1992 - Demri Parrott (R) and Fabiola Gonzalez by Cliff Feulner in Arlington (WA).
For this particular photoshot, Fabiola remembers:  “It was her who brought us to this location for a shoot. She wanted farmlands and horses, and piggies, and dirt roads aligned with wild flowers. Her vision totally. Her memories of her childhood.“
Shared by Fabiola on facebook.

LQ version of a small Demri Parrott photo published in a German Penthouse magazine, shot by Cliff Feulner. Probably this was taken around fall 1991/early 1992.
Very special thanks to Ana, who runned Memories of Demri, for sharing this with us.

TEAMWORK! Lovely Ana from Memories of Demri on ig found out that Cliff Feulner's photos were in some Spanish editions of the Penthouse magazine and I bought them but we didn't know if she was there or not... My sister received the magazines and Demri was there!
If she knew that today, people from different countries (Spain and Belarus) and different generations did this teamwork to share her photos and stories, Demri would be THRILLED!!
Ana, I am so happy we did this together!!!

October 1991 - Demri Parrott modelling for Hustler magazine, in the editorial "Brave Nude World", photographs by Cliff Feulner.
“My favorite memory of her is when I was on a flight home from Los Angeles and she just happened to be on the same flight. I was at the back of the plane and she was up front. After we got airborne, she stands on her seat and screams, ‘Hey Shawn! I just did a shoot for Hustler! Wanna see?’. Then she unfolds this 24x36 nude shot and the plane gasp! The stewardess yelling, ‘Miss! Please! We have children on this flight!’. She was the epitome of the term ‘firecracker’. One of a kind.” – Shawn Torren
Very special thanks to Ana from Memories of Demri for buying the magazine and sharing them will all of us watermarked free, used with kind permission - you are a star!

“Art must inform, excite, challenge and of course survive... that is entertainment! I like to engage the mind as well as the eye of the observer. I prefer to let my photos touch him spontaneously and elicit a genuine reaction.” – Cliff Feulner
Demri Parrott and her friends by Cliff Feulner for Penthouse magazine, October 1994 Spanish issue.
Cliff Feulner was a vice-president and art director of an advertising agency when he developed the innovative methods that he has since made famous. In order to depict certain images without going over budget, Feulner began using a technique known as rear-screen projection. Combining this with superimposed photographs on backdrops, he has created images of subtle, dramatic complexity. His efforts first won notice in 1974, when Life Magazine awarded him first prize in it’s photography competition.
Very special thanks to Ana from Memories of Demri.

Penthouse February 1997
Cliff Feulner took some photos at the February 1997 Penthouse magazine, in the pictorial "Fear of Flying", starting on page 89 (source/source/source/source).
Since the photos from the February 1995 issue where the same as the ones from the June 1994 issue, i have a doubt...
As these photos are not fashion nor news/current world, is there any chance that they were taken much earlier and Demri is there? She died on October 1996...
Any info will be welcomed!

PS: We published this entry 2 days ago, conveniently marked as "adult contant" but with the photos censored. It was flagged and we appealed but it was not successful (despite being properly labelled and censored). We publish it again, with the images cropped this time.

Why Do We Love...
Demri Parrott
Demri Parrott was one of the muses we knew about later. She was not a childhood idol (like Shannen Doherty or Drew Barrymore) and I think not even a teenage idol (like Jane Asher or Lee Starkey), but she came a bit later in life (like Bebe Buell or Tina Aumont).
Tumblr media
[August 1991, by Alison Dyer]
We first new about Demri via the Vintage Groupies Livejournal. It was a great community where all the members created entries for their favourite muses. As usual, the 1960s ladies, the Beatlegirls and the Stones girls were the most popular, but every now and then there were the 1970s baby groupies, and also lesser known women, like Asian girlfriends, or the 1990s babes. And one of them was Demri!
Tumblr media
[1992 - Demri and Layne at Rock Candy Seattle in benefit for AIDS]
We didn't know ANYTHING about Demri when a user uploaded some pictures (back then there were always the same 4 photos with no information about the year or the photographer) and a short biography (basically the info about her obituary).
She was the girlfriend of Alice in Chains singer Layne Staley, and an artist and model on her own, very beautiful and creative, and a true shining light according to those who knew her. We were shocked that she died aged just 27 and, as with the other muses, we just started collecting photos of her from the net and looking for more information about her.
Tumblr media
[Demri in 1988]
As with all our other muses, we built a little website for her (in a platform called piczo that was very popular back then) and even some of her actual friends contacted me, or I contacted them for information about some pictures (Barbara, Fabiola, Pony, Jack). It was great and a lovely way to keep her memory alive. I think they loved that a foreign girl, who was just a little girl when Demri passed away, now was sharing all her love of her on the net!

[1992 - Demri and Fabiola H. Gonzalez in Arlington, by Cliff Feulner]
Now we keep looking for Demri's best pictures and the most accurate information about her. We found amazing instagram accounts, facebook pages and tumblr blogs that are keeping her memory alive with respect and no judgement. Even her friend Amber texts me from time to time!

Today, for what would have been her 54th birthday, we wanted to share with all of you, dear followers, how we knew about Demri and what made us love her.
Here we share:
OUR BIOGRAPHY OF HER, WITH LINKS TO AMAZING SITES
HER POSTS IN OUR BLOG
OUR PHOTO COLLECTION HOSTED AT GOOGLE PHOTOS (all the photos have been collected from the net, photographers, details, websites etc are credited when known)
HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY DEAR PIXIE STAR - GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN.

Are there more Demri Penthouse/Cliff Feulner photos to upload? Thank you for scanning them and sharing them with us!
Hi,
No, all the photos from the magazines we bought and scanned with the help of @memoriesofdemri have already been uploaded
From now we have scheduled some that @modelartist-demri shared a while ago, and are the ones you'll see or have seen.
We know there is a German 1996 edition of Penthouse with a "Feature" on Cliff Feulner, not a pictorial. We contacted 2 sellers we saw on ebay, but they did not reply (one just said he wasn't shipping to Spain). So we don't know how many pictures are or if Demri is in any of them. In the end it was too expensive to buy not knowing anything (well, as said, one even didn't ship so). Hopefully one day we will know!
You're welcome!! It was great doing this with Ana, we were so excited when we got the magazines, we didn't know if Demri was there, how many pics, etc. So they are for everyone to enjoy!

Grateful despite everything
I have uploaded at VEF some more Demri uncensored photos that Cliff Feulner took of her and were published in the 1990s at Penthouse magazine, both in the US and internationally. I can send you the link if you request it in a private direct message but I wanr you know that I just login here twice a month.
It's not all of them (yet). Hopefully one day we will be able to live in a free world and share content without being censored, we are in the 21st century. Women can love women, Demri was isexual, and these photos are just posed photos, not real s*x between them.
I hope, despite all the hate and jealousy and secrecy, next year is a better year for the Demri community online. We should support each other, instead of fighting one another or claiming knowing all the facts and all this drama.
I'll see all of you on my blogspot blog for Demri and just reblogging here new content.
