Jonathan and Liam on patrol when Liam spots something.
"Did you hear that?" Liam Davies asked on a hushed whisper.
The Ekon nodded his head, eyes narrowing with suspicion "Yeah... I heard it." One of the few upsides to his condition was his enhanced sense of hearing. Placing a finger to his lips he silently shushed his friend and colleague falling into his bloodsight to try and work out if they were alone or not.
Liam's fingers were digging into the Ekons skin as he held onto his friend, asking the other man "See anything?"
"Liam... If you could be quiet I would be able to hear if something was near us... I can't see it in blood sight but that might just mean it's a little to far away." Jonathan stated.
The human nodded his head smiling sheepishly "Sorry, Jon."

Under the Storm
Geoffrey McCullum x F!Reader
Summary: A fight with Geoffrey leads to a late night make up in the rainy streets of Whitechapel.
Warnings: NSFW +18, angst, makeup sex, against a wall sex, female reader, swearing.
AN: a few of you requested Geoffrey fics and who am I to deny when there are literally none out there… I pray for more x reader fics for Geoffrey and Jonathan but I fear I’ll never get them 🥲
The rain was falling heavier now than it had been a few hours ago, the scent of damp streets, smoke and that unmistakable smell that always hit ones nose when in London was settling heavy as the storm continued.
If anyone asked how it was exactly you had come to be stood in the rain with Geoffrey, you likely wouldn't be able to give an exact answer. His jealousy? Your own stupidity for being caught in the act so to speak. You knew working alongside Jonathan Reid would cause nothing but trouble. But you couldn't help it. He was different.
How Geoffrey couldn't see that was beyond you. His hunter training clouding any chance of seeing that Jonathan - even Elizabeth, wasn't like other Ekons. He wanted to end this epidemic, as did you. Geoffrey had reluctantly allowed you to help bridge the gap between Priwen and Edgar - a go between so to speak. The late night trysts between you and Geoffrey had come about slightly later, when he'd finally given up playing the cold hunter around you.
Now that cold stare that you'd almost forgotten about was being directed at you. The rain hitting you relentlessly was starting to soak through your jacket, your hair hung heavy around you, strands sticking to your face. You breathing coming in short bursts from running to catch up with Geoffrey - who had only and very reluctantly stopped evading you on the border of Whitechapel when you'd almost slipped on the wet pavement.
"Why won't you listen to me?" desperation laced with frustration as you spoke. Truth be told you couldn't quite believe you were here arguing with Geoffrey in the first place, he really meant that much to you after such a small amount of time? Enough for you to chase after him? Explain yourself and your decisions? You were realizing all too quickly how close you'd allowed Geoffrey to get, how much you didn't want him to leave.
"Listen to what?" Geoffrey's voice was harsh as he spoke, his quick to temper personality shinning through as he almost scoffed at you. "You sympathize with leeches! You've been working with them this whole time?!"
"Not the whole time, just since-"
"Since good ol' Dr. Reid came runnin' into your life" a disbelieving smirk pulled at Geoffrey's mouth, his head shaking, his own hair wet and falling from it's place with the movement. "You know for a second I thought..." He wasn't sure he was ready to admit to you what he had thought, that you cared perhaps? That for once in his life maybe, just maybe he didn't have to live alone, that maybe he could have you.
"Why can't you see he's different? If you opened your mind even a little you would see Jonathan could help you!!"
"Why can't you see that he is nothin' but a blood sucking monster?!" You felt defeat wash over you, how long had you both been arguing like this? In this cramped and dim backstreet, had it been minutes or hours? It felt like an eternity of back and forth shouting, you were thankful a lot of Whitechapel had been abandoned.
"Geoffrey" He could hear the defeat in your voice, it seemed to only make him angrier at the whole situation. His growing frustration felt like it was about to drown him, his mind pulling back and forth between wanting to walk away and forget you and running to you. Everything in him from years of training screamed to run, to see this for what it was - a betrayal. But the part of him that wanted you - that cared for you begged him to stay. Your eyes never left his, your face wet from the rain, perhaps from tears he couldn't tell, even now soaked by the downpour he found it was so easy to become distracted by how beautiful he found you. "Please just... give it a chance?"
"I can't" he heard your groan of frustration just before he felt your fists connect with his chest. It didn't hurt, he didn't even flinch, but the movement seemed to ignite the fire back up in you as you looked back up to him.
"You are the most single minded, hard headed idiot I have ever met" your fists came back against his chest almost on every word, if it wasn't for the situation Geoffrey would have laughed at your outburst. But he simply reached up to grab your wrists, stopping you just before you hit him again. You tried to shake him off, clearly not finished with what can only be described as a tantrum, but his grip was strong, your arms barely moved.
You slumped against him instead, your forehead pushing into his chest. Geoffrey wondered if this would be the last time he would hold you this close. "I'm sorry my beliefs are such an inconvenience to you" he tried to sound malicious, he's not entirely sure he managed it.
You lifted your head up to meet his gaze again, those blue eyes you'd grown too fond of watched you, you could see the hard set of his jaw, the frown pulling at his brows. You weren't going to win this fight. You pulled your arms away again, and this time he let you go. You quickly pushed them into his chest, pushing Geoffrey a step away from you. You tried hard to blink away the tears that threatened to fall as you looked at Geoffrey. "I thought..."
"What that I'd change the way I am because you found a small ounce of good in one leech?"
"That you'd at least listen to me-"
"What because I fucked you? You think that changes things?" When your mouth closed instantly at his words he realized he'd done it, that those final words would be the end of the argument. Yet there was no satisfaction, no relief that you would finally stop shouting at each other, in fact he felt worse than he'd ever felt, seeing the hurt on your face, the way you pushed your lips together to stop yourself from crying more as you frowned at him.
You didn't even answer him, he watched you turn and start walking away from him, your footsteps quiet against the sound of the rain. It hurt. It hurt watching you walk away, Geoffrey didn't allow himself to think before he began following you, just as you had him, but it didn't take more than a few seconds for him to catch you by the arm, pulling you to a stop and towards him.
"Let go" You tried to keep walking but he held you, your voice almost too low for him to hear.
"Wait"
"No!" You turned to face him now, your cheeks streaked with tears and rain, your hair whipped around with you when you turned, soaked through from the rain. "You've made it clear how you feel"
"No I haven't" For the first time Geoffrey was scared of what to say next, how to tell you how he felt, how to make you believe him after what he had just spat at you. "I don't...I didn't...fuck it anyway" His hand slipped from your arm to push his own wet hair back out of his face. "I'm sorry... but I love ya, it wont change how I feel about them...but I can't let ya walk away from me after what I said"
He watched your face, the way something flashed across your features. He almost expected you to slap him, call him an ass and continue on your way. He certainly didn't expect you to pull him to you, your lips pushing against his. Geoffrey kissed you back like a man starved, his kiss hungry, demanding. Yours was just the same, both of your touches laced with desperation as you pulled each other closer, your hands clawing at the back of Geoffrey's head as he lifted you, his hands gripping under your thighs, your back hitting the wall of the alleyway. His grip was like iron holding you close to him, your bodies pressed together.
Your skirt had been pushed up when Geoffrey lifted you, the wet fabric bunched up between you, the cold long forgotten against the heat of Geoffrey as he pushed his body against you, his arousal hard beneath the material of his trousers. Your mind was fogged, nothing mattered, your body ached with want as you reached between you to clumsily undo his belt with one hand. Geoffrey shifted you slightly, lifting you just high enough to aid in pushing his trousers down just enough for his member to fall free, the wall aiding in holding you up as he pushed aside your underwear before rubbing himself against your entrance.
You whimpered against his lips, a subtle plea to hurry up. A hoarse moan fell from your lips when he pushed in, a gasp falling from Geoffrey before he starting moving into you. It wasn't sweet or romantic, the way you both moved against each other. It was desperate. Your lips moved, tongues hungrily fighting for dominance, your teeth catching his lower lip. Moans fell from you both as he moved, your back hitting the wall behind with each thrust. You didn't care, about the wall, the location, you only cared about Geoffrey moving against you.
He felt your nails dig into the back of his neck as you gripped him, the warmth from between your thighs tightening around him as he moved. Geoffrey couldn’t get enough of you, despite the harsh rain still hitting you both, the almost savage way he was taking you - so unlike the many nights you’d both found comfort in each other. He could feel your anger - his anger still, but with each thrust that anger ebbed away, his shame at what he said to you slowly creeping back in and Geoffrey found himself slowing down, his thrusts turning slow and deep.
You almost protested but Geoffrey’s lips trailing down your neck distracted you. You gripped onto his shoulders for dear life as he continued his slowed pace, soft lips making their way back up to your own, the kiss this time was slow, what you were used to. You didn’t imagine Geoffrey could do anything slowly at first, his whole mannerism usually spoke otherwise, but with you, after those first few times together you watched him take his time, enjoy every single moment with you. You prided yourself in seeing a side to the Captain of Priwen that no one else saw, that was who was with you now.
Geoffrey could feel his orgasm approaching, his hips stuttering and slightly picking up pace as he neared his peak. One of your hands moved up along the back of his head, toying and finally gripping onto the longer hairs near the top before your hand came to rest at the side of his face, keeping his pulled close as you began to push back against him, using the wall as leverage to meet his thrusts, your own orgasm knotting up inside of you.
Geoffrey’s kisses became desperate again, you both moaning and gasping against each other’s lips, faces pressed close. His hands tightening their hold on your legs, still holding you up to the wall, never faltering.
“Fuck” Geoffrey’s voice was rough with arousal. “I’m sorry”
“I know” you felt the tight coil in your snap seconds later, your orgasm washing over you, your eyes closing, head falling against Geoffrey’s completely as he continued fucking you through your high, his own came quickly after, your body warming as he filled you.
If you weren’t still so close to each other you wouldn’t be able to hear both of your heavy breathing in the rain. But when Geoffrey looked at you, his hair messed and falling in front of his face, droplets of water dripping from the dark locks you found you couldn’t care less about the rain.
Your body on the other hand did. Geoffrey could feel you shivering in his grip, he slowly lowered you to the ground, arms keeping hold of you until he was sure you were alright to stand on your own before fixing himself up quickly.
“We should get out of the rain” you spoke.
“Aye, you want me to walk ya back to the hospital?” You shook your head, home was further away, the hour was late and the rain wasn’t letting up but going back to Pembroke was the last thing you wanted now. Geoffrey looked around, as if only now taking in your surroundings and where you were. “Priwen base ain’t far from here, I could sneak ya in”
You couldn’t help smile at that. “You mean I’d get to see the Captains chamber?”
“Aye what little there is of them anyway” Geoffrey returned your smile with a smirk before pulling you close to him and turning you both in the direction of the base. “Better be on your best behaviour” he joked.
“When am I not?!” Geoffrey rolled his eyes at you, knowing too well the trouble you always found yourself in. It was so easy, to fall back into your safe bubble with Geoffrey. You knew this argument would come up again, it was inevitable. But for now at least, you had your hunter back at your side.

stolen (Part 1)
Part 1 - the missing Priwen
(Part 2)
On Ao3.
Summary: And someone did anger him, stole something very important from one of London's most powerful vampires. He looked down at the bloody scarf for just a moment before nodding to the Ekon.
London was drenched in the late November rain. With gutters filling up as hundreds of raindrops pelted the roofs and windows.
Those who could, remained in their homes and waited for the morning, hoping that winter would not arrive the next day, that it would wait a little longer. Still, with each day the temperature dropped lower and lower, and during the dawn layers of frost already took over the windowsills and rooftops.
Such gloomy nights usually passed quietly, the number of Skals finally decreased, as the epidemic seemed to die down. Of course, this did not mean that the city was completely safe again.
More livable, perhaps, but danger always lurked in the depths of the alleys and sewers.
Four hunters were standing in an alley in the north part of Whitechapel, trying to figure out what could have happened.
The drained and lifeless bodies of their battle brothers laid along the walls, discarded like worthless garbage. The traces of the fighting were clearly visible, based on the scorch marks and the holes drilled into the walls by the fired bullets. Blood soaked the ground.
"Jim, any ideas?" The youngest of four looked up.
"Nothing yet," came the honest and uncertain answer. They should have been able to take a leech, or even two, since Geoffrey was with them, thought the hunter. "Did you find his body?"
The other hunters slowly shook their heads; he wasn't laid near the others, or in other nearby streets. The leeches mostly suck their victims dry, sometimes they broke their bones or tore their necks open so the poor souls couldn't run away or make a sound, but most of the time the beasts just threw them away after they were fed on.
They rarely had cases when a vampire bothered to take or hide their victim's body.
"Shit."
"Do you think it was the doctor?"
"Hardly." Jim, the oldest of them, rubbed his face and adjusted the shotgun in his hand. "He never hurt any of us." He was able to feel the skeptical glances behind him. "At least he made sure all of us survived, even when we attacked him. It’s not his style. Besides, even Geoffrey thought he was different." And he acted differently towards him as well, he added, but only in his thoughts.
"So, if it wasn't him, then who?"
"That's what we're trying to find out. Look around again. He couldn't just disappear! There must be some clues somewhere."
The others nodded slowly and began looking around again.
Jim glanced around at the wall and checked every cut or bullet hole. Finally, he found something.
"What happened?"
The sudden voice made him jump. He spun around, his gun ready to fire, but he didn’t fire. "You."
"Good evening, sir. May I ask you what happened here? " Asked the Ekon again, his eyes followed the man's arm and stopped for a moment. "What happened?" The question was serious and somehow there was a deep weight behind it. He vampire walked closer, ignoring the weapon pointed at him.
"We don't know. Someone might have attacked them." Jim swallowed his nervousness. He couldn’t stop himself from answering the vampire. "Three of our brothers are dead, but Geoffrey…"
Jonathan carefully picked up the scarf hidden among the broken boxes. The end of the material was soaked in blood. "Where is he?"
"We do not know, yet." He didn't dare to look at the Ekon's eyes. "We didn't find his body. The leech probably took him away."
The vampire didn’t answer. Jonathan glanced around, watched the spilt blood and the footprints remained after the fight. He had to find something to start with. The remains of the battle laid out in front of him what had happened in the alley. But something was missing. Something he hadn't been able to notice yet. He tightened his hand around the bloody scarf.
"We think it was a…Skal." Jim tried." It probably dragged Geoffrey to his lair to-"
"No." That was it.
"Huh?" The hunter raised his thick brown eyebrow.
"It wasn't a Skal. It was an Ekon."
"Friend of yours?" Jim realized maybe he should pick another time to make a joke. He coughed glancing around. "Any idea who could it be?"
"No. But I have an idea where to start with." Jonathan turned around on his heels.
"Hey!" The Priwen made a weak attempt to stop him. "Do you know anything?"
"I don't have the time to explain." Jonathan glanced over his shoulder. " But I will find him."
Jim felt a chill run up his back. Now he was sure that he didn’t have a snowball in hell chance to stop the vampire. Not only that, but he feared that if someone angered him, his chance of survival would also drop to that level.
And someone did anger him, stole something very important from one of London's most powerful vampires. He looked down at the bloody scarf for just a moment before nodding to the Ekon. "You better be."
The creature disappeared in black smoke.
The hunter rubbed his sweaty palms into his coat and walked back to his companions. He muttered a prayer that the vampire would find Geoffrey in time.
The cold floor woke him up. His body shuddered as the icy feeling ran down his back. His arms felt numb, and it spread through his wrists like a thousand of tiny needles.
"Shit." His throat was felt coarse and his head was throbbing from the moment he opened his eyes. Still, he had to figure out where he was.
It took time for his eyes to get used to the darkness, and with small movements he managed to breathe life into his hands. He sat up, but his head still felt heavy. After some groping he felt the pained bump on the back of his head, his fingers became slick and sticky after touching it.
Geoffrey squinted into the darkness.
He found neither his knife nor his crossbow. There was almost no chance that the bloodsuckers attacking him would have been stupid enough to leave his weapon with him but he had to check. You never knew when your enemy makes a mistake, be ready to exploit it. That's what Carl always taught him.
The man would probably scream his head off right now. He promised him that he would not follow him too soon. McCullum pushed the thoughts away and focused on the present.
His hands and feet were free, so his captors did not see him a threat, at least not a big enough one to be tied up. If only he could find something to defend himself with.
While taking care he began to feel around with his fingers to discover the place where he was imprisoned.
He remembered as they were walking their routes in Whitechapel when they heard a painful scream: himself, William, Tim and Jack. Sounded like a civilian in trouble, but as soon as they stepped into the alley, they realized they ran into a trap.
The first attack nearly impaled William, then all hell broke loose around them. The leech was not alone and they were all ready for them. Ekons. There was no question about that the others died.
Geoffrey could taste the bitter taste of iron in his mouth. As he moved, his clothes clung to his arms. He felt around the nearest wall around him, and started to walk along it, with careful steps. Stacked boxes and sealed barrels got in his way. Then he found the way to the stairs leading up.
So, he was dragged into a basement. The wood stair creaked under his feet, cutting into the silence of the room. "Fuck." He tried to calm his own heart down as he focused on the noises above him. There wasn’t any now.
Instead, the chuckle came from right behind him.
Geoffrey froze in his step, his heart nearly burst out of his chest as the chill ran down his back. He was about to turn when the first blow hit him. His felt as if it was on fire, the cry of pain filled the basement, but no one came to help.
"Got you." The vampire's voice tinkled with satisfaction.
The blow knocked him off his unsteady legs, and the kick hit his arm he raised to protect his face.
"You piece of weak human shit!" The second kick broke the bones in his forearm. He felt his body bruise and break under the rain of blows, agony bloomed like fire all over him. He tried to pull himself together, first vampire easily pulled his limbs out of the way, and after a while he didn't even care, the leech just wanted to hurt him in anywhere he was able to reach him.
He could hear his nose crackling and his lungs wheezing. After seconds, he let his body be tormented by the creature, focusing only on not showing his pain. He had learned to be ready to die, and he wouldn't have given a bloodsucker the satisfaction of seeing him begging.
Biting in his lips, he was able to feel the blood filling his mouth, making it difficult for him to breathe.
"Adam!" It was a woman's voice that ended his torment for a couple of seconds.
"What? He's still alive."
Footsteps came down on the creaking stairs and stopped in front of McCullum. "Did you have to beat me up like that?" She almost sounded disappointed.
A foot dug into his side. With a groan of pain, Geoffrey rolled over, his face already swelling around his left eye as he coughed up some blood.
"I wanted to play with him."
"Play with him?! After he killed Alfred?" Snarled the other vampire.
"Well not anymore, you ruined his face, and he didn't need much to finally die. If you ask me, he's already dying, slowly."
McCullum winced. Was he really? He couldn't focus, his body echoed in pain.
"Slowly." Answered the vampire. "And Peter?"
"Reading his novels." Waved the woman off. "You know him, likes to act sophisticated after he kills someone." She slowly knelt down, and took the hunter's chin into her hand.
Ha made a weak effort to pull away from the touch. Nails dig inside his skin.
"Look at him, he still has some fight inside him." She chuckled.
"He will die here." Now the other vampire waved it off and made his way towards the stairs. "I'll go upstairs, Sasha. You do whatever you want."
"Don't worry, I'll follow you right away." She leaned towards the bleeding hunter, watching the blood pumping through the man and slowly seeping from his wounds. "His heart is beating so fast." She chuckled.
"Get...off…me..." Geoffrey gasped for air.
"Oh, he still can talk." She leaned closer.
A new sharp pain joined the choir. It was as if two thin daggers slid into his throat. The vampire's swallowed with a satisfied sound. But it only barely reached him.
He could almost feel the life draining away from him. In the midst of his last thoughts, Jonathan appeared. The vampire would avenge him. He will find these monsters, Geoffrey was sure, the doctor will find them. The only thing he regretted was not being able to join him. But these leeches will die soon, and at least he will get some small payback.
He drifted away into unconsciousness with a half-smile.

My ass over here thinking about stripping a few things from ol Brad Pitt in the film Fury, in order to construct a moodboard for Geoffrey and his men. Again, honing in on the younger charges he would take under his wing. Cause, yanno.. . angst . That the Leader of Priwen does indeed feel for every single man he loses. Especially the lost youth.

someday I will scrape my surviving braincells together and talk in depth about how in priwen / english society in general geoffrey has always felt like a bit of an outsider due to his cultural background — but then he’s also so far removed from that background that Home isn’t really Home anymore. and all of it is just exacerbated after he turns and it’s something he struggles with for years. and to a certain extent never really gets over.

Reminder that this is also me : Geoffrey McCullum For those who wish to follow, please do. He is still under massive construction. I will say to any undead, or plausible unholy character/creature --- he will not play pleasantries with. This is entirely his default. Please take that into account.

No one should ask why Dr Reid has not come out of his room for days and why - quite by chance - the leader of the Guard of Priwen has disappeared as well??

I am in love with your Vampyr work, I just love my lovely Dr. Reid and surly Geoffrey fics like a desert enjoys the rainfall~ If you're still taking requests, can I have one where Jon takes his lady back home (and Geoff is following/spying) and knowing he's being stalked, proceeds to ravish her near the windows. Bonus: next night, Geoff can't look him in the eye, lol!
This has got to be the best request I've had in a minute! I cried with laughter when I first read it! I loved it so much I almost did a Geoffrey version too!!

The sound of Jonathan and your footsteps were light on the dark streets of London, usually Jonathan would have walked you home earlier than this given the situation at present in the city. But your evening had gone on longer than expected, Jonathan's research was finally proving useful enough to take up a considerable amount of both of your time.
Not that he was complaining, getting to spend more time with you was worth the slightly brisk walk back to your home.
It wasn't until you'd both made it halfway from the hospital that he sense him. Geoffrey was a good hunter there was no mistaking it, but Jonathan recognised his scent easily, the way his heat beat far too steadily in his chest as he followed the pair. The fact that Geoffrey McCullum felt the need to stalk Jonathans movements annoyed the Ekon far more than he'd let on. After everything he'd done so far as well as avoiding any guards of Priwen he came across, leaving them unharmed, should have been enough to prove to Geoffrey they were on the same side. But no, clearly the hunter wasn't giving up on his prey so easily.
Jonathan wasn't sure McCullum would know about his private life with you, or you at all for that matter. Jonathan was certain he'd never followed the two of you before so he found it unlikely he would be in the know about your relationship. Probably just assuming I have mesmerised her, taking her somewhere quiet to finish her off.
Jonathan almost stopped walking as the idea formed in his mind. God what a scandalous idea it was too. A small smirk pulled at his lips as his grip on your hand increased and he pulled you slightly quicker down the street. You looked at him in question but Jonathan simply put his finger to his lips, shh you'll find out, his expression said.
He sense McCullum keeping pace, staying in the shadows, ironic really. By the time you'd both made it back to your house you were still confused and non the wiser as to Jonathans plan. Where would he do it? Sneak around back into the garden perhaps? When Jonathan lead you down the side alley of your home you almost stopped him to ask what on earth he was doing, but he hardly gave you the chance. Opening the gate and leading up to the back door of your home, leading to a generous kitchen....with windows. Perfect.
Jonathan couldn't believe the plan he'd conjured up in his mind, could hardly believe he was actually going through with it. Perhaps he simply wanted McCullum to realise Jonathan had other intentions besides drinking blood and giving into the best Geoffrey so often called him. Perhaps he wanted to show him he was different and still clinging to human life. Perhaps he wanted to simply embarrass him.
Either way, Jonathan excitedly pulled you though the back door once you'd unlocked it, kicking it closed behind him as he walked you to the furthest counter. Knowing full well McCullum would need to enter the garden to see them from that angle. Jonathan lit a single candle - Geoffrey's human eyes would need the help after all- before making quick work of lifting you onto the empty counter top.
"If I had known this was the reason for your eagerness to get me home we could have left sooner" You giggled as Jonathan pushed your now open blouse down your shoulder, placing kisses as the fabric fell down exposing your skin to his lips. He wouldn't remove everything, just incase, he didn't want to give McCullum too much of a show. His hands slipped down pushing the skirts covering your legs up until we could happily slot between your thighs, his covered length evident already.
McCullum sighed as he carefully pried open the lock of the gate, he'd caught a glimpse of Reid leaving the hospital, the girl on his arm had caught his attention. He'd never seen Reid with her before. Call it whatever you like but he couldn't let the girl go home with a leech, likely unknowingly walking to her death.
He wouldn't give Reid the satisfaction of feeding tonight, or any night ahead if he had any say in it. The lock gave way and Geoffrey quietly pushed the gate open, slipping inside. The garden was dark, the path up to the back of the house just visible in the moonlight, his eyes snapped to the kitchen windows were a faint light flickered.
He moved fast, making his was up to the windows, keeping low to avoid being seen. A gasp, just audible through the closed windows from his position. His hand reached for his gun, pulling it from the holster he moved along the house, leaning up just enough to look inside the window. The kitchen was dull, the candlelight not aiding much to light the whole room but he saw shadows. Two shadows, Reid was leant over the girl. Geoffrey moved quickly to the further window, he'd be able to see Reid from there, perhaps take a shot at him through the glass.
Another noise came from behind the window, Geoffrey leant up, still out of shoot of the window, a well placed bush hiding him from view as he positioned himself. He leaned forward just enough to-
"Jesus fucking christ" Geoffrey's angered whisper would have almost carried through to Jonathan had he been just a fraction louder. The hunters face flared with heat as his eyes found the vampire and his so called prey. Jonathans' body was indeed hunched over her, but not in the way Geoffrey had hoped, or could ever have expected.
Jonathan's movements never faltered, even when he heard the hunters heartbeat increase momentarily, a quick secretive glance towards the window told his Geoffrey had fallen for the bait. Your moans simply adding to his grand plan. He also didn't stop himself from pushing you back further just a little to change the angle and hit a spot he knew would make you moan all that little bit louder.
Not the crime scene you expected is it hunter? Jonathan felt your hand come behind his neck pulling him to you, he followed placing a kiss to your lips before you pulled back just enough to speak.
"As happy as I am for you being able to make your point my love would you kindly bring your attention back into the room now?"
"You knew?"
"Yes it was rather transparent I'm afraid" You smirked and pushed your hips into Jonathans quickening the pace slightly. "I hope he appreciated the show"
McCullum made a quick dash down the garden and back out the gate, no longer able to allow himself to watch. When he reached the Main Street again he cursed. "Fucking leech"
The only thing more satisfying than Jonathan's plan last night and being intimate with you was the idea of Geoffrey having to be in the same room as him tonight. Edgar had arranged a meeting with McCullum and wanted Jonathan to be present, he wasn't sure why but the reason hardly mattered to him as he quickly made his way up the main stairs in the hospital to Edgar's office.
He stopped when he saw McCullum waiting outside. "Geoffrey"
"Leech" McCullum spat, not unusual for him however.
"Edgar isn't here yet I take it?"
"Oh no I just thought I'd stand out here like a fucking idiot, what do you think?"
"About you being an idiot or Edgar being late?" Now usually a snide remark from Jonathan would have Geoffrey up in his face ready for a fight but the hunter barely glanced sideways at him. In fact to Jonathans delight he realised Geoffrey was looking everywhere but at him. "Geoffrey? Something wrong?" He could hardly keep the smirk off his face.
"No"
"Are you sure? You won't look at me"
"I don't make it a habit to acknowledge your kind unless you're on the end of my blade"
"Hmm quite" Jonathan paced a little edging closer to the hunter, he knew Geoffrey noticed, of course he would, but still his eyes remained on the door to Edgar's office. "Would you like to know what I think? About your aversion to looking at me I mean?"
"I don't care what you think about anything but I get the feeling you'll tell me anyway"
"I think...you went on a hunt last night and saw something you weren't expecting...or am I wrong?" This made Geoffrey look, his eyes flicked to Jonathan, a look on his face so pouty and pissed off Jonathan almost laughed.
"Why are you smiling like that you fucking-" Geoffrey turned to Jonathan now. "You fucking knew"
"Knew what?"
"Don't play fucking stupid with me you perverse fucker, you knew what you were doing"
"Only a little perhaps" Jonathans smile continued to grow at McCullum's discomfort and his own attempt not to laugh.
"I swear to fucking God leech-"
"Gentlemen please refrain from shouting insults in my hospital, I apologise for being late let's go in. McCullum why are you so red?" Jonathan did laugh then, walking into the office ahead of a very confused Edgar and a raging Geoffrey McCullum.

The air once been stale now resided damp and lethal. Distant thunder bellowed loudly off the mounds in between no man's land. Machine made quakes with each shell's incremented force shook the very earth to which the soldier sat partially under. Stirring dust, dirt and other forms of debris off oak beams and support eaves. Cascading soil down into already rutted trenches . Dry bedding such slops of mud briefly before the moisture quickened upon hindering any to all tractive force; swamping paths into perilous clay.
LSgt. McCullum had earned his relief that day. Spending most of it under canopy and decrepit beam writing letters to his men back home. Letters that just so happened to contain secrets; conspiracies , human and supernatural alike. Providing them down onto code , warning about greater dangers to come. He had been scribbling erratically out atop a piece of parchment that was partially soiled with earth and blood. His hands stained with similar residue, smearing the discoloration further.
Huddled over one makeshift table constructed from barrels harboring rations. Whilst his seat, no sooner realized - was the culprit to which his hands remained sullied. This corpse with it's brass cased stake of oaken root lodged into the chest cavity deep, painting the clay beneath them with a pool of coagulating blood.
The beast had proven to be comfortable..if not distastefully elected as furniture for the more triumphant display cast from his domineering victory. Up until he registered movement off to the corner side where the trench elevated, noise that began to stir to one side with echoes and gathered with volume.
Certain of himself using what others would perceive as a fallen man; one being used as this comfortable chair proved to be, would not tarry over well had one witnessed him doing so. The dead man wore the same uniform for starters. Having no doubt raised suspicion had he remained seated. Geoffrey reluctantly rose to his feet over the thought, not soon after the noise began to amplify. Folding his letter up to settle into a concealing breast pocket inside his woolen over coat which kept him somewhat warm. Irritably tossing the writing utensil to roll out across barrel tops.

" T'ere goes privacy, I guess " he groused with a grit of teeth, spitting for good measure to wallow on it's distaste. " Was nice whil'it lasted.. "
