I'm curious about something... 👀 When Bruce bitted Lex's neck he became automatically pack, right? So this can happen with anyone? If a omega or alpha bite someone's neck and the person in question survives the bite then that means that the Omega/alpha is they pack Alpha/Omega?

Yes! I view the biting as a way to speed up the creation of a pack bond. I.e., you can form a pack bond with someone slowly over time, by scenting and being together, but you can also just bite them.

Bruce was careful to bite the back of Lex's neck so he didn't bleed out or die. This was in order to convince Zod that Bruce was now the "top" omega in the "pack" Lex had created. At that time, Zod was essentially Pack Alpha of the pack Lex was trying to put together and, as such, deferred to his Pack Omega when challenged.

With Zod gone, Clark became Pack Alpha easily. Mostly because he was Bruce's alpha and there was no other alpha to challenge him for the role. I suppose Lex could've tried to challenge Bruce again but he was in Arkham.

Ok I have a couple of wakuu headcanons cookin in the ole noggin but I'll share my favorite one so far:

This is inspired by one of the post-marriage dialogues you can get with Wakuu, where he tells the player he bought his dad new yellow boots, but is pretty sure he won't bother to wear them.

My hc is that, yeah, Wakuu and Wataru still have their disagreements. Wataru still won't budge on certain things (especially new yellow rain boots). But if the farmer gives him those new boots? You will see him wearing them the very next day.

He is an absolute softie for his son's partner/spouse (even if it doesn't seem like it because he's still got his gruff edge)

And it's equal parts confusing, frustrating and endearing for Wakuu. But what Wakuu doesn't know is that Wataru gets soft because he's happy he gets to see his son happy w/ someone. It warms his stormy heart!

despite all of her responsibilities, crimson coral cookie still manages to be an incredibly attentive spouse who does whatever she can to keep you safe and content — whether that means passing down some of her duties to her sisters in order to tend to you herself, or making sure that her sisters and frilled jellyfish cookie are able to keep you as happy and as healthy as possible

as far as pet names go, she’ll either call you by your name or go with something traditional like ‘dear’, ‘sweetheart’ or ‘my love’ — sometimes said with affection and other times with exasperation when she’s especially stressed and really needs some touch and some quiet

she doesn’t tolerate any kind of cruel treatment towards you whether it’s to your face or behind your back and she will immediately and harshly reprimand anyone she sees/hears doing so — making it abundantly clear that such catty behaviour isn’t tolerated from anyone in tearcrown (not to anyone, but especially not to her beloved partner)

you’re the only one who gets to see her be completely open and vulnerable, the only person with whom she discusses her insecurities and fears and other things that she wouldn’t even mention to her sisters, and thus you’re the only person who is truly able to comfort and calm her down in moments of complete distress — such as in the aftermath of everyone fleeing tearcrown where, once all of the mermaids were safe, she broke down in your arms and you just held each other for hours (relieved that each other were safe but still grieving all that was lost — above all else grieving white pearl cookie)

she barely gets any sleep, being an early riser and a late sleeper, but what little rest she does manage to get is usually at its most peaceful when she’s in bed with you — feeling your weight and heat in her arms, knowing that you’re alive and safe and there, soothes her beyond belief and never fails to help her drift off far quicker than she would otherwise

whilst she does wake early, usually before dawn, she’s always careful to not wake you up — smiling softly and gently kissing your cheek as she tucks you back into bed and puts her crown back on so she can go about her daily duties (don’t worry, she’ll ask frilled jellyfish cookie to give you a proper good morning in her stead, and your dear friend is always happy to oblige)

dates with her tend to be quite rare as she’s basically always busy tending to, protecting, and worrying about tearcrown and it’s citizens — that being said, once in a blue moon when she has the time free, she loves to take you out for quiet walks through the palace gardens or up to the surface of the water to watch the night sky and the moon (as she tells you grand tales of the sea and her moonlight, of course), and it’s all very peaceful and intimate and romantic
