so i recently tried to go the asshole route in iwatec and AAAHHH im so bad at being an asshole in video games. well, it's probably more that iwatec has pretty likeable characters that i don't want to shit on. (except for vace, i have no problem taunting vace and being mean to him. cuz hes an asshole extraordinaire)

like i almost never go hunting in the swamps. 1) i dont like killing xenos 2) i don't like disappointing utopia.

but this is a real shame because the swamps are so pretty?! idk theyre like the most detailed area in the game yet relatively few people will probably ever really go there. and i really respect that actually. it shows that iwatec truly is more personal and heartfelt than most big games. similar to hollow knight, it didn't matter to the creators that around 90+% of players won't discover all these fun things like Sol dating Utopia in the explorer ending if you flirt with her once. it's about making a beautiful, meaningful and artistic game, not about making big cash.

its a real shame that the game doesn't seem to be all that popular. because it's GOOD. like REALLY GOOD.

He puts up a front of being disinterested, mysterious, and a bit of a jerk... But he seems to know the people around him deeply, and shows genuine concern for the town.

Does he have a backstory? No one seems to remember him before the Incident, really... So where did he come from? Why does he know so much?

Why does he care so deeply, why does he pretend not to? Is there something deeper going on here...?
