my favorite lol

I'm happy for people who aren't a fan of gambit, but I hope they eventually slash the amount of seasonal challenges for OTHER areas, too. I don't think it's fair to force people into Vanguard Ops, Crucible, Trials, IB, etc. for the big bundle of bright dust but give a bit of a break to people who hare gambit. It feels very frustrating as a player who never gets the bright dust bundle because I detest being forced into those other modes. People who hate gambit get a break but those of us who hate crucible or IB or trials or nightfalls just have to continue to such it up and either keep grinding content we hate or accepting we don't get the big bright dust bundle. I think gambit haters should have to continue to suck it up, too, to keep things fair.
Yeah, agreed. I'm really glad that people who dislike the mode won't be forced into it. It helps them, because they're not forced to play something they don't like, but it also helps people who DO like the mode because I'm not gonna have people who afk or throw games to get them over with faster.
I definitely agree that the same should be for other activities. Obviously this is tough to balance and all, but all challenges that are based on playlists should have alternatives to do in other playlists. So if this week's challenge is to get void kills in Crucible, it should actually be phrased as "get void kills in Crucible OR Vanguard ops." And if that makes you not have enough challenges, just add more playlist challenges in general. Instead of making two challenges like "get void kills in Mayhem" and "play strikes with an arc subclass," have both of those and make them valid in all playlists. So you keep two challenges and they can be done in either playlist.
For the record, you can always skip several challenges and still get the big bright dust reward at the end. If I remember correctly, it started with being able to skip 2, but ended up growing substantially over the seasons. Last season I'm pretty sure I skipped 4-5 challenges and got the final reward. This season you can skip A LOT. You can definitely skip all Crucible ones, which I've personally done. If you do the 10 seasonal bonuses, they count towards your challenges score which means you can skip 10 challenges total just from that:
Tumblr media
Plus the usual challenges you can skip anyway which for me is currently at 13 challenges skipped (might have been more, I think I completed one or two after I got the dust already). This is my current situation, you can see how many I didn't finish and that I got the dust:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just in case people didn't know! I hope this stays in the future as well, it made it much more bearable and less grindy. You definitely have enough time to still grab the extra dust with 2 weeks left. Some of the challenges and bonuses are really fairly easy to focus on and get done in a fairly short amount of time.
I really hope that they keep this and that we'll be able to do these in any playlist, not just for rewards, but also for these weekly challenges for bright dust.

Dear Daftaiyo,
It seems I have underestimated my absolute and incredible love and admiration for your art. I have realized I've been looking at your art repeatedly throughout the day. The pure emotion it encompasses in pure, human expression of art.
I am consuming many almonds as we speak.
Please tell us about your Zan smp Piglin shenanigans, and just generally about that Piglin fella. I've been obsessed with the animatic for many hours and I am positively vibrating with excitement.
I wish to make Piglin and generally Minecraft ocs too now. It is a plague.
Expect fanart, and perhaps, some ideas for my piglins.
Excitedly,
Marcus blood-smith
AWWWWW qwq
Well zsmp have been going since the 1 of april (our admins are the funnies people for that) it's not very lore heavy and some of the pranks I think still was not confirmed to be done by me😉 so I can't tell about those
But i can tell you a bit about Daft. My piglins lore started on other server actually. There we came up with story on how does my piglin stays piglin in overworld. She came through nether portal and was cured by one smart-ass guy, similarly to how villager curing works. But it's not as stable as villagers so she has to eat at least 1 golden apple a day.
Tumblr media
On zsmp Daft is married to my friends character. They have 2 adopted fox kids Chufa(white) and Saffron(red) While I was living near spawn I had one house, but now I've moved and some zombie piglin lives in it (it's random baby zombie piglin that somehow got in my house)
Tumblr media
Now I'm working on some snowy steampunky village, it's called Tinkerwing. The village have it's mascot - giant bird that lost its wings but got new steampunky once. It's name is Tinker. If we are talking about lore this village is where Daft learned about making toys and opened workshop.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah obout that. I have 2 shops on the server: custom toys and prismarine. Toy's shop name is Jack-in-a-box mostly I sell plushies based on mcyt cc's skins. But I like to imagine that there are a lot of mechanical toys, small robo birds, moving figurines, music boxes, etc
Prismarine shop doesn't have a name. It's small ship, ship that uses he/him instead of she/her (in my language we already use "he" talking about ships but it's canonicaly trans ship)
As for shenanigans
Well you've seen the animatic, my friend helped me draining the ocean monument. We've been doing it for few days it was quiet fun. But at the first day of prismarine shope I've made a mistake with prices I think I was selling 1 block of prismarine for 1 diamond And somehow from that we got to "How bad can I be" hehahah
Mostly I leave small pranks at my friends bases like sound machines under them^^ (not constantly opening doors but few seconds jingles using noteblocks) Or hiding new toys in their bases. I got A LOT of Gegg(qsmp) plushies and if I spot someone afk I just place bunch of them near the afk player.
Also I think i have bigger death count because um my toys are player head which you get only by killing players in the game-
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's much more happening in there, but I just feel like it's not for the text retelling you know. You should've been there or at least like see it in a video, but I don't record. Like our gaming district is invaded by skibidi toilets- I can't describe to you how and why this has happened.
We do have few people who stream sometimes but it's in russian and now very often. It's just friendly server server with friends:)
Tumblr media
AND YESS MORE PIGLIN CHARACTERS I love seeing those
They are just silly nether guys we need more of them
Almonds are supreme
Glad to hear from you again, Marcus blood-smith
Kind regards,
Daftaiyo~

[mild spoilers for .hack//Sign lol]
im going to catalogue my .hack thoughts here i've decided
i have been going through the entire .hack franchise since last April, starting with .hack//Sign because a friend introduced me to it and reminded me of my early obsessions with "Media Where The Main Characters Go Into A Virtual Gamer World That In A Technical Sense Sucks Ass But 8 Year Old Me Wanted To Be There More Than Anything Else"
This is the Purposefully Unfinished .hack//Sign thoughts post as I'm currently leading a large amount of my friends through Sign and they haven't seen the end yet so I can't talk about the end bits but all .hack//Sign fans should know that Yes I am an immense fan of That Part
Never thought how cool the concept of someone actually being stuck in a videos game really could be until this anime. I heard plenty about SAO and other "Virtual Gamer World" media out there pulling bits like "but if u die in game u die for real" and the like and not much else so seeing an anime that is vague enough about the actual events taking place that the question of "what DOES happen when you die if you're stuck here?" ends up being kinda scary! Especially with the addition of the actual coolest thing I've seen a VGW media do literally ever which is oh idk
actually making the game part a game
especially when being sold about SAO by my brother who braved the entire first season, it seems like none of these media make an effort to make the Game Part of the world like. a real game? not that they need to limit themselves to how a game functions to tell the story but it always feels like the rules of the game come second to The Protag Who's Above This Actually
and alternatively, .hack//Sign is all about a bunch of players just playing the game! People who pay a monthly fee (god i feel that) to play an open ended game where the biggest appeal comes from playing however you see fit, when so much is possible but all within a ruleset that a game could have. And technically a ruleset a game DOES have since .hack//Sign was created to be a precursor to the events of the .hack//Infection PS2 series, so it's all full circle! Small details like a limited character creator, items used to escape the dungeons or reveal the map, or even just your avatar freezing in place because you went afk are all prevalent in the anime and it makes it feel so much like a place to care about instead of a backdrop for a Normal Boy to do Cool Moves for Free
This also doubles up as the reason why I'm so attached to the escalating nature of What's Really Going On in '.hack's "The World" as even when it gets so intense it could even be considered out of hand, it's all hidden within something that is, to the average person, a regular ass video game to pass the time with your friends online. Technology like VR and super-huge MMOs have just touched down in this franchises world and have a strong public appeal. Nobody has reason to doubt this video game, making those who are caught up in the true secrets of the game all the more relatable. It's awesome I love it
I'll say more about .hack//Sign later once my friends who can see this (hi guys) have wrapped up Sign as well. But as someone who doesn't watch a lot of anime and Sign was like, my 3rd anime ever, it blew my mind into small pieces. I love .hack

Meg!!! when you said Victor in your tags about the baby girl post, please tell me you did not mean Victor from HIFL😭😭. Because no omg that just. It reminds me of your post about your WIP of MC calling Hades baby girl!!! And the idea of Zeus calling MC that in the middle of a meeting😂.
But honestly??? When I think of babygirl, I think of Diego (HIFL), Lucien (SE), and honestly??? Hydra, just a little bit. His snake that is ‘yes man’ would nod and wrap around MC😭.
Anyways!! How are you Meg👀? I hope you’re doing good💙🥺. I think you said recently you were on a flight? I hope you’re doing well wherever you are, and is it al right if I ask why’d you fly? Just curious but it’s alright if you don’t want to say. I’m doing kinda alright. I have a cough and it’s been tough to get it to go away but I’ll be fine sooner or later lol.
ALSO!! My other ask about Eros (well the second one other than the headcannon one), I mentioned how would he feel if Ares ended up killing MC when he tried to awaken Hera, and I thought of something more sad. A few of your AU fics always include Alex or another LI in AFK holding MC in the throne room when she’s dying and I just imagine Eros being in such despair that he literally shouts at all the gods and goddesses and loses his temper on all of them, especially his father! His attitude comes back full force and I could just imagine them standing there like “O.O”. Some with sympathy and maybe guilt, but others with shock at how Aphrodites child is literally berating them lol.
Anyways, I hope you’re alright and have a good day💙💙💙!!!
HII SARAH!! Sorry it took a bit responding, my wifi signal has been so bad :( and YES I DID MEAN HAVENFALL VICTOR!!!! he's my babygirl and he's terrible and i love him 😂
but i do agree on the other three, especially hydra. he's true babygirl material for me
i'm doing okay! yes, i flew down to new jersey to visit my parents :) we're camping so i can't be online too much unfortunately. i'll be flying back home on august 1st i believe. i'm sorry to hear about your cough!!! i hope it goes away and that you feel better! i know how hard it can be with a cough that won't go away :(
AUGHHHH sarah i can picture that in my head so perfectly....
ahem excuse me i'm just going to post a fic real fast :]

Since we're on that thing with entitled minors. I just remembered this story, and I think it's a bit funny. Not super related to my dolls, but also kinda is?
Most of my main characters are in their 30-50's, they might start out a bit younger, but most of the story plays when the characters are in that age range, just because as a teen, I grew tired of stories focusing on 14-19 yo's, since it just felt like the same thing over and over. So I decided it'd be interesting focusing on "older" characters. Well, you don't actually know at first read that they're that old, though I do mention them not being teens and stuff. Well, some kid who apparently was on the same server as me, server focuses on writing characters and world building, had the strangest freak-out when they found out that most of my characters "middle" aged, (I don't even think 30-40 really counts as middle aged these days?) and apparently thought it was the grossest thing that I'd make my MC's all grown adults.
LoL. Anyway, this was all in a convo I had with another server member when we compared and just had a small convo about our progress. That kiddo was lurking, and then literally went to a mod and complained, the mod just contacted me and said the minor had been telling them I was being creepy, and I was excluding* them, even though I'd never interacted with the kid before.
Few key words the mod gave me was that it was predatory, creepy, and that I was making the kid feel unwelcome. Repeat, I never interacted with the kid before, the kid was not even joining the convo, and I didn't even talk about anything even close to the NSFW line, it was just the most basic convo about "Yeah ok, So A is 30, and B is 40'ish, but they don't really interact after their first meeting until a year later." Just that kinda stuff. If that wasn't enough, kiddo then had a petty rant while I was AFK, and wrote an essay about how it was iffy for us adults to focus so much on how much older a character is from being a teen. And if you write a character old just for the sake of being old, you must have issues with people being young. Tl:Dr for the entire probs 1000 word essay: If you have old characters and mention it, you are weird because you must be a creeper to specifically mention a character being old instead of young, and it's sus if your young characters grow old.Yes, you read that right. And yes, the kid insinuated you're a pedo for NOT writing teen characters as your MC's, or for having teen characters become 30+ yo adults bc you're aging up a "minor" bc aging up means you wanna frick them. * Excluding is a more specific rule about several people ignoring a single person for no reason when the person is actively engaging with the others. If you have a problem with a person you tell a mod, not do schoolyard bs like ignore them. It's taken seriously so I guess that's why the kid said it, and why mod mentioned it. Only way I can relate this to my dolls, is that these characters are represented by a few dolls I own. And Bonus story for that, because I had a similar experience in a way.-
I buy adult sculpts which often still look young because there's no wrinkles, or anything in the sculpt itself, bc let's be real, there's no real middle ground specifically for mature older looking sculpts. You either have kid-teen dolls, smooth skinned adult, or deformed shrivelled oldies. The few who technically would work just aren't my aesthetic sadly. So I normally get mature sculpts, and then add in small wrinkles, like under eye, crowsfeet, and smile lines, while doing the face-ups. Twice I've gotten a comment that I'm doing "the face-up wrong" because the doll aren't "intended to have wrinkles" and one said that me using "young" sculpts implies I'm sexualizing teens. Just for reference, the pics I got this specific comment on, is on a pic of two Loongsouls I own, and each of those is on the mature body sculpt so 68-75cm, which I'd argue are their clearly adult sculpts/sizes.

are there... are there more details about Revivebur teaming up with Grian and being a fanboy like you mentioned on the ask blog because I'm gonna cry that is so precious to me
not currently, but i can come up with some if you'd like!! ^^
- when he gets the team lists, he's super excited!! he gets to team with both techno and lord grian dreamslayer??? just imagine, if he'd stayed dead he would never have gotten to experience this. he's really happy!!
- like irl, he practices not swearing! since ranboo also doesn't swear, he asks for tips and listens very diligently as ranboo comes up with bullshit stuff on the spot because he's not avoiding swearing per say, he just... doesn't. he wants to help his new friend, tho, so he does his best to give suggestions!
- so wilbur practices by stubbing his toe and not swearing! tommy finds him doing this and is concerned, until he explains what's happening and tommy also gets excited. he offers to help wilbur practice by kicking him in the shins, and laughs at him when he agrees (tommy still does it, though he doesn't kick nearly as hard as he's capable of). mostly, it's just the two of them joking around while tommy tries to trick him into swearing
- he does get embarrassed abt forgetting the outfit :' he got too excited about the whole thing and it just completely slipped his mind, but he's glad that he wasn't the only one and that the others only jokingly tease him about it and aren't actually upset
- wilbur is pretty nervous about the whole thing, but grian and jimmy's easygoing attitudes paired with techno's familiar casual humor helps him relax a lot!
- buildmart is a high point for him, being a floater plays to his strengths as well as scratching the persistent itch in his brain to be useful :' it makes him really happy when grian compliments the team's communication afterwards, bc he also feels like they did a really good job and the confirmation from someone whose opinion he respects is rlly nice :D
- he does fall back into the role he used to have in previous tournaments of cheering the team up and keeping spirits high. it takes a bit to readjust to it, but thankfully he has high energy that day and his positive attitude & silly bits like replacing swearing with scatting keep the team's energy up as well
- his personal score being eighth is absolutely thrilling, esp when techno comes over to celebrate w him! he gets even more excited bc of it, and ends up expending more energy than he means to (which is fine in the moment! but becomes a slight problem later)
- the gong is great!! it's very nice actually, and helps him level out his energy levels a bit. unfortunately this man is zero or one hundred after Certain Things That Happened, so the gong lowering his energy actually kinda causes his crash sooner than it would have happened otherwise
- so u know how in the actual event, cc!wilbur's fire alarm went off? so i've decided the in-universe equivalent of that is he got too worked up by the energy/excitement of the event and everything and ends up having a bit of a breakdown in the middle of parkour tag. he ends up sitting out for a little bit to regain his composure (which his team is very understanding of!! mental health is a complicated thing, and none of them are exactly strangers to panic attacks) and phil subs in for him for a bit while he calms down
- anyway things are a bit better after that ^^ he's a lot calmer, and kinda embarrassed about what happened but they're not letting him be apologetic bc dude this kind of thing happens sometimes, it's fine
- also, grian being a bit tough on himself helps humanize him in a way bc wilbur gets it like 'oh same' so they're both supportive of each other and it's a nice dynamic, they sort of start to bond a little
- they're all disappointed abt not making it to dodgebolt, and wilbur is blaming himself bc he had a breakdown in the middle of parkour tag and played poorly for a bit there (by which i'm referencing when he was afk in the actual event). they all cheer each other up pretty quickly tho, and for once it's hard to hold onto the bad when the rest of his teammates are actively focusing on the good parts of the day and engaging with him in discussion about those good parts
- while dodgebolt is happening, grian actually takes him aside for a bit and, without prying, offers advice and a few breathing exercises that could help in a similar situation in the future. he also gives him his com number, and tells him that if he has any other questions abt that stuff or he just needs someone to talk to then he's welcome to call (with a joke about like 'as long as you keep it pg' or something)
- after the event, he goes up to grian and asks him for a favor. when he explains what and why, grian smiles and agrees. getting back, wilbur goes to see tommy and presents him with an autograph signed by lord grian dreamslayer. tommy hadn't asked wilbur to bring him one, but he didn't have to- wilbur knew he looks up to the guy bc of his dreamslayer title, and he knew getting an autograph would make him happy so he did it
- idk, wilbur just has a good day and a lot of fun at a friendly tournament, and makes some friends bc he deserves happiness and good things :}

Alrighty, it's been a while and the Deadpulse!au of yours has finally started to brainrot for me. care to share the juicy details?
oh do i!
*cracks nuckles*
Okay so, first off i'd like you to appreciate the name for the au, obviously it's a reference to Impulse's name, and him being "dead", but it's also bc his actual pulse (like hearbeat stuff) stopped, so therefore it's a dead pulse, ta-daa!
The idea was based on a one-shot i read once, where Impulse dies, but there's a glitch and his soul respawns while his body remains, so Zedeath has to drag him back to his body. I'll try to find it later so I can properly credit.
So my premise is pretty similair; Impulse dies (prob to a creeper but might change depending on whether or not i can come up with an angstier idea), his totem of undying goes off but there's a glitch, so instead of all of Impulse being revived, only his soul is. And in this case, there isn't a Zedeath to help him return. So now he can't talk to people or otherwise interact with the world around him, though he can phase through blocks and stuff, it's a bit like he's stuck in spectator mode.
He tries to tell people what happend, but to no avail. Impulse's body lies somewhere in the middle of the forest for days, until finally, finally, somebody finds it. Who it is I'm still not sure, just that it probably won't be anyone from Boatem or team ZIT. Maybe Bdubs, maybe Iskall, maybe Ren, maybe somebody entirely else, who knows, certainly not me. I still gotta figure out who I can get the most angst out of with this hehe.
So the hermit runs and tells boatem, who freaks out because, they haven't seen Impulse in a while, they assumed he was afk at a farm but obviously he wasn't, so how long has he been out for? How long had he been laying there? Obviously, Zedaph and Tango are contacted, and Xisuma as well, but...
X can't figure out what's wrong. He's checking the logs, the world code, the players' data and... nothing seems amiss. Impulse is still shown as active, although afk, and X can't figure out why he won't wake up, why his body seems to be dead, no heartbeat, no breathing, no nothing. The option of killing Impulse and simply hope he respawns is brought up, but quickly shot down. They can't risk it, after all maybe that would just make things worse, would kill Impulse permanently... Besides, you can't kill a body that already is dead, Cleo reminds them. So the hermits are left clueless, with no idea what they should do.
And Impulse? Well, Impulse gets to watch as it all unfolds. He gets to watch as his friends deseperately try to bring him back, and Impulse hopes so much that they succeed, he wants to wake up from this nightmare he's stuck in, where nobody can hear him, nobody can touch him, where he is powerless to do anything. He gets to watch as some of his friends eventually give up, seemingly accepting the fact he's gone, and he tries to yell, scream to make them listen to him. He watches as they mourn him, hurt because of him, how the server seems to become almost bleak and lifeless, and he gets to feel guitly over it. He tries to be there for them, to offer them some sort of support, and sometimes it almost feels like it works. He gets to watch how some friends still try to save him somehow, gets to watch how the admins, especially Xisuma, work themselves to the ground to try and find out just what exactly happened to him, ignoring their own health and safety in the process, and he gets to feel guitly over it. He tries to tell them to stop, to take care of themselves, to bring them to their senses, and sometimes it almost feels like they listen to him.
And then, eventually, he gets to watch as they move on. His friends are still sad over his loss, of course, still miss him, but it's been weeks, maybe months, and life goes on, and so should they. He gets to watch as they slowly get better, slowly start to heal, and seek comfort in each other. Hermitcraft slowly but surely returns to what it once was (it'll never be what it once was, not with one of them gone, they will never be able to completely let go), with pranks being played again, minigames created, silly little wars waged, and the hermits letting themselves be happy
And maybe, Impulse thinks, he should feel scared, should feel angry, should feel betrayed, but all he can feel is an odd sensation of... relief. Relief that his friends will turn out okay after all, relief that he didn't ruin their lives, relief that the pain he caused wouldn't be everlasting.
And maybe, he is scared. Maybe he is terrified, that he'll be stuck in this limbo forever, that he will be nothing more than an observer to the hermits' lives, that he will never be able to participate in life again, but he pushes that fear far far down, ingores it as best as he can, because he wants to focus on his friends, who are happy and okay now, and he should stop being so fucking selfish-
And maybe, after months of being gone, he returns. Just like that. And suddenly he has a body again, and he can talk and touch and feel and it's all too much and he doesn't know what is happening and neither do the hermits but he's back now so it's okay, everything's okay.
Right?

That process thing you shared for making looping scenes was cool! Tho I wonder how the other skeladies would react to The Human standing on (what looks like) a counter. 🤔 (The picture in the middle. I'm sorry for bothering you if I'm wrong. 😓)
Oh wow thank you so much!
Honestly, all the other ladies would largely be cool with it, just some would probably maintain a closer eye on The Human standing on a counter - they don’t have magic, let alone gravity magic, how foolish, best to offer a steadying hand - oh yes, on the back, right - Crimson be good - Scarlet no stop trying to pick up the Human - Amber oh my stars don’t join them -
They’re a hilarious bunch, basically. So long as the human isn’t wearing dirty shoes up there, they’d probably be fine, if a bit obscene in their usual way ;D
Tumblr media
I’ve actually done art of her! Here’s the first art I did of her (old art warning, oof), and here’s one a little bit later of her talking with her girlfriend Coda (lilytale gaster). ;D
… she pretty much looks like a big strong curvy sapphic lady who’s a classy and mildly old-school fashion oriented in taste but casual bartender X)
Tumblr media
Oof, that’s intense- and man, I get the vibe of wanting to work with that. I think it’s a fascinating subject, and honestly, I can kind of go into full thesis mode on any number of ways things like this might pan out (frankly, that’s my state on most hc pitches, my brain just… finds ways to run with it >v>;;;)
Overall though, to simplify it, I’ll say for certain that ‘sensing LV’ as well as other ‘stats’ isn’t something you get an immediate knowledge of for monsters - I much prefer thinking of it as a specific action, a skill if you will, that has to actively be employed; but it’s a cultural norm not to unless in an Encounter, or if there’s other strong reason (kind of like invading personal space, I suppose, at least a little).
However… I also think re LV specifically, the ladies from harsher universes could have a sense for it. It’s a survival thing, a little - you just… get the knack for telling when someone’s carrying that sort of weight. So the Fell, Swapfell, and Horrortale sisters would cotton on quick. They’d probably be… not wary, or even rude (stones, glass houses, and all), but definitely aware. In general, though, the ladies aren’t going to treat you as a pariah for having a dark past; it’s one of those things that… well, takes a while to ‘unlock’ for any friendship, you know? In the end, depending on the circumstances, they’d find their own ways to accept that and understand you better (for the sisters that have no LV), and/or empathize pretty deeply and be someone you can really talk to about the burdens of that sort of thing with, once you get close enough to them over time (for the sisters that have LV).
Tumblr media
Oooo, that could definitely be a lot of fun to work with, that’s a nice HC ya got there! :D For the sake of Lilytale (and my usual portrayals of the skelebros) there’s no ‘look and know they’re physically hurt thanks to Soul Knowledge’ ability amongst them; even checking a soul is something they can only do With Purpose, not at first glance. It’d be pretty invasive otherwise, for their purposes; not like seeing someone naked, but definitely getting a better look than most would be aware of. They tend not to as a cultural norm unless it’s a fight thing (eg, the Fell & Swapfell bros & sisters are more likely to check sooner than later for protectiveness instinct reasons).
But I do love the idea of monsters sensing intent, which is something I roll with a lot in my own HCs, and sensing people’s hurt could be a pretty easy adjacent skill! I’m really loving the idea of seeing it in a accupuncture-esque sort of thing; especially re magic flow, maybe? given the relation to the Soul -
Overall, that’s a neat heckin’ HC! Seems a bit intimate to be able to see all that, to be certain, which could be it’s own fun playground of possibilities, heheh.
Tumblr media
Ahhh honestly, I’m real spotty on Discord, and can be a bit wild in timing on messages in general! I don’t really give out my Discord much unless it’s to mutuals/people I’ve talked with a lot, because I’m still not reliable on there, though I do my best X) But you’re always welcome to shoot me a DM through Tumblr!
Just know that I’m definitely still human, as well as an anxious dork. Sometimes I go a bit afk just for my own sanity/because I get busy, but I always try and return messages eventually!
Also, ah, please keep in mind that I’m 25; for anyone under 18 in particular, I try to keep a more respectful relationship in place. For everyone’s comfort involved, ahaha, but I still do my best to answer questions and keep up as I can! Friendship’s a funny thing; it really just develops naturally, I feel, and sometimes you can get along well with someone but never quite click to deeper friendship. That’s okay too! I think it’s important and great to have a lot of different kinds of friends, whether it’s the few super close types you share everything with, or the lower key friends you occasionally gush about X topic with and have fun in a fandom with. ^^

Can I ask a question? I'm not trying to offend anyone; I just saw your post with Island Radio and I'm curious. What is the appeal of shipping real people? It's not something I personally am comfortable with because real people, but I understand others don't feel the same as I do. I just am curious as to why. Again, I'm sorry if this offends anyone, and I'm not trying to ship-shame, I just want to understand someone's thoughts on the subject. Thank you.
First things first, I want to say thank you for asking in a nice way. I get how people could be uncomfortable with it, especially with the way a lot of shippers are and I personally am very against people, like, bringing up the real person fic and that kind of stuff to the actual actors. It’s just weird and uncomfortable for everyone.
For me, the appeal of shipping real people is the same as the appeal of shipping characters. You see these people - who, really, are basically just like fictional characters to the fandom, you know? What I mean is that we really only see a little piece of who these people really are (the character they play for the fandom), only know a little bit, and for most people even meeting these people is such an unobtainable thing, again, they might as well be fictional characters - So anyway, you see these people and they have this amazing chemistry and they just click together so well and it’s just so easy to imagine the ways those friendships could blossom into more under the right circumstances just like any other fic with any fictional characters.
That’s why AUs exist for fictional characters too. The circumstances of the media these characters were originally created in doesn’t facilitate their romantic relationship, but their bond is so strong and the connection and chemistry is there and we can’t help but imagine “What if they were in a situation where this could bloom and become more?”
Also, I mean, think about it, people do it afk with people they actually know, too, don’t they? It’s like when you have two friends who click really well and you’re like “man those two are so good together I hope they start dating” or like “You know who you would REALLY like? Here, meet my other friend from my other friend group!” That kind of stuff
But I mean, that’s just my perspective on it and I know some people are just creepy and weird and that’s a shame but honestly I have to believe in the good in people and so I think most real person shippers are like me and it’s just that the ones that aren’t of course get the most attention as with any extremists of any group of any kind.
Anyway, I hope this made sense and helped and shed some light on it for you so that even if you’re never comfortable with it, maybe you get it more now :)
P.s. Totally feel free to ask any follow up questions if you have any Nonnie

theres this one huge issue in online games wherein the large majority (or perhaps vocal minority?) of players you meet just expect you to automatically be good at games. we all know a lot of people are too invested in winning at video games but some people literally can't accept losses every now and then. you get people that go into chat and say shit like "lag op" or "can't carry my team" (and that's some of the most mild stuff you see; it only gets more abusive depending on the player, some directly cursing you out), people that simply give up and go afk, people that throw matches and actively work against teammates because "there's no way we can win now so I might as well have fun." i myself used to get pretty upset at losses and i'm still working on being chill about it more often, but like if a teammate isn't being awful in chat i'll at least keep my salt to myself. so many people let their emotions get the better of them and start cursing their teammates out, and having been on both sides of them in the past i can say with confidence that these morale beatings help no one. if your teammate is on tilt chances are they're a bit frustrated or at least not thinking very clearly and yelling at them isn't going to make that change. it won't even make you feel better either. when i used to get all mad and go into chat and say things like "wow no team" it wasn't cathartic, it just kept me locked in the mindset that losing a single match of an onlime game was the end of the damn world. if it's not mlg, why bother freaking out? don't lose sleep over losses of matches that you played for fun. if nothing is on the line, you have to swallow your pride because even the best players don't have 100% win rates, and being the best at a game isn't necessary to enjoy it either. the most fun i have is always when the enemy team and my team are just saying stupid shit to each other throughout the match, goofing off and not really worrying about the win. so just chug your suck at video games juice and come shitpost in chat with everyone

I've been thinking a lot lately about how important walking is to my life in front of the screen as a motion designer, so I wrote this piece for my newsletter. I think one of the hardest parts about being an entrepreneur is actually creating a daily routine that's conducive to my work over time, and doesn't lead to burnout. So I thought posting it here might deliver it to some receptive ears. Here we go...I'm going to try and convince you that creators need to think as carefully about their AFK* life, as they do about their screen life. It's a pretty long piece, but I think you'll find valuable insights as an artist.*away from keyboardhttps://imgur.com/qzBzszKLet's start with some science. (It might get a little heavy-going but stick with me for the takeaway.)There are two phases to creative thinking. There is intuitive thinking, which is fast and automatic, and there is divergent thinking, which is the ability to take a step back, and make sense of all those intuitive ideas floating around in your head. (A simple way to think about this is left brain vs right brain, but this is oversimplified.)These two phases are at opposing ends, but they are both essential to sustained creativity.Work at the computer falls into the intuitive thinking category. Focus narrows on the problem that needs to be solved.Finding a stock video of a beach sceneEditing a 3 hour holiday recordingWatching inspirational videos for a logo animation you're creatingDefining and condensing problems can improve productivity, but with screen-time alone, you could be completely off-target. Worst yet, you might not realise it until you've sunk a week into the process. "Well, I guess I'm not getting that time back!"If you can relate to this, there's a good chance you would benefit by paying more attention to divergent thinking. Although, there's also a good chance you'll think it's goofing off (if you're a bit of a workaholic). As author Tim Ferriss would say, you're falling victim to the lure of W4W, or work for work's sake. From the linked article:"It is a form of procrastinating and laziness, reinforced by years and years of habits and society-defined dogmas which value busyness before productivity and meaningful work."Ouch. I've been there, I know.Alright, takeaway time. Assuming you're putting in the hours learning skills in front of the screen, how can you sustain your growth as an artist?https://imgur.com/E4WsmAcDivergent thinking through walkingThis brings me on to walking. (Although the lesson can be applied to any activity that isn't directly work-related, and that affords you the mental space to idly mix intuitive ideas that might not otherwise have been associated.)This is my personal account of the habit, but it's worth knowing that some of the most creative minds were walkers, too: Einstein, Steve Jobs, Charles Dickens, Friedrich Nietzsche, Pyotr Tchaikovsky.I love walking. It drags me away from my screen vortex and doesn’t load me up with reasons to procrastinate. No inner tubes, no gas, or waiting for other people. Just shoes on and go. In England, the rainy weather can complicate things but I’ll take a dry, overcast day any time. What I also love is that walking is just about one of the most accessible activities anyone can do. You don’t need money, you don’t need equipment, you don’t need permission. You don’t need to tackle the guilt of feeling like you’re at an unfair advantage to others.Walking in public spaces allows you to step outside of capitalism for just a moment. Like much of the world, it now seems like you can’t go to many places in England without being charged some fee. Once a token of public service, the humble library is a less common sight today. Don’t be surprised to see a Starbucks instead. (No free seats there, though.)This may seem as though it offers no concrete lessons for motion design. But......if you work on your screen for most of the day, there's a good chance I'm speaking to you. If you’re fortunate enough to have been born with functional legs and eyes, it’s likely that you could freely go out in 10 minutes and take a walk around the block. That’s beautiful to me.It’s also likely that you’d see a tree or two, and for maybe a moment catch a glimpse of the sky’s infinity above. That’s beautiful to me as well. These things are beautiful because they’re free, they offer a comforting permanance in a rapidly changing world, and they’re readily available all over the planet. In the fleeting, disposable societies we’re clawing ourselves into as everything becomes monitized, I think that’s a beautiful thing to remember.https://imgur.com/MnU0LNnThis email has nothing and everything to do with motion design. It's the difference between hitting a ceiling as a mono-creator, and continuing to grow as you zig-zag forward. It’s about the importance of recharging, of stepping away, of switching gears. It’s about the importance of practicing gratitude for the world outside of the internet. It’s about nurturing growth in other non-work related areas of your life; listening to a story audiobook or a personal growth podcast.Steven Fry lost 84lbs through walking to audiobooks. He'd struggled with weight for as long as he could remember. You can bet his life is better in a thousand little ways as a result of losing that weight. A better life has a good chance at increasing your creative output. From getting out of bed in the morning with a bounce, to finding more satisfaction in everyday things like interacting with others, to being encouraged to improve your diet. And of course, it's about the insights you’ll get for your work when you give your mind a little space. Changing perspective doesn't take effort if you make a habit of changing the environment in which you think. So you see, this article has come full circle. It is simultaneously about walking and working in the life of an artist, and about how each can improve the results of the other. It's about how practicing divergent thinking habits can have other benefits like losing or managing weight. And the best thing is that you are probably able to put it straight into action at the cost of nothing. The question is, will you take that walk today?Any questions, comments or constructive criticism?Reply in this thread or send me an email at contact[at]3dmybusiness.com.
