I have been playing Furry Paws, because I literally used to do Punnett squares for fun, and I’ve never seen another petsite with this much genetic experimentation power.  And the art is cute.

Just now I sorted some dogs by level, because I wanted to see who was getting high enough level for me to breed.  These are my highest-level Chihuahuas right now.

(side note: The three-letter code at the start of each name represents the dog’s current sports title.  Then for the actual name, I generally either use one that amuses me, or just go with the in-game randomizer.  There is one amusement name here and the rest are random.)

“Oh, but I’ve already bred Cody and Sophie,” I thought to myself.  “I’ll take a look at the others, see if it looks like their genetics line up nicely.

Like....Sylvie does epithet therapy right? That’s his specialty. And Mera could really use it. Like, so bad. She really needs therapy and her issues are entirely the fault of her epithet. But she and Sylvie have no in-canon reason to be on friendly terms so like it definitely wouldn’t happen.......but they’re both furries?? Is that not the most hilarious possible starting point for them to get to friendlier terms??? Imagine if the reason Mera got therapy was because she was a furry. That’s literally peak comedy and it’s entirely possible as an in-canon reason for it to happen

Also, Ramsey. Two-loween established that he’s good at drawing muscle, right? Beefton is like 80% muscle. Sylvie is a doctor so he’s already got that suspiciously-wealthy furry energy from that, so he’d probably be one of the guys in the community that can’t draw but commissions just about everyone. And as mentioned, muscle seems to be one of Ramsey’s strong suits. If they used the same website there’s no way Sylvie wouldn’t have commissioned him a few times. Which is just funny to me because other than that they have no reason to have any idea who the other is. Can you imagine Ramsey seeing Beefton in the wild and having an existential crisis because he’s drawn that bull on multiple occasions and like?? Real?? Real Beef? Since when?? And then they introduce each other and now Sylvie has Two(2) friends instead of just one

#tag talk #okay I think one of the things I love most about the specific kind of furry art that I follow is that so much of it involves big smiles. #the pieces that make my brain light up and buzz are often the ones with characters unabashedly grinning #even pieces that feel a little samey and unoriginal are easily redeemed by a character shamelessly smiling happily #people don't smile enough. somehow I'm usually considered an outlier with how much I smile #sometimes if I've been having a bad couple of weeks when I bounce back my face will hurt with how much I smile because the muscles are stiff #but like. people need to smile more. I remember in high school I deliberately worked on finding beauty in everything. #worked on seeing people and thinking nice things about them. Can you recommend me the next best site? I do think that almost every website has a ceo/boss/whatever they are who is a bad person though- I'm not going to stop using f.a. because of this. Sorry if you wanted to argue, that won't be happening. You probably weren't but I have a hard time interpreting things. This is the first time I've received this kind of message ever about anything like this, so I'm trying to handle this in a way that shows you I care while also finding compromise.

You won't see this now, but I hope if you do come back to check up on things I hope you see that I responded. I don't do well with time limits and I hope my slowness to respond was not interpreted as "I don't care" or "domain owner man not a bad guy at all actually", I would hate for the wrong assumption to be made.
