Dungeons and Daddies the Visual Novel

Back on my bullshit with the pretend DnDads video game screencaps! This time it's a visual novel where you play a new student of San Dimas High School (later renamed Teen High) and get to befriend other students as you try to make sense of all the strange things happening around your new school and the city at large, which all seems to be orbiting these four kids who keep going missing.

thinking about a teen swap au where they all take the roles that are like

the absolute least fitting for each of them

Scary the mascot kid? Who picked up the gig to have an excuse to stay at school longer. So she wouldn’t have to hang out with her step dad? Who actually feels more comfortable being expressive and cheery from inside a costume. Who may or may not be using “school spirit” as a way to cope with the other stuff in her life.

Linc the cool anime kid? Who spent his free time during homeschool updating his blog and watching anime with his dads. Who was very pleasantly surprised to find out that apparently liking anime is cool, and he isn’t quite sure how to handle his new popularity? Who’s still figuring out what kind of people are good and bad for him.

Normal the punk goth kid? Who got bullied a little too hard in middle school for being a little too perky-pepper-chippy-cheery. Who’s parents/ uncle where worried he wasn’t mature enough for his age. So he decided his freshman year was going to be different, and that he was going to be cool and edgy and mature now.

soccer kid Taylor? Who’s mom put him into soccer classes after he got into a fight in grade school (that one teen fact) because she was told he just needed a way to get some energy out. Who ended up getting hooked on how badass it felt to be the one to score a goal against the other team? Who kept putting his absolute all into getting better even years down the line.

maybe even Hermie the most popular kid in school who’s ability to be a social chameleon lets him fit in with all the different cliques. and Erica the theatre kid who really doesn’t understand why people don’t pay attention to her! Her dad is so rich c’mon guys? How could you not love her? She’s a showstopper!!!
