I hate that the atla remake toned down Sokkas sexism for the sake of not being offensive bc honestly I think it’s MORE offensive that it’s not included bc they are basically saying that it’s not important enough to teach those lessons and it’s negative to prevent toxic masculinity 🫶 As a girl I loved seeing the sexism in atla, I loved the lesson that it taught and I loved that all the girls were capable and strong but some of them were STILL FEMININE (cough cough Katara. The new show ruined that too)
While I’m talking about Katara, they ruined her too, not just Sokka. Where’s her rage? Her hurt? Her anger? Let her be angry. She’s 14 fighting in a war, she’s supposed to be mad. I loved her anger it was real and gave her flaws and depth. And also she’s supposed to be motherly. What’s bad about that? There’s nothing sexist about that? Some girls DO want to be that way? Also, it’s supposed to show how she was forced to take the role of her mother as a CHILD bc of the fire nation. It shows the negative effects of war and the loss of innocence, it was so important why is that gone???

Random Quagmire triplets Headcanon (Duncan Focus):
Even though the Quagmire triplets are well, triplets, Duncan is technically one day older than both Isadora and Quigley.
When Duncan was born, it was five minutes before midnight. When Isadora was born, it was five minutes after midnight, the next day. Quigley was born five minutes after Isadora, and thus born ten minutes after Duncan.
Possibly due to this, Isadora and Quigley are more closer to one another than Duncan is to either Isadora and Quigley. Isadora and Quigley are two peas in a pod causing trouble, while Mom and Dad and Duncan runs after them to make sure said trouble gets clean up.
A joke that runs in the family is that Isadora and Quigley are really twins, and Duncan was just a surprise first birth. Duncan usually gets a laugh at the joke, for he sometimes pull the ‘older brother’ card in order to get the first dibs of a surprise gift (or switching of a surprise gift after it’s unwrap), or food.
Some days though, when he sees Isadora and Quigley having fun with one another, laughing together at something that only they know about, Duncan hates the joke. He feels like an outsider watching the two. It has Duncan feeling he’s not a proper triplet to Isadora and Quigley. It has him thinking they’re not Duncan, Isadora, and Quagmire. It has him thinking it’s Duncan, plus Isadora and Quigley.
(The feeling quickly disappears after the Quagmire fire, when Duncan, Isadora, and Quigley becomes Duncan and Isadora.)

DMC Questions Anon here!
What do you think are the biggest fears of each of the DMC cast (that you want to talk about)?
Hi Ember, thank you for the ask! First one in 2024 in fact) Happy New Year!
I think it's quite obvious this fandom is the Abandonment Issue Land. Literally everyone has them. Even the most faraway background character has them. As for other things...
I headcanon Dante to have claustrophobia and fear of fire. Normally, they don't affect him too much, but if something comes up on a very bad day it may startle him, or cause a brief flashback of some sort.
Vergil has paranoia. An actual need to be aware of his surroundings. I also think he is actually still afraid of demons, childhood trauma be a bastard like that. To get him to calm down enough for proper rest is a true Herculean feat.
After the Savior incident, I think Nero will be afraid of the magical side of the DMC world, and all rituals concerning demons.
Trish is afraid of Mundus. She is his creation, there is no sure way to know she escaped his influence.
Nick is afraid demons too, it's the reason she is trying to hard to do research into them. Rationalise her fear.
Patty is afraid of forever needing to hide/remaining helpless. She is targeted, like the twins, for her ancestor's legacy, but very much unlike the twins, she doesn't have the inherited power to defend herself. She needed Dante, or an amulet to protect herself. (obviously all the sparda loser bois are also afraid of not being enough to protect their loved ones, however, again, they actually have the means to do that, that fear is halfway irrational, while patty is actively helpless against her pursuers, though it might depend of the interest in her legacy/amulet, which is probably much more situational than the very powerful sparda blood allure, so the risk of her being hunted is also less than the one of the sparda idiots)
I'm gonna do a crack one and say Lucia is afraid of deep water. Because she lives on an island, and this only furthers her isolation.

in a world where tweekxcraig didn’t happen im fully convinced craigs first kiss would’ve been with clyde like craig would explain that hes gay and clyde would go “that’s awesome bro” craig would then say something like “ok and now that you know can i do the most embarrassing thing in my life and kiss you just so i can have my first kiss with a boy” (craig does have a very small uneventful crush on clyde but would never admit this) and clyde would absolutely be like “hell yes brother” and that happens and a few years later when creek figure out their stuff craig casually mentions this and tweek becomes suddenly deeply annoyed with every aspect of clydes existence and cant stand to be near him for a month

One of my most prized possessions, die wilden kerle’s animated series first season on a dvd<3
I got it for my 18th birthday as a gift from my dad and yeah I did spill some tears
The designs the discs have are honestly so cool but poor Raban for getting left out</3 The discs are also used but they do work pretty well, there’s only few glitches and that could also be just a result of my dvd player being really old
The second season I had to buy like one disc at a time since unlike the first season, you can’t buy a package that has all 6 of the discs in it so I don’t own all of them yet but I will post pictures once I do
