Made a redesign of Stella from Helluva Boss for fun!!!!

I pushed the idea of her being a swan as many headcanon her as and also mixed in a sun/day motif☀️🌅 to contrast with Stolas more who has a night/moon motif 🌌🌘

Wanted to give her extra shine and sparkle with her dress and gold jewelry✨ I kept the black and white but made her pinks warmer, like a peachy sunset pink 🍑🌅

For my Stella I imagine she has fire powers(which would be a HUGE trauma trigger for Blitz)🔥🔥🔥

Owls are mainly nocturnal, Swans are mainly diurnal. Ngl Lovesart23 work inspired me a lot to try this out! 🦉 🦢. There’s also the whole swans mating for life but not owls which really fits with their fallen marriage💍💔

I also wanted a lowkey swan lake vibe for her, something you’d see a fancy ballerina wear🩰 I’m also into the idea of her family being Duke/duchess ranking and got a rank boost by marrying Stolas , becoming a Princess!👸👑

So I shared these on my Instagram and was gonna share it on my art blog but eh, I think I’m just gonna share these wips here.

Gonna do Helluva boss redesigns for fun :) I don’t actually dislike their original designs, but I wanted to do a more goth touch to them.

It’s funny, Loona was always my least favorite character in the show but I kind of dig the design she has. (Except her hair, it looks too much like Jay Jay) but since the show badly wants to label her and Octavia being a goth, I actually wanted to really show that side of them.

I wanted to base Loona’s redesign off of a Deathrocker. Deathrock is one of the subgenres of goth music that’s kind of more punk like and a bit of a heavy sound, but I can see her being into Gothic rock too. I was kind of inspired by Lovearts redesign with making Loona a Siberian Husky and gave her scratches and ear hole since I’m sure she went through rough patches on the pound.

One thing I wish Vivziepop did is have Loona be interesting in DIY or going to thrift stores. Thing about goth subculture is that diy and thrifting is a huge thing that a lot of us do. It helps us be more creative with our looks and taking reused clothes to give them a gothic touch. Like since she’s a hellhound and hellhounds are very poor, I feel like it would make sense for her to get into diy.

I imagine Blitzo gets strict with her about spending money on expensive clothes from Stylish Occult, and knowing her, it’s there’s a Will, there’s a way. So I think she tries to thrift for clothing and customizes them to look similar to the clothes they have from big gothic brand clothes.

As for Octavia, I went with a nugoth fashion and based her outfit off of modern gothbands like Lebonan Hanover. I’m sure she can afford a lot of that clothing, but just prefers to keep her look a bit minimalistic. I do plan to give her more of a perky goth style of a look if she really wants to do fun things with friends and if she has to be formal, I think she would dress in more romantic goth fashion when she’s around her people. But for her usual getup, she may keep it a bit minimalistic.

Nothing will change much with her character other than maybe having friends of her own that help her cope with their family struggles. I know I pan to rewrite how she meets Loona and how they both bond over having over bearing dads and what not.

I also have a headcanon, she doesn’t really like being around snobby rich people. She was always warned to stay away from imps, but she would sneak out to meet some friends of hers and she feels more like herself when she’s around them. I think being a princess of goetia, she may have a lot of fake friends around the royals that only befriend her for their own benefits. So her being around with imps and hellhounds in private, she could feel more peace and solitude with them.

Yes, I based Loona’s shirt off of Sisters of Mercy and gave Octavia a Lebonan Hanover necklace. Just because I wanna show hints of them really being into goth music. I think Octavia would love to find tickets to some bands they both enjoy for the both of them to get a front row seat :)

Octavia Redesign🌒

Made my own take on Octavia for fun!!!! I always loved how casual her look is compared to her parents more regal styles. Also dig her having a celestial motif⭐️.

Because for my take, Stella has a sun motif while Stolas still has a moon motif. I gave Via an eclipse motif🌙☀️🌒!!!!!! Why I added darker colors, more circle shapes and for her eyes I was going for an eclipse. I kept the star motif from her OG aswell but I made them into pentagrams and smaller sparkles and constellations for her mesh & hat. Fun fact, apparently during eclipses you could see all kinds of different stars and even planets!!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🪐🪐🪐🪐🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌

Pushed for a Nu-Goth aesthetic with celestial motifs, I figure it’d fit well for her whole love of the occult☠️🔮🌌

Switched out the sweater for a purple dress with sparkly mesh. Casual but still very classy for a Goth Princess✨✨✨✨✨👑👑👑

Made her hair longer with a dark purplish gradient. Ngl Marceline the Vampire Queen(Adventure Time) and (Teen Titans)Blackfire gave me inspiration. Also gave her V-bangs.

I really wanted to add more of her mom’s physical traits into her, show her as a mix of her dad and mom for the eclipse theme. @lovesart23 Octavia really helped me consider on how to add her moms swan traits. She has a gradient glow which she gets from her dad but also has long lashes which is part of her mom’s eye marking developing. I can see most assume it’s eyeliner. Also made her body type more of a medium of her dad and mom’s figures.

Went for purple instead of pink. Stella(pink) + Stolas(blue) makes purple! It’s also a color that symbolizes magic, royalty and very gothic💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Removed the boots, giving her a mix of her dads and mom’s feet. Has webbed so she can swim well being part swan 🦢

Gave her skin a purplish gray tint as cygnets(young swans) have gray skin so I imagine she’d still have a bit of gray.

Made her tail less big. Also gave her talons like her mom but black🖤

Replaced her crown beanie for a more gothic Wide Brim hat with constellations 🌌

Gave her hair a gradient as when she was a kid which I assume is from Stella’s side since It was shown she had some white gradient and I wanted to bring that back to show her also getting it from Stolas’ side with his gradient.

Moxxie’s human disguise for the upcoming EP doesn’t make sense to me. Moxxie is a geeky guy who gets bullied by everyone so for him to be dressed and act sassy feels out of character. He would realistically dress like a nerd or a prep because he likes to be fancy and his interests. So I decided to redesigned his disguise to fit those categories. Also is it just me or shouldn’t the role of a character being and dressing sassy go to Blitzo instead?

Hey guys have some art from last month I was too lazy to share

My redesigned Loona again, but this time she’s actually vibing at a nightclub. Not just any nightclub, it’s called The Boneyard. A nightclub for all the misfits and weirdos like her to hangout at.

Long story short, this was an idea I had a while back where I can imagine there being goth/industrial clubs in hell that goes against the society norms of pop culture. So I called it the Boneyard which is suppose to play a homeage to the Batcave (which was an actual goth club in London back in the 80s) and I thought it be something for introverts, goths, punks, rivetheads, and other misfits to vibe at.

I think this club would be in the pride ring so sinners that enjoy that music can vibe over there too so it’s not just for hellhounds and imps. (Actually I gonna break the world building of sinners being soley in the pride ring because I personally find that limiting and it doesn’t make sense.)

That last episode of season 2 was something I’m mixed on, but I enjoyed it more than the other episodes that got released. It somehow reminded me of this old idea and I think this would be a place Loona would find more comfort in. I imagine due to her music preferences there and nobody is gonna care if she’s gonna socialize or not.

Thing about goth clubs that make them different from regular nightclubs, is that people don’t go there to hook up (which isn’t really allowed from what I heard) but to enjoy the music. Do you can roam around freely like a wallflower and they don’t care.
