I have a bone to pick with Joanne Kathleen Rowling (besides the obvious several bones to pick). As an avid Fred and George Weasley fan, I hate the fact that they weren't given seperate personality, they're not even seperate people there only purpose in the book was the comedic relif and I HATE that. It not like it wouldn't be beneficial to the story to have Fred and George have seperate personalities. They are some of the most popular side characters in the Harry Potter series without even being fully developed character. These are the kid that own mother cannot tell me apart, who are always bashed on for the things they enjoy and who's own Mother degraded them for what they were good at never seeing the talent behind their pranks. These are all things I can confidently say most people have felt in their life, but because Rowling is an awful writer, she didn't develop this . I get that the books are about Harry and Fred and George aren't large characters but at least give them small differences in personality.

I want to see George being slightly more shy than Fred but because of the twins boisterous personality (and people lack of an ability to tell them apart) people not realise this. I want Fred being furiously protective of the ones he loves especially his siblings. I want to see George being a borderline genius when it comes to planning and executing pranks (possibly also a off handed comment about him teaching Ron chess), but Fred being a genius with the potion, spells, basic knowledge etc. that they use in their pranks. I want George trusting easier but Fred trusting more. I want George being witty and funny and Fred being snarky and sarcastic. I want after the war (even though I am still in permanent denial about Fred's death) George not being sure how the properly talk to people without Fred because Fred was always the one to initiate conversation. I want everyone slowly realising that Fred was always the one initiating conversation out of the two twins and George just following his lead. I want Fred and George having their own personality.
